Do not do this, it is higly insecure and you will lose your money
Listen to this. It's safer to use a exchange or bank transfer is also popular among the people dealing at the exchange sub-forum.

I have heard the only way to try and do this is to sell a physical item, send it with tracking, and for the item to be received in the condition stated, with the BTC (or in this case LTC) as a free bonus.
Anything other than this is considered very risky.
You mean when someone is buying (or selling) Bitcoin they would sell the Bitcoin for Paypal but also send a physical item to represent what it was payed for? But, then that would be unpractical because shipping costs & the item costs would have to be counted for.

Maybe you should get some trust around the forum before asking for any loans. Normally trusted members get funded quicker but still have to provide collateral.

|
Also, remember to use escrow whenever dealing with people no matter if they are trusted or not. It shows you can be trustworthy too

So what exchange site are people using now in days to sell there bitcoin? And why?
I preffer btc-e, it is long time in business, so it has my trust Have you experienced any problems in the time you have been using them? The forum is full with complaints that site has been down & money disappearing. I know they are professional and I think all issues were resolved. But I was wondering if they would be better than my preferred exchange.

Cheers for the info guys, I've just had it open on a tab, but occasionally go browsing which is why I thought it was strange. I guess it takes a little while to realise that you're actually active.
No problem. If you use the search function in the future if you run in too problems with the forum then they normally have some sort of thread with a explanation. But the search function is buggy.

Has anyone received a refund yet? It would be interesting how they deal with this.
I read a comment earlier that a user claimed they had a refund.

This is useful for people. However, CoinChat is not worth anyones time
