However, I hope that the project will develop faster than when you add a photo and some text on the website .. A week? Really?   Wink Cheesy
Yes... there are some other big announcements that we will be making the same day.   That is the reason for the delay.

This question was with a grain of salt Wink Thank you for the explanation and I'm waiting for announcements

I am constantly keeping an eye on development and progress of this project. Roughly 21 days left to end ieo, what if you fail to achieve the soft cap?
Will you explore other options and continue with project or abondon it?

I think that you should wait with this question for at least two more weeks. All developers strongly believe in the success of their project (if it were not, they should not create it at all) so at this stage no one thinks of failure.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge? XRP? ETH? All Shitcoins. Read this Thread I will make you rich on: February 03, 2021, 06:21:28 AM
I didn't even have to read to the end what the OP wrote to know that it would end up trying to persuade people to buy some shitcoin.
Well .. we have to get used to the fact that a lot of this type of people appears on the market during the bull run.
I bet he just bought this shitcoin and now he persuades people to buy and raise the price, and he will sell as soon as price rises by 20% or 30%.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [mINU] MiniDoge ... Like wow! yet smol, [Scrypt;AuxPOW] RELEASE on: February 03, 2021, 05:20:06 AM
Unfortunately, after downloading the wallet and typing "setgenerate true" in the console, nothing happens. I mean, it doesn't look like it's syncing. The information in the lower right corner is that "0 active connection(s) to minidoge network"

Any idea how to push it forward?

This looks like a DOGE "fork" to me  Grin Grin Grin

I would love to know what you have come up with, but unfortunately the link to the website you provided is identified as "unsecured". Please correct it so that we can find out what's new around DOGE Smiley

Hello,
I would like to announce that Mrs. Genevievette Walker-Lightfoot will be joining our legal counsel team.  You may find out more about her on her Wikipedia page at,

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genevievette_Walker-Lightfoot

Mrs. Walker-Lightfoot was pivotal in the arrest and jailing of Bernie Madoff, the former NASDAQ chairman and criminal who led the biggest ponzi scheme in history.
This is real ? where can I confirm that he is actually on this project team? If this is real it means success for this project is in sight

Hello,

Our website will be updated Friday to reflect the addition of Mrs. Walker-Lightfoot to our team.   She will be leading the legal counsel for our USA operations.

www.okglobalcoinsg.com

Joining the team of such respected person as Mrs. Walker-Lightfoot is definitely a very big enhancement to the project. Congratulations!

However, I hope that the project will develop faster than when you add a photo and some text on the website .. A week? Really?   Wink Cheesy
286  Economy / Reputation / Re: [LIST] ANN threads that are using bumping services on: February 03, 2021, 01:10:53 AM
Hi,

It looks like business is booming as I found another ANN thread that probably also started using bumping service:
- [ANN] WorldToken — a unique platform that combines the best tokenomics of curren - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5312779.0

I wonder how they persuade customers to check it and even pay for it, because I don't think so many project owners know that they are ordering "cheating service".

287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [PreANN] Umbria Network - DeFi with a focus on simplicity on: February 03, 2021, 12:45:05 AM
Dev here.

Some great news came out today.

It looks like Online Blockchain PLC, who are the company funding administration and development of the Umbria DeFi protocol, have:

Raised £1,000,000.

This is a huge deal for the incubation of the Umbria protocol and its continued development and administration.

Read here about what exactly went down.

As a developer of the project I cannot be more thrilled - this is massive for everyone here Smiley. Umbria devs, myself included are spending time at the moment migrating some popular DeFi features of Uniswap and Sushiswap to the MATIC chain. This means yield farming, liquidity providing, exchange, swap etc etc etc for literally 1% of the fees that we are used to.

This project is going to make some serious waves...

This is quite a lot of money and will definitely help with the development of the project! Congratulations!

I see you are organizing airdrop for holders. Are you planning any other promotional campaigns? For example here on the Bitcointalk - bounty campaign?
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ✔✔✔ Baserank - Crowdsourced Crypto Asset Ratings - Based on Fundamentals ✔✔✔ on: February 02, 2021, 11:13:04 PM
How do you rate the chances that Ripple will deal with problems with SEC? Half of the cryptocurrency world wants to bet on this roulette "black or red" (Ripple will win or lose). What are your chances for XRP to repel the attack and its price will skyrocket to the moon?  Grin Grin

Hi, this is a very complicated case and we can not forecast what will happen. At the moment, XRP has a rating of 61.3/100, which is the second-lowest from the top 10 crypto assets (after BCH).

This clearly shows that the average opinion of analysts is more neutral-negative at the moment.

Me personally, I am trying to mitigate any risk in my portfolio and the day when they announced the legal battle with the SEC, I wrote a breaking review and recommended people to sell all their XRP and short it - https://baserank.io/market-feed/reviews/y3sMPEhYamkaQzGFC

Now I am against shorting it since we are in a full-blown bull market and many irrational things are happening - e.g. WSB pumping the price of XRP.

My conclusion: Avoid XRP, bet on other things with higher ratings like Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin, Binance Coin (BNB), or Uniswap (UNI). Stay safe.

Thank you very much for this opinion. I mostly agree with it. I would just add that I would prefer the SEC to clean up this pseudocrypto. But, it is impossible to remove this type of muck, because something new would probably appear in a moment. It is better to leave it what we know, than to deal with the new banksters experiment.

I like the form in which you present your conclusions and evaluation.
Despite the fact that this type of service on the cryptocurrency market is a very risky activity, I think that it can be successful in this form.
I will watch the development carefully Wink
Good luck!

The pre sale will end at. The end of the month

I understand that the presale ended at the end of January. I am optimistic that the dev team is satisfied with the results.

When can we expect official information about sales results and further project plans?
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dogecoin Be a Good Investment in 2020 on: February 02, 2021, 06:46:34 AM
Doge is for pump and dump coin with no further development for several years from the project owners. I think it is not worth holding for long than to use it to increase BTC holding.

And I have the impression that at least 90% of cryptocurrencies, even if they were not created only for pump & dump, are still used for that. So I do not understand in what exactly DOGE is worse than others to pump & dump on it?
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dogecoin Be a Good Investment in 2020 on: January 27, 2021, 11:13:40 PM
It's a very old thread, it's over a year old, so we can summarize it a bit.  Wink Grin

On the day the thread was started, Dogecoin's price was $0.00294
As of today, the DOGE price is $0.00747

The earnings in 2020 on this coin made for a joke are about 150%.
Answer the question for yourself whether the investment in Dogecoin in 2020 was profitable or not...  Wink Grin
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Craft Beer Token - CRFT - BSC-Token Presale on: January 27, 2021, 10:28:28 PM
does this project has a website or social media ? because there is no informations about that in your post above dev
and maybe you should create a whitepaper for your project, so, people who want to know more about your project can read it

There is created other thread of that project with more information: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5312655.0
Unfortunatelly for Whitepaper and even for website we will need to wait a bit longer, because as it is stated in other thread both are still under development.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many coins/tokens do you think will survive in 2021? on: January 27, 2021, 09:51:20 PM
But we have to buy only good market capitalization coins. Don't invest money in shit coins.

It is not necessary that if a token/coin has high market capitalization, it means it is worth it. If a token with a total supply of 100 billion gets listed on a shit exchange where you see buy orders set at price $0.0001 and sell orders at $0.01 and if just one buy order happens, it will ultimately bring its market cap to 1 billion USD if coinmarketcap has that token listed there. So this is a subject which needs enough of research to invest and find those good tokens which will give better gains.

Actually, you are talking about a bug or a distortion that can occur on Coinmarketcap. This type of situation happens very rarely, and as far as I know, this is mainly what pranksters do. However, many people fall for it without carefully checking the situation. Anyway, these are only temporary errors and do not help the coin last longer. If a project doesn't develop, it will die sooner or later.
The amount of coins on the market is still increasing, so we will not even notice that several dozen or even several hundred disappeared during the year.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [PreANN] Umbria Network - DeFi with a focus on simplicity on: January 27, 2021, 08:48:55 PM

For now we have forked sushiswap on ropsten testnet and are working on a much more friendly UI for mainstreaming DEFI to the masses - mainnet launch over the next 3 - 6 months.

So Umbria utility governance token is already tradable on UniswapProtocol and you can buy UMBR with ETH and earn some interest Smiley

Yes that's right. Governance will follow a similar path to sushiswap using compound's Governor Alpha. This means the token can be available from day 1.

The UMBR token will be used for this!

I'm not a DeFi specialist, or even a programmer to get a good understanding of smart contracts, but this two above statements are a bit contradictory for me.
In the first, you say that the project is still in the testnet phase, and in the second, that it is practically usable and tradable on Uniswap.
I don't seem to understand something .. Could you please explain?
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - Buy in or Bail out? on: January 27, 2021, 01:16:37 PM
SEC has been really hard on XRP. It got delisted by big exchanges. Now I'm in a dilemma. Should I keep or buy more XRP or bail out?

Of course, Ripple would have something up their sleeves. But what's the possible future for XRP?

Let's start with the fact that XRP should not be called a cryptocurrency because it is a centralized coin. This means that its developers can create any number of them at any time.
Ask yourself whether you want to invest in such a risky coin.
As for me, I'll always stay away from XRP.
Yes exactly i never traded XRP till date because as you said its not holding any true value of Decentrelised network . Nothing is transparent this coin created speculation by giving newses and pumping xrp . I neither believed on this nor in future

We should repeat this every time we can. The idea of this project is completely against the ideology of cryptocurrencies. In my opinion, this coin should not be listed on Coinmarketcap among cryptocurrencies at all.
However, I think its end is near. This is confirmed by the increasing number of exchanges, which removes it from the tradable coins list. I think XRP will die in natural way. Stay away from XRP if you don't want lose money.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many coins/tokens do you think will survive in 2021? on: January 27, 2021, 05:22:40 AM
With 8,000 cryptocurrencies listed in coinmarketcap,  1,000 to 2,000 cryptos can survive I guess. It is better to invest in the top cryptos in coinmarketcap because for sure it will survive for long than investing a new crypto which we don't know if it can survive. It is really risky to invest in new crypto but chances that it might go pump, better to research the project first if you willing to invest their crypto.

During the boom, which can last even the entire year 2021, not many coins will disappear. The bear market is much more devastating, but even the one that lasted throughout 2018 and most of 2019 failed to destroy the coins that seemed to be at the bottom. I think many coins will actually disappear, but the cryptocurrency market is still growing, so in my opinion, the number of coins in the market will continue to grow regardless of the situation.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - Buy in or Bail out? on: January 26, 2021, 11:50:17 PM
There is no way I would buy XRP now. With this coin at the moment it is not at all clear what will come out next. I'd rather wait and see what happens
It's better for the people who have the intention to buy this coin to hold it.
The legal suit will take at least 1 or 2 years or more. that is a very long time for the traders and at this time there's no result whether ripple is security coin or not.
Avoid dealing with the high-risk coin like ripple.
People should never lose their mind to buy the crap security coin like ripple.

If you think the trial will take a year or two, it is not good advice that those who want to invest in it keep it that long.
If someone believes that XRP will win the lawsuit in such a long period, in my opinion he should resell it now and try to buy it back much cheaper in a few or a dozen months.
Anyway, I personally believe that this is the end of XRP, but everyone should decide what to do with it by himself.
299  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCclicks is a scam? on: January 26, 2021, 09:46:08 PM
Welp, sorry for your loss.

But really though, stop wasting your time clicking for sats. There are so much great ways of making money online that this type of method is probably one of the worst ways of doing so. I'd honestly rather work at McDonalds as a cashier.

are you sure..??
have been looking for an online legit site myself.. any suggestions

As I know, the most popular website for freelancers is https://www.fiverr.com/ and there is many similar websites in the universe of internet, just a bit of patience.
If you are looking for online job paid in BTC, so you can look for example in Service section of Bitcointalk here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0
I know that translation services are very popular, so if you feel taht you can do it, you can create your own thread and propose such a service.
However, I think you should think about what you could do and try to offer it to other users. You can do this here on the forums as well as on on websites for freelancers.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DeFi] The fastest way to earn DeFi passive income. on: January 26, 2021, 12:35:30 AM
In my opinion, the person responsible for marketing in this project should resign from the bumbing service as soon as possible.
Positive comments from newly opened accounts immediately look suspicious.
This could have a negative impact on potential investors because someone might think you want to cheat.
It's better to open a bounty campaign to advertise your project with help of real users, not fake.
Thank you for your message, you should know that airdrops are in the heart of the crypto sphere, and we reward customers for completing actions, not to give positive feedbacks but a honest one, there is also a quiz that the customer should succeed with to be able to get the rewards. Gamification is now taking place in DeFi and this is why Cocoricos' platform that if fully gamified since years now is perfect for the ecosystem.

As you can see, all posts are deleted by moderators almost immediately as this form of marketing is not allowed in this forum.
I think moderators are giving you one last shot before they also ban your account for speeding up spam.
If you want to use Bitcointalk to promote your project, you'd better choose ways like a signature campaign or a bounty campaign. Certainly, this form of advertising will attract more investors.
