1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRUECHAIN - VERY interesting alt! on: June 26, 2019, 11:15:50 PM
You are definitely here to shill here because-
1. If you found it interesting, you would definitely share the reason why you think it interesting.
2. You would add more information about the coin.
3. You will know about all the exchange where it is listed.
The OP wants to promote truechain only. I think it is good also to post some coins here but we need to understand that it is good if you have some pictures in order to attract people. This is the first time I have seen true chain. However, some of my friends told me that if there is a chain at the end, it may be a good coin. I don't know if it is true. I just believe on what I knew coins that are useful in our industry but I have also interests in this coin.
1042  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippine's 5 million users on: June 26, 2019, 11:28:25 AM
Out of 108 Million Filipinos as of June, 2019 only 5M are engaging in cryptocurrency business. What about others?

Well, even 5 Million subcribers are good enough in terms of number, mukhang tago pa din talaga ang cryptocurrency sa Pilipinas. However, I am gladly to say that kabilang ako sa 5million na nakilahok sa blessings ni crypto. Our numbers are much smaller than our total population. Butal nga lang eh. Maybe, we need to share this industry. Kaysa kung ano-anong investment ang pinapasok ng ating ibang kababayan, why they should not try cryptocurrency?

But I am hoping, soon 70% of 108 Million Filipinos have basic knowledge in cryptocurrency.
1043  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do if you lose $2,000 in trading? on: June 26, 2019, 09:48:05 AM
Well, I appreciate all you have posted here. I usually experiencing that kind of entry. Good thing I have stop loss but at first I lose huge amount of money, yes I have already learn my lesson and I have identified which area is wrong. Is it my greediness? My lack of knowledge? We can surely hit the bottom if we identify the problem. But that makes me to improve my trading skills.
All of the mistakes that we did can be changed. We can learn from our failures. But if we stop trading, we just saying to ourselves that we are loser. We just need to face the reality that we lose so that, we can make a better strategy.
Just like me, I am also a victim of greediness. I lose a lot back when I am starting to trade. But all of the struggles have been surpassed because my eagerness and determination wakes me to stand. So, now I learn a lot from trading.
1044  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: June 26, 2019, 09:10:56 AM
Even without computers we can use crypto if we have smartphones but we can't use it if there's no internet.
We can't fully eliminate fiats, this is the truth for now because of the modern technologies that are emerging.
People can't decide on what they can trust and use but for us crypto rocks!
We need both of them. Fiat cannot be eliminated in this world. Maybe, if all people can access in internet and it will become the regular needs of the people. But as of now, fiat plays vital role in our economy. Lots of opportunities are made by cryptocurrency, but in the end we turn it in fiat because it needs to buy our foods. Specially, in a 3rd world country just like what I live.
1045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For those who actually believed the "10 years jail for using BTC" non sense on: June 26, 2019, 07:23:02 AM
Journalism is all about making things as sensational. This is exactly like when they said China were going to jail miners and traders. Until this single day, not a single country in the world has put anyone in jail for using Bitcoin alone. Everyone jailed or fined was because they committed a criminal act like this points out. Evading tax etc. People need to understand governments are not stupid.
Sometimes, they are just exaggerating their title so that they can catch viewers point. But that is not the real scenario. Sometimes, journalists are not giving the exact term and news to the people. Bitcoin mining is not a criminal job. Why does China will jail miners if it does not violate any existing law. Unless, China has different constitution. But, as far as I know we could not be imprisoned without the law.
1046  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [GAME CONTEST]--💰🎁PREDICTION PRICE OF BTC in Q3🎁💰-- on: June 26, 2019, 05:50:00 AM
This year(2019), from the month of January until this month(June) Bitcoin price was continuously raising up.

CMC source

And now reached the price $11,130.60 in the market, what do you think is the price when Q-3 end?
FOMO or FUD?

Feel free to drop by your prediction including your knowledgeable TA, because that is totally free Smiley and you might be a lucky winner.

The list is wide open for those who want to join.

Madam nagbigay po ako ng aking opinyon about price prediction ko sa September 30. Though it is too low. Nagbase kasi ako sa pump and dump ng bitcoin. There is no sustainable price during past few months/years. Bull run of it lasted only 3 to 4 months. That has no TA kasi dalawa lang naman pwede mangyari, maabot ni BTC ang ATH o magtrend reversal na.

I sticked to 7527 dollars. Baka lang naman.
1047  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin forever the king of Cryptocurrency! on: June 26, 2019, 04:39:39 AM
To be fair, ang Libra ay isang stablecoin, which is kukunin ang average value ng multiple fiat currencies. As far as I know, hindi naman natin kinukumpara ang Bitcoin sa Tether(USDT) diba? Dahil kumbaga magkaibang category sila: Bitcoin being scarce, Tether being backed by fiat(supposedly). Both useful, just for different purposes. Too much unnecessary hate sa Libra in my opinion.

Bitcoin maybe dominant and the king for now but the "only permanent in this world is change".  In due time, may lalabas na cryptocurrency na magpapabagsak kay BTC.  We have to accept that fact.

12,300 dollars na si bitcoin! Mukang nathreaten sya kay Libra kaya pilit na itinataas ng bitcoin fanatics. Tama ka jan! Maaari naman talaga mapalitan si bitcoin kasi kahit sa history, there is always new kingdom after the declined.

"You can't step twice in the same river" hindi lahat ng bagay ay permanente. Magbabago rin yan kahit gaano pa katatag ng pundasyon. Pero, pro ako kay BTC.
1048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling ends on: June 26, 2019, 12:00:40 AM
can this world stop in gambling?
someone who like to gamble hard to escape from the gambling trap. almost like a drug addict. Even after they went bankrupt still struggling to gamble by borrowing money for gambling. Actually what do they expect?
Yes it can stop gambling! How? If all countries are united and make a universal law to fight gambling. Well, if that happens. It make no sense at all because even politicians are part of gambling industry also. We could be lessen our playing time but we cannot stay it away from our lives. Gambling is already part of our life. We can never remove it as our habits.
1049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Justin Bieber VS Tom Cruise - UFC Fight on: June 25, 2019, 11:27:34 PM
I want someone to punch Justin Bieber in the face and that would be amazing if it is Tom Cruise. As far as I know, Tom Cruise makes his own stunts so I doubt that he would be new to this kind of stuff. It might not be fighting stunts but he lived with that terrifying stunts he made. I don't know why Justin suddenly want a match with Tom Cruise but I think he is outmatched, what do you think?
I thought I was not updated regarding with UFC because I have seen tom cruise and Justin bieber which I knew a singer not a wrestler. Well, in case they will match. I will go to Tom Cruise. He can make a punching bag ceremony in the ring and JB will be the bag. Lol. But, we should make this for fun only. Because I think, they are not enemy in real worlds.
1050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any knows the mathematical formula to winning the lottery? on: June 25, 2019, 10:31:14 PM
Have you gambled lottery?
Why Mathematicians aren't riches now in gambling since they know and expert in equation solving finding the x value?
Equation solving in Mathematics are helpful to finds or pick the numbers, how did you know if it is even or odd numbers in right combination?
Is the binomial coefficient formula will really help you to find the right winning combination?

Share your thought here and let's discuss this. Cheesy
Statistics and Probability 101?
Finding the measures of central tendency?
Lol. We cannot make any formula regarding with the winning combination in lottery. There is no such people can determine what will be the lucky numbers. Unless, they are palm readers. Winning in lottery is about 1/1,000,000,000 chance to win. In fact, there is a chance that you will strike by a lightning than to win in a lottery.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Protect yourself from Excitement and keep your Winnings Safe on: June 25, 2019, 09:52:17 PM
Excitement usually happens when we have a winning streak, it is also the time where we can experience a more greedy moves. The best strategies is either to stop playing or to save some of your profit. Gamblers will always feel the excitement, the result will just depend on how we handle that excitement.
We thought we are so lucky and we are competing with the household. When we are hitting the winning streak, we thought that we need to increase the bet. Until we don't know that our profits already lose. After that, we think that we can collect again the profits by betting the capital. When it lose, we try it in a next game. If it wins, we bet again and again.
1052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers needs to control their emotion! on: June 25, 2019, 11:50:33 AM
I was surfing for some old news articles. In that time, I have came across one news article.

Australian died after his 13 hours gambling with nothing in his hands last.

Check here. https://www.stuff.co.nz/world/australia/105184715/gary-went-on-a-13hour-gambling-binge-he-died-with-nothing-left

Really sad, please do not get upset in gambling investment. Simple, take it as easy game not worthy than your life...

Of course because money is important for our life our family life so we have to control our emotion if you don't then it will become big problem.
Money matters it is true so those who become greedy about making money and invest so much money without having knowledge will suffer lose, so if you  get profit once try to wait for the next time, be sure you won enough but with time to time gambling, We just not to be greedy and control our emotions right on time.
As long as there is money involved, man in nature tends to become greedy. But in gambling,if you chose to be greedy, you will never be profitable in the end.As much as possible,we should learn how to control our emotions when gambling because if we let our own emotions controlled our minds,we will never find success in gambling.
I agree with your opinion. If there is any involvement of money, people are too tension. Just like me, I am also triggered when I bet even in a lowest value. I feel nervous when my bet lose or in the middle of the game, I predicted I will not win. Tensions will cover to our heart because money is valuable. But then, we should not involve our emotions all the time. Because we might lose if we will not concentrate to the game.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play poker to train trading on: June 25, 2019, 10:47:41 AM
Not necessarily have to be poker. There are even people who consider trading as gambling. The thing is even poker seem more predictable than trading - you can calculate chances. Much of trading is emotions and manipulation.

The lesson of taking small losses like folding holds true in trading though.
Definitely yes! Many people already treat trading as gambling. Some of us knows the environment of trading. And it really looks like a 50/50 percent chance of winning rate. Though, trading is more difficult than gambling, there is also a possibility to have profits in trading. Gambling only needs luck and skills in betting. Trading needs time and discipline.
1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to quit? Here's how on: June 25, 2019, 09:35:38 AM
Quiting gambling is not easy, most of the gambler addicts failed to on these things because their mind are already corruptes by the casinos. We should not allow ourselves to go beyond on this point, quit as early as you can. Yes gambling is fun, but it can also be a reason of your loneliness and depression.
But we can control this one by looking for an alternative hobbies. Gambling is not only the game for leisure. We can also make things prior to gambling. If we have alternative things to do, we can control ourselves in playing online casino. They say that too much addiction is stressful. It may affect not only our mental but also health.
1055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs. Donaire WBSS Bantamweight Final on: June 25, 2019, 07:51:39 AM
okay so maybe they give more time for each other, both are scared their careers going to end when a punch can end it. negotiations must have been done here.
I don't think it is a case of one being scared of the other. It is more likely that the delay was on the side of organizers. They probably want more time to build more hype and get more $$$ from the fight.
That's probably one of those reason, as publicity needs to get more attentions from the fans, this fight will happen and we will hear more about it
when the coming date is going to be closer, extension maybe needed due to the fact that there's also a coming events between Pacman and Thurman
not sure if that affecting this fight but again its need to get more support for promoters to be be successful.
Yes of course! The unwanted emotions before the event will attract their fans to bet more. For example, what will Donaire said during their weighing might affect to the bets of everyone. I think the match of Donaire is too risk because his enemy, Inoue is more aggressive than him. Well, let us see who will be the king inside the court. I dunno who is the challenger with them?
1056  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [GUIDE] Ang Tamang Paggawa ng Isang Quality Thread for PH Local Board. on: June 25, 2019, 12:06:35 AM
Minsan kasi kahit maganda ang pagkakagawa ng thread, hindi naappreciate.
Look at this, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5156809.msg51544150#msg51544150
That is my thread. Pinag-isipan ko at may unique idea but I also integrate it with cryptocurrency specially in trading. Still, linalangaw ang thread ko.

But look at this one, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5088729.0
In that topic, is there any efforts or helpful to the community?

Di ako nagagalit sa nagbigay at nabigyan ng merits but is that really a quality post?

Nakakainggit kasi I did my best naman para gumawa ng quality posts pero nung nakita ko itong topic, nakakawalang gana. I know simple and sharp but anyone can speculate on their own. There is no special to the topic.

Anyway, I want also to add that in order to make quality post, hindi basis ang haba at ikli ng topic. As long as it is quality. Ika nga, content over porma.
I found it creative!
It is hard to produce quality post here in forum. Actually, I admire your creativeness also. But, don't lose hope in case your post does not working. Maybe, you just need to modify things or have the clarity to point out your objectives.
I will just suggest, you can follow it or not. But for me, the title seems like a little bit vague for me as a reader. It does not show interests. You can make it in a form of question like this; What kind of philosophy do I have?
Because in this forum, you need also to show your creativity by making your title an attractive.

Also, don't be envied with these posters also. You will just hate yourself. There are undergrounds negotiation here. Just like sending or buying merits. But we should not problem instead, challenge yourself to beat them in making quality post. Merit system did not made for competition, it made to have quality posts in this forum.
1057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you gamble? on: June 24, 2019, 11:42:28 PM
Why do we gamble? Simply, we have money. Eventhough, we want to gamble because it is our habits or we want to play during leisure time if we don't have the capability to bet in a game, we can't afford to sit in gambling. Only players who have money or excess money are those who have strength to play. I often play gambling because I am just starting at cryptocurrency.
1058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you watch the matches you're gambling on on: June 24, 2019, 11:28:13 PM
To be able to know what will I modify when I bet in the next game, I always watch the matches. Just like NBA or PBA, maybe I will lose in a game but I always analyze the statistics of the team and their strategies. I look for the game because I am searching for the capability of the team to win in the next game, if ever I bet again.
1059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here think that KYC procedures in online casinos does more good than bad? on: June 24, 2019, 11:16:29 PM
As long as the website is trusted and operating for years and has a good reputation, why not? I know that it is a hassle for some user to do KYC but I guess it's for safety reasons as well that it will never be exploited by abuser, cheater, or by worst to criminals or terrorist.
There is the words, "as long as"
I want KYC procedures because I am not a criminal to hide my personality. But due to the fact that owners as well as scammers can use our identity to front or to make it as victim of exploitation then it can harm us. Yes, it good to have KYC as long as it will be used in good things or for customers identity only. But as long as it will use as a subject for crime, it is also a danger for the users.
1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers needs to control their emotion! on: June 24, 2019, 11:00:04 PM
Self control is the key to avoid this type of incidents. He became greedy after a big win of $60k and wanted to earn more but he lost the money instead, he tried to gamble again to win what was lost but wasn't successful, even to his death he had not recovered the money he lost. This story should serve as an eye opener to gamblers for them to realize that greed is very difficult if not controlled and if you will let greed take over then it might cost your life.
That is why we need to have moderated play in gambling. If we can discipline ourselves, we would not lose a lot. I think being addicted in games or casinos are sign of mental disorder. If you cannot live without playing gambling, you should be worried about your self condition. Play only when you want not because you really need to win that game.
