Some of these old games hurt my eyes now but I spent so many hours on them before.

1005  Economy / Lending / Re: 10 BTC To invest. New Investor on: May 29, 2014, 02:25:47 PM
Investing is always a risk but especially in Bitcoin has there is no guarentee that it won't drop and become worthless. What if this happens how will you deal with it? You have invested 1 million in bitcoin? Really? Can we see some of the investments you have made?
1006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Really Save Money? on: May 29, 2014, 02:23:13 PM
Bitcoin is the best thing eer invented for some companies the answer to your question has already been answered. YES companies are already saving money by using Bitcoin and it only takes a little looking around to find out this.
1007  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: For all beginers Free bitcoin Here on: May 29, 2014, 02:21:44 PM
Not even a faucet, it just advertises your ref links. You can't get free money from this.

I don't think It's a referral link but this website Is build on free website provider webnode.com so probably this Is nothing serious If faucet Is using free website from webnode.com Or the creater just doesn't want to waste money on paid website but It doesn't cost a lot so If he would have money he would probably do so. Undecided

If a site can run on a free hosting plan then I have no problem with anyone doing that. I'll see if the site is good or not in a bit after I return home.

Goat was a bit weird.

Ognasty was pretty cool back in the day.

Not sure who else was pretty awesome to me? Meh.

Goat "a bit weird" bit of a nice way to put it. I think he's crazy and brings entertainment to everyone.
1009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: eBay will go bankrupt in 10-15 yrs, and Bitcoin will be largely to blame on: May 29, 2014, 12:40:48 PM
We need something big to happen again in order for me to believe that Bitcoin will be somethign incrediable in the future.

Does amazon accepting bitcoin or more winklevii-like investors investing in bitcoin count as something incredible happening? Because I'm sure that would drive the price up sky high!

If amazon or some company like amazon would start accepting Bitcoin that would boost the price up a bit but I don't think that would be enough to substain high numbers.
1010  Other / Off-topic / Re: Post your Total time logged into Bitcointalk on: May 29, 2014, 12:33:59 PM
1 dats, 19 hours and 39 minutes. I don't understand I think it's bugged I've been on this forum and browsing a lot more than 1 day.
1011  Other / Off-topic / Re: 250 Posts Reached! on: May 29, 2014, 12:09:46 PM
I haven't looked at the quality of your posts but congratz on hitting 250

I have been logged in for Total time logged in: 69 days, 6 hours and 32 minutes.

And have posted 3,110 posts

my activity is 392

Logged in for a total of 69 days? that's amazing and considering you have only posted 3100 odd that's very little considering you spend a lot of time on this forum.

How long does a report take to be taken care of? do you know if it has been seen too? 1st report I made today and it's still on 0%.

You reported something as being a virus but there's no proof, just guesses, so I left it for now.

I think the people who report near or in excess of 1000 posts will be the rare exception, aside from probably moderators.

Is there a daily average of posts reported available? That would be interesting to see. Does the mods' job mainly just consist of handling reports?

Last time I counted it was about 150 a day. That's counting everything, including foreign language boards and alt currencies. I leave a lot for the local mods to deal with, reports is probably 1/3 of what I do at most. Most are thread moves/spam that takes very little time.
Regarding the virus, you could submit the download link to VirusTotal and have it checked by multiple antiviruses.

Thanks for th suggestion I guess I'll take a look into doing that instead of jsut assuming.
1013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or LTC will replace Paypal some day? on: May 29, 2014, 12:05:59 PM
Paypal is well ahead of any other payment processor and I believe nothing will beat them.

Don't be so sure about it.

I'm actually very suprised about those stats I always assumed that paypal was ahead because everyone I know prefers to use it and does use it. I don't think I know one friend who doesn't use Paypal so that's some surprisring facts.
1014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or LTC will replace Paypal some day? on: May 29, 2014, 11:06:16 AM
I don't think LTC will ever replace and neither Bitcoin. Bitcoin isn't suppose to replace paypal because they are total different things. Paypal is well ahead of any other payment processor and I believe nothing will beat them.

1017  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to earn 52000 BTC on: May 29, 2014, 11:01:49 AM
Invent a time machine and travel back a few years and invest in Bitcoin just remember not to kill any bugs or do anything else different.
1018  Other / New forum software / Re: Grammar Nazi option on: May 29, 2014, 10:59:39 AM
I don't think this would be a good option. In the uk you can say something which is correct but over in the us it is considered incorrect. this would be very hard to do.

1020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: May 29, 2014, 10:55:07 AM
I don't think we will ever be seeing 10k because it seems bitcoin has been reasonably steady for a few months. I think this may be the best time to sell personally.

I would check the price history. The price has been stable for way longer periods. Before, everyone was saying Bitcoin will never go to [insert number here] because it was volatile. Pretty funny you're claiming the opposite here  Cheesy

It's just my feeling  Roll Eyes nothing others should take seriously but I've been thinking of selling recently because im just wondering what would shift the price upwards instead of down.

Well make your own investment choices (but don't build them on 'hunches' and 'feelings'). I will not however Smiley

Fair enough will do.
