321  Economy / Reputation / Re: [LIST] ANN threads that are using bumping services on: January 07, 2021, 08:46:43 PM
The thread is full of comments from users whose accounts were created probably just to talk only about this project.
I don't know if someone has purchased bumping service or creates these accounts by himself, but it looks quite suspicious: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5305207.0
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DeFi] The fastest way to earn DeFi passive income. on: January 07, 2021, 08:38:09 PM
In my opinion, the person responsible for marketing in this project should resign from the bumbing service as soon as possible.
Positive comments from newly opened accounts immediately look suspicious.
This could have a negative impact on potential investors because someone might think you want to cheat.
It's better to open a bounty campaign to advertise your project with help of real users, not fake.

What I am worried about defi projects, is their lifespan in this market. Can they survive long so these investors can at least get their initial investments before the project disappears? We all know that a lot of these, the end game is to abandon the project once they acquired enough cash for themselves. What is the assurance that they can give that the project will not run away?

We have other products to introduced like farming and exchange platform we will present at blockchain Barcelona 2021 program

Are you talking about participating in the European Blockchain Convention, Barcelona 2021 on January 25?
Will it be your exchange? Centralized or decentralized? Do you have a demo or will it premiere on January 25?

Probably DT members been tired this week and they miss your promo.

However, I hope there are no more people who are losing money on ponzi scams like this.
328  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase vs Binance on: November 03, 2020, 07:13:05 AM
Now that Binance has business operations in the US (Binance.us), the competition between the country's biggest crypto exchanges will become fierce like never before. For a long time, Coinbase has been the leader of the crypto market in the US. But with Binance joining the game, Coinbase's position could be threatened in the long term. After all, Binance enjoys greater liquidity and adoption than Coinbase (as far as I know). I'm sure most people will prefer Binance on top of Coinbase because of its attractive fees. The latter's fees (Coinbase) are exorbitantly high, compared to most exchanges out there in the crypto/Blockchain world.

What do you think? Will Binance be able to beat Coinbase in the long term? Or will they co-exist for a long time? Do you think that as competition becomes fierce, Coinbase will be able to reduce fees? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Grin

After the recent information that Binance has a rather unclear situation related to paying taxes, I am afraid that it will have problems with its existence soon. Even if these are rumors and everything is fine, I think Coinbase will be a leader for a long time.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi benefiting Bitcoin? on: October 21, 2020, 12:57:19 AM
Like the waves of ICO and "world computer" scams before them, these things probably have a short term benefit by bringing in people-- and a long term drag as they bankrupt the people that fell for them and make the whole space look like a bunch of scammers.

But it is mostly the investors themselves who are to blame. Due to laziness and greed, they will not spend even a moment researching the project, but like a sheep they transfer money. Of course, scammers just waiting for it. Unfortunately, but with DeFi, it's the same scenario as with ICO. In the long term, Bitcoin will gain, because thanks to the DeFi bubble more people will hear about cryptocurrencies, but unfortunately many of them will pay a high price for it.
330  Economy / Services / Re: BTC AUTOMATED GAMBLING. on: October 18, 2020, 02:27:05 AM
Casinos try to protect themselves against scams as much as possible.
Why do you try to sell something that will hack their security protection, if you could make money by fixing their mistakes?
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi benefiting Bitcoin? on: October 16, 2020, 06:38:50 AM
I think one way it’ll definitely benefit bitcoin is that just like the ICO season just before the last big bull run, lots of the profits were pumped into bitcoin. Maybe that’ll happen here again, that’s my only (selfish) interest in DeFi tbh.

For those who have been in the world of cryptocurrencies for several years, the situation related to DeFi is a great opportunity to earn money - just like in the ICO bubble.
In the long run, the fact that DeFi attracts new enthusiasts will surely be beneficial for Bitcoin. However, in my opinion, education should attract attention to cryptocurrencies, not greed. Unfortunately, many new people who will invest in DeFi now, will just lose their money first and then start their education.
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi benefiting Bitcoin? on: October 15, 2020, 11:03:52 AM
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't see any ways that DeFi is benefiting Bitcoin at all.
Maybe awareness to the crypto in general but to Bitcoin directly, I don't think that there is any.

Only those developers and the team of the project are the ones who are benefiting in DeFi since they will just create a new project, name it into anything that they like then just put a description and that's it Cheesy.

I have the same opinion on this. When the DeFi bubble bursts, the same thing will happen as in early 2018 after the ICO bubble burst.
Let's just hope it will have less impact and the crypto market will recover faster.
I'm not saying that all DeFi projects have no future. There are many well-prepared projects in this market.
Unfortunately, the majority will fail, which will make investors afraid to invest in cryptocurrencies again for many months.
333  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Scryptcube cloud mining - Feedback and reviews on: October 14, 2020, 10:46:48 AM
You can show that the system is working on any demo or fake website. There were hundreds of cloud mining services and even doublers that they make your deposit x2 in one day that showed how nice and smooth they work, but of course no one could withdraw anything.

The KYC requirement is also not a pleasant surprise.

I will wait for location confirmation and video with mining rigs.

We are still working on the videos, but we will release them as soon as they are ready. Our data centers are located in Europe, China and Kazakhstan, but that is as detailed as we can be regarding the locations.

Also, here is a link to one of our wallets, if you are interested.

I registered and got my free 100Ghz.
It will take about 6 months to reach the minimum to payout. It's a lot of time, so you don't have to rush with the video and with confirmation of credibility.
I will wait this half year and then personally confirm that I have withdrawn my earnings.

Until then, I advise everyone to stay away from this site as the probability of losing money is very high.
334  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCclicks is a scam? on: October 14, 2020, 10:39:11 AM

Now I am looking at what they promote and I must say BTCclicks serves for promotion scam. For example:

Quote
✅ EARN 780$ PER DAY - FIRST INCOME AFTER 5 MINUTES ✅
✅ EARN 500$ PER DAY - VIDEO INSTRUCTIONS, REAL COMPANY ✅
Roll once a day and earn up to 1 BTC. Multiplicy your BTC now!!
Purple Mining Limited Profit every hour and withdraw it to your wallet 4.16% hourly

They accept the content of advertisements in an automatic form. Nobody checks it.
They probably don't even care what is advertised there.
It looks like this service is fully automatic and don't even have support.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi benefiting Bitcoin? on: October 14, 2020, 06:46:03 AM
It is perfectly natural to shift funds between different crypto projects.

I think DeFi's popularity and the momentary bubble are helping Bitcoin. Basically every positive piece of news and every success in the crypto market helps Bitcoin.

The DeFi market capitalization is too small.(compared to the ICO market for example)
Its collapse will not have very visible impact on the increase in the price of Bitcoin. In my opinion even more possible is that it may be quite the opposite. If there will be a flashcrash in the DeFi market, I think that Bitcoin's price will drop temporarily as well.
I think that the reaction of Bitcoin's price depends quite a lot on how quickly the situation on the DeFi market will be changing. If the drop in prices on the DeFi market will be very fast, the price of Bitcoin will also fall. If prices fall slowly, capital will also slowly move to Bitcoin and this may have a positive impact on the BTC price in the long term.
336  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCclicks is a scam? on: October 14, 2020, 05:11:08 AM
For me also 0.1 is definitely too much, so either the OP made a mistake entering zeros or somehow violated their TOS.

However, if the amount is correct and the rules were not violated, then we can easily find many similar and more reliable stories in their ANN thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=234732.0

For example, this one is the last one:

Hi there. Beware with this web. I just tried to cash out after logged in with no problems and even clicking a couple of ads. After clicking on withdraw button they suspend my account because "fraudulent use" as pop up message said. Is it fraudulent to withdraw your money now?
I sent ticket to support and waiting for answer now. Anyway. You are prevented.
Do you use proxies, VPNs, multiple accounts?

I used btc for years. Everyone knows that using proxy vpn or multiple then you gonna be deleted. That's obvious. I got my account suspended just when I try to withdraw. And still get no answer from them. This only means one thing: btclicks is dead and started to scam people. I gonna post this in other sites to prevent people because this is not fair.

It seems that either this service is simply drifting without support, or has been turned in to a scam for a long time.
337  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Scryptcube cloud mining - Feedback and reviews on: October 14, 2020, 04:18:35 AM
I have seen a lot of this in the past giving free GHS for new members to test their program and yes you are going to accumulate coins but it will take you years to reach the minimum withdrawal limit that you will attracted or compelled to buy more or upgrade, cloud mining is the thing of the past, it's not profitable anymore and many of these so called cloud mining sites are just Ponzi scheme and that's a fact.
The sole purpose of providing users with free hashrate is to show them that the service is working, but of course, how soon a user might be able to make a withdrawal depends on the invested amount. Cloudmining was and remains quite a risky endeavor and what we want is to provide those who believe in crypto a tool they can easily use to mine coins.

338  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] ▲▼ Exolix - Secure & Anonymous Crypto Exchange Service on: October 06, 2020, 08:58:58 AM
Now I don't understand something. The Exolix system believes that funds deposited on their exchange are suspicious.
Once the user confirms the login details, everything will be fine.
How does confirmation of login credentials make funds less suspicious?
339  Economy / Exchanges / Re: PrimeBit.com - P2P Exchange Platform for P2P Currencies, up to 200x leverage on: October 04, 2020, 05:48:11 AM
The unfortunate thing that's happening to Bitmex and the timely marketing campaigns could boosts volume on Primebit.

Affiliate program ✔️
Forum signature ✔️
Twitter campaign ✔️
Demo contest ✔️

What else is missing?

I think your Demo contest needs more exposure to attract retail traders. Have you updated your threads on local boards?

It is amazing how perfect timing have launch of promotional campaign of PrimeBit right before Bitmex problems. It seems the entire marketing campaign was done in collaboration with the US prosecutor  Grin Grin

Of course, I would not want what the Bitmex owners were doing to turn out to be true. Unfortunately, we can all see that the Bitmex situation is not looking good.

It is definitely a great moment for PrimeBit. In my opinion, they should double or even triple their marketing campaigns, because by taking Bitmex clients, they have a chance to become the new leading exchange.

@PrimeBitExchange Affiliate dashboard is great and super transparent! But, can I know how often it is updated? Are these hours, minutes ... or how does it look like?

340  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is with Bitmex???? on: October 03, 2020, 11:57:57 PM
Looks like fake news because the Bitmex website is still working and trading ongoing.
this press release looks pretty real to me: https://www.cftc.gov/PressRoom/PressReleases/8270-20

As you can see I was talking about the domain seizure, especially the screen you can see which was and is obviously not the truth.
Additionally, at the time of writing there was a lot of different news coming out, so I wanted to be transparent as possible with the community to not spread false info.

I think this the biggest mistake we can do as a community when such news popup is to spread them further without proper checking, causing only more panic and harm to the market.
This happened already many times and these bad forces behind, count on this and do everything to go viral.

My advice is to take it always easy and think twice before posting because it could look like a great topic for a thread and real info but without even knowing it you are the tool in their hands causing chaos they count on.

From your statement, I assume that you saw something disturbing and you reacted.
Something happened, it's true, but I don't understand why talk about it as something incorrect ?! This is what the forum is for! So that people talk to each other, help each other and verify the facts.

Take it easy!
