141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins for 2018 on: January 13, 2018, 04:18:55 AM
I recommend: BitcoinZ, SmartCash or DeepOnion.

BitcoinZ is rising, DeepOnion has an excelent project, including airdrops.

Muito interessante a moeda, estou minerando com uma das minhas RIGs.

Uma dúvida, não encontrei informações sobre o blocktime da moeda, alguem sabe?

Anyone having this issue?

Temperature control thread hangs, need to restart miner!

Using 10.3 Claymore
Windows 10 pro Updated
2x RX 580 4gb Sapphire
Latest Drivers from AMD - Compute mode

Is it the 511 error? If yes, probably is the energy from psu that connect to the risers. Try to change all the set (riser and the psu cable).
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: January 12, 2018, 07:34:39 PM
I've been using coinsmarkets for some months, but the interface is horrible and don't work at all in mobile devices. I think that their first priority is change the website design.

Everything else works fine, I need some supporte once and they answered fast, so I don't have nothing to complaint.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v10.3 (Windows/Linux) on: January 12, 2018, 07:08:20 PM
just a second line with siacoin? if yes what is best pool here/wallet to use?

I recommend using siamining.com, it is easier and stable.

Here are the parameters you need to use:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethpool.org:3333 -ewal YourEthAddress.YourWorkerName -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://us-east.siamining.com:7777 -dwal YourSiacoinAddress.YourWorkerName -dcoin sia

Hello.

What dcri config do you use to get the best performance of ETH and SIA mining? I tested -dcri 15 and was good. Do you have any suggestion?

Hey guys,

So seems like one of my RX480s Nitro+ has packed up. The lights at the top light up ok but fans don't come on even during start up when all fans should. I've tried moving it around to different risers but still end up with same result of not starting up. I've moved the switch to powersave to see if it was anything related to the BIOS but no luck. I've checked all around the connectors (without opening up the card) and everything seems ok.

Anyone have any idea of what else I could do to check it? As it's not being recognised by PC I can't even run further tests.

Cheers,

I think you tried every step that I know... sometime ago I lost a GPU with the same symptons... for some reason stop to work and I have to buy a new one. In my case I was putting a lot of power (cclock and mcclock), stressing the gpu.

Anyone know what combination of dual mining is most profitable i.e. ETH+DCR, ETH+SIA?

I'm mining ETH+DCR and just know I noticed some difficulty to mine DCR... is taking longer to mine 1 DCR... but still worthing.

Hi guys,

I'm having problems with my sapphire RX580 nitro+, 8g  where the hashrate goes down to 20MH/s from time to time (each 20s- 1 minute)

Here is my config :

- Claymore 10.0 ( tried 10.3 but same issue ). Eheruem mining only.
- 4 x Sapphire RX580 nitro+, 8g .
- Windows 10 pro.
- amd block chain driver Augst23.
- MSI after burner for over clocking (memory 2250, Core 1400).

the logs seems okey to me, but I'll put them below maybe u find something I missed

anyhelp would be much appreciated

I think that are you putting so much power in your GPUs and for some reason the speed drops... what kind of PSU do you have, maybe is something with the energy supply from the PSU... I have 3 rigs with those cards, and my perfect conf was 1250 2250... depending of the GPU I need to put less power as 1200 2000 or 1150 2150.

149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v10.3 (Windows/Linux) on: January 10, 2018, 11:08:01 PM
I've noticed my hash rates recently dropped (AMD rx 580s usually at 27-28MH/s each, now down to 19MH/s each) for unknown reasons, but when I run benchmark mode the rates are back to what I was used to seeing. Is there something benchmark mode is doing that doesn't limit the cards, or is this simply just real world vs benchmark?

Do you updated you gpu drivers? Because in the lastest version you need to enable the compute config in Global Settings > GPU Workload of AMD Radeon Settings.

If you are using Blockchain drivers Aug 23, this step it's not necessary, so you have another issue.

150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v10.3 (Windows/Linux) on: January 10, 2018, 11:03:33 PM
@claymore

Need you help please.

I installed 3pcs of RX560 with fresh install of ubunta. I follow instruction of http://www.cryptobadger.com/2017/04/build-ethereum-mining-rig-linux/.

Everything is fine except only 2 card is running. The script can detect GPU0, GPU1 and GPU2 (in purple word). However, only GPU0 and GPU1 is working.

Script as below and the configue.txt is default empty setting.

#!/bin/sh
export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
./ethdcrminer64 -epool eth-us-east1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal 0xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxd/Miner01 -epsw x -mode 1 -allpools 1 -tt 68

could you please advise ?

I believe it's not a miner issue, I had kinda same issue with rx570 on Ubuntu, like fan on 1 card wasn't working, then hash rate on 1 card was significantly low compare to others. So I played(plug to diff pcie ports and used diff rizers) with port on motherboard and rizers, and now it's fine and stable.

Further with my issue, i plug again the 3pcs RX560 which is running fine now. However when i plug 6pcs of RX550. It can only run GPU0 and GPU1. I try to remove from 6pcs to 5pcs ..... until 2pcs. It is also running GPU0 and GPU1. Same setting of 3pcs of RX560.

Anyone can help ? I do think that it is related to the claymore script ....etc since my start.sh script is the same. It works on 3pcs of RX560 but not work on 3pcs to 6pcs of RX550.

Just to know... do you enabled the 4G decoding config in your BIOS? I'm using windows and I had to enable this config to use more than 4 gpus, I don't have sure, but I think that you need to enable this config in linux too.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Msi rx580 8gb ethereum hash help, please. on: January 10, 2018, 05:28:27 PM
Hey guys,
I'm new to mining and I just built a mining/gaming rig.
I have 4 MSI RX 580 TWIN FROZER gaming x 8gb in the rig.
I have just started mining Ethereum with the latest Ethminer, so far I'm only getting 17mh/s from each card and a total of around 68mh/s  Cry
I am running win 10 64bit with standard AMD Radeon adrenaline drivers.
Any help you guys can give me to increase my hash and best mining tools to help this Noob would be great?

Thanks people's.

Hi Stevross, I have no experience with that model, however I'm sure at this point that you have 2 things to sort out:

1) Proper windows drivers:

1.1) The first thing that you want to do, is to fully uninstall the drivers you have installed, for that, go ahead and download DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) from it's official website https://www.wagnardsoft.com/
1.2) Restart your windows in safe mode before doing it (it will ask you for that), and you'll have to follow a few steps to get that done, it isn't as simple as pressing F8 anymore.
1.3) Once in safemode, use DDU to fully remove the drivers that you have installed.
1.4) Download "Win10-64Bit-Crimson-ReLive-Beta-Blockchain-Workloads-Aug23" drivers from the official website from http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/Radeon-Software-Crimson-ReLive-Edition-Beta-for-[Suspicious link removed]pute-Release-Notes.aspx
1.5) Install those drivers and then restart if required, customize the instalation, and select only the drivers, you don't want Radeon ReLive or anything else than the drivers.
1.6) Download and install the clock patcher from this website https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-AMD-ATI-Pixel-Clock-Patcher
1.7) By then your cards should be detected and working a bit better already.

2) Proper BIOS modding and overclocking, for this step you'll have to experiment a bit with MSI Afterburner, and then the bios... please update me once you get there!

Have a good day,
Chris C. Russo
I agree.

The item 2 its very important, because only the drivers will not be suficient for you to get the best speed of your cards, when you do BIOS mod you are be able to increase the mining performance using less power.

I recommend use claymore to mine, because you will be able to put different config for each gpu, as they are not equal at all....

Do you know what we need to put this fantastic coin in Cryptopia?

My suggestion... buy a lot of coins (+10K) and hold, for a long period (+/- 6 months).

Anyone else notice a drop in performance after upgrading to 10.3?

I noticed this morning that my average effective hashrate through ethermine has dropped.

I noticed that too, but I was thinking that maybe is the difficulty incresing.

Lets see if anyone else noticed too.
154  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late, to invest? on: January 09, 2018, 11:14:30 PM
It's not late to invest.

My suggestion, buy cheap altcoins with a good project and a limited supply... avoid coin that the supply are trillion coins.

CoinExchange.io and Cryptopia has some of cheap coins, buy and forget for while... I did this 3 months ago with DeepOnion, Linda, BTCz and now worth some money...

Or buy altcoins with a very limited supply, as BTW (27 mi) or BTCz (21 bi)

In the next pump, just watch and then get your conclusions.

Current daily mining profit for 1 TH is 13021 satoshis, my last five payouts on hashflare were around 14500 satoshis per TH.
Are the pools just lucky atm or is there another reason for that?

I doubt they finally pay the fees additionally to the block reward.

I noticed this, I'm receiving more too... probabily they are paying some part of the fees.

A lot of people complaint about this, and it's fair pay all the block reward anyway.

If you are so insisting to talk of bot trading here is the one I'm using https://3commas.io/?c=btc and more than happy with it. Cool
It has trailing stop-sell and stop-loss and allow set sell and buy positions at the same time.

But what I really need what my question is about - sophisticated trading software for Crypto. Not another trading bot  Roll Eyes

I'm using 3commas too, very good solution... but they don't have a smart buy solution like gunbot, but you will never sell a coin without a good profit, as the trailing stop-sell works very well.

Hi guys, I've kinda wanted to track what I was making with my S9 just like you guys, and I did so on Reddit but just once. And I got lazy to keep updating.

I pay .06 for power per kw, and I live in a freezing country. I paid $3000 for it on Dec 1st. It's out on my balcony and it's currently -24c out there. It'll drop to like -30c early in the morning but I don't have to worry. Its noise doesn't bother anyone at all because, well it's just outside and you'd have to get close to the balcony window to hear it...

Here's a link to the reddit post I've made while ago: https://redd.it/7k5dhx

Daily average has decreased since, I'd say it's because of the difficulty perhaps and it's still lot better than what you guys are making.

You have the perfect environment for this machine... in my case I live in a country that the price of S9 is so high that you need a truck of money to buy... and the temperature here it's a problem too... so, to keep this S9 running 24 hrs I will spend a lot of money... to buy the machine, to pay the energy costs (expensive), and to control the temperature.

In my case, a good solution was invest in cloud mining... and until now it's working good... not perfectly, but I had my payback and the btc that I mined allow me to buy a lot of other altcoins that are increasing my money.
