I've noticed my hash rates recently dropped (AMD rx 580s usually at 27-28MH/s each, now down to 19MH/s each) for unknown reasons, but when I run benchmark mode the rates are back to what I was used to seeing. Is there something benchmark mode is doing that doesn't limit the cards, or is this simply just real world vs benchmark?
Do you updated you gpu drivers? Because in the lastest version you need to enable the compute config in Global Settings > GPU Workload of AMD Radeon Settings. If you are using Blockchain drivers Aug 23, this step it's not necessary, so you have another issue. I'm dumb forgot to set a few things in the command line ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif)

@Claymore
with current version 10.3 (bug occured in version 10.2 also), with Vega64 and Vega56 cards, i get a 100% reject rate for siacoins from both nicehash and mph. cards will benchmark fine though. the 4XX and 5XX cards are fine and don't exhibit this problem and will have shares accepted fine.
i'm using win10 64bit.

Anyone know what combination of dual mining is most profitable i.e. ETH+DCR, ETH+SIA?

@Claymore, did you look at the Parity stratum mode? I remember it was expected to be implemented in future updates. Now more ETHash coins are coming which can be mined solo until difficulty increases. Would be good to have stratum mode for Parity.
what other coins ?

I'm using 5x 1060s 6Gb, Claymore 10.2 and get the "temperature control thread hangs need to restart miner" stuff. Driver version 360.95. Anyone else has this issue and know why? Temps on cards are between 53-58 oC.
Check first post of on this page.. you can try -tt 0 as he said to test it. For me, I went back to 10.0. Can you help me for this error : Temperature control thread hangs, need to restart miner!
My card has temps 62, the miner restart every 2 hours or less, every 20mn this morning
I have this error on claymore 10.2 and 10.3, i don't use previous version. I haven't this problem with claymore for cryptonight or equihash
I also experienced same issue, Any idea how to disable the temperature control thread? Thanks You cannot. It is a driver issue. I agree, try different drivers if you are sure that hardware is ok. I see this issue on latest Adrenalin drivers on some cards, for example, I cannot make it work stable on a system with stock 1x RX480 + 1x Duo Pro on 17.12.2 drivers, looks like latest drivers are unstable in some configurations. Or you can specify "-tt 0" to disable temperature/fan control, but probably it will hang in OpenCL call in a few minutes anyway. I don't think it driver issue, it might compatibility issue with new version of claymore and blockchain driver. I use blockchain driver and having this peoblem with 10.2 and 10.3 after I went back to 10.0 never have this temperature thread hang again. (all same setting only change 10.3 to 10.0, everything stable for 24 hours, 10.3 give me hangs after 30-60 mins) Check History.txt: v10.2 ... - in rare cases ADL API calls can hang, now watchdog checks it as well. ... So now if ADL hangs, miner will be restarted. In v10.1 and earlier miner will work without temperature control (all related options will stop work too), watchdog will hang too (because it was in same thread). So you can select what behaviour is the best for you: restart miner when ADL hangs (use v10.3) or stop temperature control and related options (use v10.1), but the reason is not in miner anyway. Thank you for clarify, may I ask if I want 10.3 to operate as 10.0 which command I have to add?

I really hope there is a way to bypass ADL API check by watchdog in future.

Not yet, but it's in my todo list. @Claymore with current version 10.3 (bug occured in version 10.2 also), with Vega64 and Vega56 cards, i get a 100% reject rate for siacoins from both nicehash and mph. cards will benchmark fine though. the 4XX and 5XX cards are fine and don't exhibit this problem and will have shares accepted fine. i'm using win10 64bit.

what other coins ? To name some, ELLA and PIRL both use ETHash and they recently were pumped a lot. Still they are on the top of WhatToMine list. I mined ELLA solo with great success (they provide config file for Parity node, so it was matter of minutes to install binary to my small ARM-based board and have a working node). Another example was Intense Coin (ITNS) using CryptoNote (CryptoNight) algo. I mined it for a couple of days using Claymore's miner with my small farm when it was around 10-20 satoshi. And it resulted 1.5 months later in few thousand USD being pumped to 700 sats... And it's just a beginning, since ITNS is only (yet) on a single small exchange. But they have a promising roadmap. It is expected to see more coins based on ETHash. While not all have bright future, they still can be used to mine early and then HODL and sell in few months. It usually makes 1000-10000% profit if you are an early bird :-)

Stock ( GPU Clock at 1050MHz and Memory Clock at 1500MHz) at 30MH/s. If you tune with Afterbuner, can achieve 31MH/s with 1100MHz and Memory Clock at 1500MHz. Did not try to go higher cos I want to keep temp below 75deg. Only issues with the R9 390 is temp max at about 75deg and wall power consumption is about 300W. Hashrate is definitely higher than the GTX980. What is the hashrate for GTX980?

Is there a fix? I had similar issues when using either Intel GPU enabled and set as primary, or connecting to PC via RDC (not using TeamViewer). After update to latest Claymore's miners, the issue with Intel GPU has gone for me. The reason is (probably) that miner detects the 1st graphics subsystem and gets its temps. If it is an embedded graphics, you see single card. But for mining it uses another API which does not mix AMD/NVIDIA cards with embedded graphic. So it uses all cards, but temperature may be from another source. You may try to enable/disable on the BIOS level embedded graphics, so your primary adapter is PCIe card and no embedded GPU exist in system settings. And use real monitor instead of RDC to check. This usually helps.
