61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The first truly rare Pepes on the Bitcoin Blockchain! [ANN] on: February 27, 2017, 05:16:15 PM
The guy who came up with this thing isn't a marketer and he seems to be geared toward letting the phenomenon grow organically.  I don't think he has anything to do with the game for example.  I'm not going to preach about how this isn't a pumper's coin and how anyone looking to make a profit must be a bad person, but in truth this does seem to be a different sort of project.  There is a lot of infrastructure springing up around it and I think the originator guy has very little to do with it.  It's more of a fan's thing where anyone can put something together to boost the project.  I think a wiki would be a great idea and I bet the "dev" would be willing to link to something like that from the first post here.

Does anyone know why this coin is increasing in value lately?  What has changed recently?

There's also tuxexchange.com and zaif.jp.

Is there a site with fiat price charts for altcoins?

67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCP] Counterparty - Pioneering Peer-to-Peer Finance - Official Thread on: February 18, 2017, 02:58:52 PM

No you can generate an offline wallet with Electrum, and send the XCP to that address.

XCP exists on the Bitcoin blockchain.

And after i send XCP to that bitcoin address, i can check the balance with the explorer? (blockscan.com shows something like XCP balance) Cheesy

Yes.  XCP and XCP assets can only be sent to a bitcoin address.  There is no other kind of address that works.

i hope next time xcp asset can inovation about internal exchanger
because only exchange in internal exchanger fee is high,

I think fees are lower in most Counterparty wallets besides counterwallet.io.  Not sure about that though.

Where can i find a paper wallet (offline preferably)? Cry

They have only paper wallet passphrase generator as far as I know, its hosted under domain generate.me, but theres no wallet. If ure trying to find where to store money offline u may wish to format ur hdd and permanently delete all ur info, and after uve finished install a powerful malware receiver, it opens the gate on ur machine for countless software updates.

Hmmmm, so the only options are to store them in a exchange or at an address generated with wallet.counterwallet.io? Cry

You can send XCP and XCP assets to any bitcoin address.  But you won't be able to send them anywhere after that unless you have the private key for the bitcoin address you sent them to.

is it a joke coin like dogecoin?  Grin

maybe ppl like the pepe coin like doge! i support this coin. Gj!

Not a coin per-se, it's just a token inside counterparty which runs inside the bitcoin blockchain, so it uses all the bitcoin benefits to its advantage.

But this also means it's impossible to mine Pepe, right?

You can kind of mine it this way:

Is there a decent place to barter/trade for Pepe's? I feel like you could build a Pepe auction site that did Pepe auctions once a month, but then you could also negotiate trades and prices for Pepe's on days where there is no auction.

I can't vouch for this site, but:

For people who interested in pepecash,  join the Telegramm group, we are very active and near to 700 users.
https://telegram.me/rarepepetradergroup

There were Pepe giveaways happening there the last I saw.

I like how nobody bothers to respond but he keeps copy/pasting anyway.

Because no one has volunteered to do it.

Better advice: if you don't like Rarepepes then don't buy PEPECASH.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The first truly rare Pepes on the Bitcoin Blockchain! [ANN] on: February 13, 2017, 02:02:51 PM
Can anyone come up with a good icon for PEPECASH that looks good really small?  The one coinmarketcap is using doesn't look like anything.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The first truly rare Pepes on the Bitcoin Blockchain! [ANN] on: February 12, 2017, 03:42:14 PM
tuxexchange.com, zaif.jp, and the Counterparty DEX via wallets like counterwallet.io.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The first truly rare Pepes on the Bitcoin Blockchain! [ANN] on: February 11, 2017, 04:57:21 PM
Why it is not on bigger exchanges like Bittrex or Yobit?

PEPECASH was invented just 137 days ago.  Plus there aren't any big holders to push for exchange adoption:

The 30% address is the burned ones.

Where to buy?

You can buy PEPECASH at tuxexchange.com or zaif.jp or on the Counterparty DEX with a Counterparty wallet such as counterwallet.io.  Rarepepes besides PEPECASH are also for sale on the Counterparty DEX.
