1781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is real? on: January 06, 2018, 10:28:19 AM
That is what i find now on Reddit https://redd.it/7m7y6r now  Huh Huh Huh
Yes! Satoshi Nakamoto will not be the founder of bitcoin if he is unreal person. How bitcoin will be done without any people behind the discovery and invention? Automatically, there is/are someone behind bitcoin.
It is just hard to find who are them because Satoshi Nakamoto hid his entity.
1782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If all government ban bitcoin usage and bitcoin trade on: January 06, 2018, 04:14:12 AM
Today, some countries have banned bitcoin for various reasons. they do that to prevent the bad impact of bitcoin to the country or their citizens. there are also many rumors or discourses that many governments in Asia become aware with bitcoin and try to suggest their citizens to don't invest their money in bitcoin. i think it is a sign that they don't prefer bitcoin. Maybe they feel that bitcoin will give bad affect to their economic state

No all countries are trying to against bitcoin nowadays, but how if all countries will ban bitcoin usage and bitcoin trade in the future?
how can bitcoin users do? will they do illegal action by keep using bitcoin or give other solutions?
The government in my country said that bitcoin is a good source of income but they also said that bitcoin is a risky asset. They suggest that, we must be able to be a wise in order to gain and do not put the whole money in investing of bitcoin.
I think it is hard for the government to control bitcoin that's why they want to ban bitcoin. Unfortunately, this is a bad news if thr bitcoin will ban all around the world. Probably, cryptocurrency will crash also if bitcoin will decline. I hope that this will not be the end of bitcoin.
1783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Covert to Cash, large amounts of Bitcoins? on: January 05, 2018, 05:52:53 AM
Hello, I am posting this question for a friend who owns some 40+ in Bitcoins. Does anyone know what is the best way to covert large amounts into Euros? Friend resides in Cyprus. has questions regarding taxation- in case she decides to transfer large amounts to her bank account. Does any one have experience in setting up an off shore account? What is the best way to convert into hard currency?  (in terms on lowest taxation, etc. )
Any input would be much appreciated! Thanks!
In my country, it is too hard to cash out bitcoin specially if it in higher amounts. We have minimum value to be drawn at a day. I just don't know how will you convert that but probably you may look for a bank that accepts bitcoin then try to search how to convert it to that bank.
1784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Slow / Expensive / Unreliable --> LN = Fast / Cheap / Reliable on: January 04, 2018, 11:23:34 AM
Once the Lightning Network is implemented and the scaling debate is laid to rest, we will have to add that as a slogan -- Bitcoin - The Real Fast/Cheap/Reliable Bitcoin.  ^lol^

Lightning Networks will help bitcoin to become to stay at the top and it helps the clients to transact easily and fast. The most awaiting solution for the people who are complaining with the charges.
Bitcoin will now proves that it will stay on the top, in contrast to what some critics said.
1785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dethroned From Top Position? on: January 03, 2018, 05:10:38 AM
Congrats to Ripple! I think ripple is the first altcoin that surpass bitcoin and will lead to top. It will remarks in history if that will happen.
Ripple has the potential to move forward but it is hard for the ripple to become top 1 in a long time, due to its centralized system. I think 2018 will be the great year for bitcoin and ethereum, ripple may fade away because of its issue.
Bitcoin will always be my Top 1 when it comes in cryptocurrency.
1786  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bitcoin ATM machine nationwide for cash out on: January 02, 2018, 11:27:12 AM
So as a buyer and seller of Bitcoin bakit ko ito gagamitin kung marami pang paraan para makapag benta or bumili ng Bitcoin na mas makakamura ako.
1787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why everybody is doing blockchain? on: January 02, 2018, 07:51:22 AM
Why everybody is doing blochain?

I feel the world is already doing good.
Our internet speeds are good, hospitals are doing good, insurance is working and so are the schools, flights and education

Why there is so much hype about blockchain and decentralization all of a sudden?

If insurance industry or banks are storing the transaction information in a central database/system and its been working fine so far and there is no double spending problem
, how would making it decentralized help so much?
Atleast from end user/customer it really doesnt matter as long as the information stored is accurate and transactions are going fine (which is already happening)

Agree that in the past, lot of hacking attempts happened (the big retail store credit card, credtit rating hacked etc) but these problems would still exist even if we do blockchain

May be I did not understood the concept of blockchain. Does anything changes drastically for me, the end user?
I would be still going to website to book my flight tickets or go to centers to write exams or get my insurance claims or be dependant on the banks for withdrawing my money etc
Please provide any links or articles to read which explains it in layman terms on what is really changing and what the sudden splurge of devs/companies are really doing

Think of it. What is the definition of blockchain and how it contributes to bitcoin and altcoins. The existence of blockchain helps individual to view a transaction, to have proof of payment and to prevent scams. Everything always change and we must be thankful because it was invented during our time. Everything has purpose and we must go to the flow, for us not to become ignorant at  same time arrogant.
1788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your Bitcoin New Years Resolutions (2018)? on: January 01, 2018, 12:53:07 AM
Happy New Year Bitcointalk members!
My New Years Resolutions are:
1. To trust how bitcoin works like what others told me.
2. Invest and hold bitcoin and top altcoins but not all of them. I will also make an initiative to read their whitepapers and backgrounds of developers in order not to be scammed.
3. Finally, I will share this in my family, if I will have my profits.
1789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the invention of the century! on: December 27, 2017, 08:29:42 AM
Bitcoin is the greatest invention at this moment for me. Eventhough there are gadgets exists, bitcoin innovation in technology and currency will remarks in the history specially when it comes in currency. The creation of bitcoin helps the people to tranfer easy and fast around the world and the success of bitcoin leads to the success of our future.
1790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Growth of Crypto proved Warren Buffet wrong on: December 27, 2017, 07:28:28 AM
As long as bitcoin is used as transferring of account from one user to another, for me it is currency. The difference is, bitcoin is digital currency and it is reliable, timeless transaction and you can remit globally.
I just don't know why Mr. Warren hates bitcoin and some of the people are not trusting bitcoin.
1791  Economy / Economics / Re: If You Hate Poverty, You Should Love Capitalism on: December 27, 2017, 04:22:39 AM
This is a decent youtube clip emphasizing positive aspects of capitalism.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_n6ivGgb9RY

More fuel for the discussion on capitalism fire.

The main point alleged here is: "world poverty has fallen by 80% since 1970".

They claim capitalism is the main driving force behind reduced levels of poverty over the past 5 or so decades, which in turn implies capitalism creates elevated living standards.

Capitalism is not actually the best economic system nor communism. If we want to achieve success and move out from poverty, the best solution is to change the mentality of the people. The greediness and selfishness of our society is the most problem in our economy. Government must be changed in order for the citizen to rule in a right way, to give citizen a right and priveledge. A privilege to study, to live and to be a better individual. Lack of learning leads to ignorance and ignorance leads to poverty. Changing is easily in words but it is difficult to act. I don't know how we achieve it because we have our own perception and foresight.
1792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why chose BITCOIN rather than other investments e.g. Stocks/shares on: December 27, 2017, 12:46:51 AM
Why chose bitcoin? Why not invest in shares/ stocks? Other investments?
Most of the people can acquire the bitcoin unlike other investment, there are lots of thing we should know. Bitcoin also is more profitable than investing to other, years will count after you will receive your payment. People can invest bitcoin easily as long as you know how the move of the price. Bitcoin is anywhere and all of the people can invest bitcoin.

Important Update: TPAY Token Sale is Sold Out!

Hello Everyone! We have officially sold out of TPAY coins. This has been an amazing journey and we are humbled by the level of interest and demand from around the world. We are excited to focus all of our attention on the goals set out on our roadmap. As for the token sale, we know it has not been a smooth one for some people but we are working hard to fix any and all outstanding issues.

What comes next?

 1. First, We would audit all USA transactions to make sure each transaction of purchase has been correctly allocated.

 2. Refund all of the USA purchases which should begin later this week and completed by next week.

 3. Audit and correct all pending issues with transactions and referrals for all transactions outside the USA.

4. Release new desktop wallets with new UX, paper wallet and MAYBE iOS wallet (under development now). Also, we will enable 2FA security before we distribute any coins. We will make sure ALL ISSUES WILL BE FIXED BEFORE DISTRIBUTION.

5. Lastly, We'll Distribute coins to all TPAY holders - this will be done January 18th to January 31st. At this time the blockchain will be live and we will need everyone to have a personal default TokenPay wallet address submitted in the dashboard. We will not send “Stealth transactions” given we need to track on explorer. As we finish each of the phases we will update everyone. Again, thank you all for your support we are extremely motivated to change the world with TokenPay.

Please note that Further Updates will be emailed to everyone and will be also posted to our Telegram Channel. Feel free to join here: https://t.me/joinchat/GgZih0NrYt2F11oXwQ11Cg

1794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what do you think Bitcoin Mining Profitable in 2018? on: December 26, 2017, 03:29:19 PM
I think that every hour mining bitcoin becomes less profitable and more complex. Tell me yours opinion guys plz
Mining of bitcoins is not reliable source of income nowadays. Probably, the potential of miners to earn is four times lower than before due to great number of miners and limited supply of bitcoin. Miners can gain more if they are mining altcoin.
1795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoins goal to end governments? on: December 26, 2017, 11:48:18 AM
End banks, yes, because bitcoin doesn't need banks to be used. But i don't thinl bitcoin will end governments, because governments don't only have to regulate money in a country, and apart from economy, other ministries still need to be organised and bitcoin won't play a major role there.
It is true, bitcoin never be a threat to banks and government yet it was decentralized. Banks are planning to integrate bitcoin with their system and governments are trying to accept bitcoin in their countries. I assurely that bitcoin will change fiat currency someday but it is not fast as what we are thinking of.
Bitcoin plays a vital role on our economy nowadays however, bitcoin will not change the government because government is part of the state and the government ruled citizen to become unified and be essential part of our world.
1796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoins continue to hold? on: December 26, 2017, 09:10:11 AM
Bitcoin can be hold at any price even present price $20000. Because there are on 10 percent chances to dip Bitcoin and 90 present chances it will go up.
10% and 90% are too far from reality. I think no one can anticipate bitcoin price, if it will go down or up. We just should be updated to the price if we want to have profit. If we are scared when bitcoin falls down then sell it. Probably, sometimes holding bitcoins in a long term of period is good also. Somehow, bitcoin proves that its volatility is not a way for the bitcoin to be vanished in cryptocurrency, as what 2013 happened. Let just await until the future comes and anticipate what are good for us.
1797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What took you by suprise, in terms of crypto, this year? on: December 26, 2017, 07:06:30 AM

For me, the price rise on sooooo many alt coins!!!!!!! Cool Shocked Grin

When it comes in crypto, I surprised when the hashgraph trying to replace blockchain technology. I read what the purposed of this project and it seems that it is more reliable than blockchain, it is more fair, speed and secured. Hashgraph is consensus mathematical algorithm. The proponents challenging blockchain and trying to dethrone it.
1798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Сryptocurrency Phobia - new social phenomenon on: December 25, 2017, 09:57:07 PM
The more various opinions I hear about Cryptocurrency, the more I realize that there is a new kind of phobic hysteria, which appears literally about everything related to Сryptocurrency, e.g. mining, trading, ICOs or lending.
In some cases people provide interesting groundings concerning Cryptocurrency risks and instability.
But in many cases their negative conclusions simply sound like: scam, deception and other "demonizing" statements.
I think this phenomenon spreads around fairly fast.
What's your opinion about it?

In my country, a lots of people has rumors about bitcoin. Some said that it is a scam like what I saw in the news. All of people are not aware in terms of technology and my province can prove that bitcoin is not already used by the people. I am also hearsay words that bitcoin is a bubble thing, I don't know why they are afraid to engage in newly system of economy. Even me, I do not yet talking about bitcoin to my relatives and friends, I know that in the end they will say that this is just a scam, specially now that I do not own yet bitcoin. I think I will tell them if I have bitcoin to cash out.
In my own opinion, people who scared to use bitcoin are also do not know to use technology. I believe that education is part of awareness of the people.
