1441  Economy / Economics / Re: Sick and tired of the cryptocurrency bullshit!!! on: October 15, 2018, 10:21:22 PM
Just relax and remain calm! Cryptocurrency takes time before you will become profitable. This is not a salary in your job where you will get it monthly or weekly. Crypto is an investment where you can get the profits in the future. Don't be silly because things will going to its way when you have patience to wait from it.
1442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum coin to begin trading? on: October 15, 2018, 12:55:39 AM
I was wondering what's minimum / ideal amount of BTC or ETH I should have in order to start trading activity

If you have any idea or just want to share your first experience in crypto trading, feel free to write them bolow
Well, it is up to you on how much money you can afford to lose in trading. 500$ is enough but I just want to remind you that if you risk high, then you will gain high percentage of money also. Well, I think the strategy will also help us to become profitable in trading because even you have million of dollars, if you cannot handle it. Its useless.
1443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted altcoins? on: October 10, 2018, 11:49:50 PM
Hi there are too many coins in crypto
It makes difficult to find out which one is trusted which is not
So please suggest me the name of altcoins which you will find most trusted and profitable
It helps me a lot
Thanks
Well, you should have your own reason why you will trust a coin. In my case, I value the coins I have because I already know its background due to the fact that I joined in bounty campaign and I viewed their whitepaper. In short, I give importance to those coins that I knew the development and they really gave the coins when I joined to their bounty program.
1444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DO YOU BUY WHEN THE PRICE DROPS SHARPLY ? on: October 10, 2018, 10:17:31 PM
Good day, mates.

My strategy is to buy coins when the price drops sharply.

Sometimes I fail, because the price drops more than I expected.

But, to prevent this worse situation, I put 30% of my budget at the time of initial investment.
If the price getting down again, I put 30% more.

With this strategy, I am getting some money so far.

In conclusion, I recommend you guys to buy coins when they drops rapidly.
After sharp drop, there should be sharp rising.  Cool
In old times, I thought it is good to buy when price drops sharply. But as of now, I realize that I must not buy at dip rather I will wait for a signal of reversal. If we will always buy at dump, there is a tendency that the price will go down and down specially if there is no retracement. Now, if we will buy when the price drops, we are not sure if the price will go up again.
1445  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading Bitcoin for real estate? on: October 10, 2018, 02:11:22 PM
I am wondering how many of you are selling your bitcoins to buy something solid like real estate as backup investment? spread the eggs!
I think all of the people here always think a material thing to be converted if they will gain bitcoin (wether in trading or bounty). In my opinion, we do not to invest in real estate just to prove that our investment in bitcoin is large or solid. Wether we bought some gadgets in order to help our work loads in cryptocurrency are prove that we are earning bitcoin through the use of internet.
1446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yahoo Japan to Launch Crypto Exchange on: October 10, 2018, 11:40:51 AM
The Financial Service Agency FSA (the top financial regulatory agency) in Japn has revealed plans by Yahoo Japan to launch a crypto-currency exchange platform within Japan and extended to other parts of the world. Currently, FSA has received at least 160 applications from different companies to launch their own exchange. It will be noted that Bitbox, (launched by Line Corp) had its license approved by FSA and they are currently operational overseas.
Yahoo, unlike facebook and Gmail seem to be less critical about crypto-currency, Yahoo Finance is already reporting several crypto projects in development, their interest in launching a crypto exchange will certainly be a welcome development and could drive crypto adoption as it shows cryptos in a better light.
What is your opinion on this? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Japan is one of the countries that are developing today. And taking apart in crypto space will make everything more possible. Now, I know why Japan is well-known country in terms of innovating in technology. I hope I can also see a project made in Japan.
1447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Can Be More Efficient Than Bank Transactions on: October 09, 2018, 11:43:16 PM
Bitcoin is definitely cheap in terms of borderless, over-seas transactions(compared to wire transactions and such). The challenge that bitcoin has right now is transactions that are made when purchasing stuff from your local store or something. Yes, fees are quite cheap right now(a few cents to sub $1),but fees should be cheap enough to be used by 3rd world countries; as I'm pretty sure a good number of people from poor countries aren't willing to pay even for as low as $.20 (trust me, I myself is from a 3rd world country). Here's where lightning network[1] comes in. Hoping for a steady increase in development and adoption.

[1] https://lightning.network/
Yeah! Because bitcoin can be user all over the world except for countries that banned the bitcoin and cryptocurrency. It is more efficient also when transacting on overseas and international. The fees are lower than banking. And last, we can send money even we are at house. I rather use bitcoin than transferring my money using remittance center.
1448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be Taught in Schools? on: October 09, 2018, 09:55:20 PM
I think it is common that cryptocurrency will become part of the lesson to be discussed inside the classroom. In fact, I will use some of my knowledge and skills that I learned in cryptocurrency if ever, I will teach this second semester. I think it will boost the understanding of the students on how cryptocurrency plays in our daily life.
1449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to get in and get out in Bear/Bull Markets on: October 09, 2018, 09:41:24 PM
I think you can use some indicators to find out that there is already a reversal of trend. These indicators will help us to identify when the trend will change or will continuously going to its direction. I use MACD or BOLLINGER BANDS to know if the trend is at my bias. However, i do not depend only on TA rather I make research or view some news.
1450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Centralized vs Decentralized Exchanges - Which ones are better? on: October 08, 2018, 11:50:46 PM
Centralization will lead to a complete monopoly of the big players. To the same situation as now in the forex market. But centralization will also lead to the development of tools, that ensure trade security.
However, most of the successful ICO that listed on dex are meant to be dumped. They are dumping by unknown people who controls the price. When it listed on centralized exchange, price goes upward and the coin becomes stable. This is the reality of new coins listed on exchange and I don't why it happens.
1451  Economy / Economics / Re: Portfolio on: October 08, 2018, 10:12:20 PM
How many cryptos should Ihave in my portfolio? Are there one recommended diversification ( like having 3 or 4 coins) ?
I advise you to divide your portfolio into 33% which means having a maximum of 3 coins. If you will have large numbers of hold coins, definitely you cannot handle it or there is a tendency that you will lose. If you are just starting, you can set your target profits to the coins you have and buy another set of coins so that, you can hold it again.
1452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most "Bitcoin" thing you've done? on: October 08, 2018, 01:49:27 PM
The most crypto thing that I have done so far was joining a 45 weeks campaign which lasted till in the future. I joined  at my first bounty and till now, I did not get any cent about my campaign (the only campaign, I joined). I quit from it recently because nothing goes on. My realization was late but I think it is not the time to lose hope in crypto. I am just starting

1454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: One good thing about the crash on: September 18, 2018, 11:51:43 PM
This crash has one good thing. Seems like Bitconnect is finally gone  Cool
Crash is the momentum that buyers are waiting for. If I am a buyer, my entry point will always be the crash or decline of a coin that I want to buy. There are always been a good thing in a bear and bull run season, it will just depend on us. If we have a perfect timing for this, probably we gain a lot.
1455  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: "New Newbie restriction" ano masasabi nyo? on: September 18, 2018, 12:04:36 AM
Well, it's fine kase wala naman akong alt account. I think they're just making unnecessary actions. Well, it's their own forum not ours. They can do whatever they want. Just saying Cheesy.

Huli:
"It's there forum" - Well, technically speaking yes sa kanila to. Pero, tayo ang nakikinabang, It's a forum for all.

"Individual ambition serves the common good"
Ika nga ni Adam Smith.

All of us here have our own purpose. Kung gusto man natin, kailangan natin paghusayan.

1457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties are STUPID on: September 15, 2018, 06:09:22 AM
What's the point in distributing 2% towards bounties??

Those people will flip the tokens as soon as they get them, and it's usually much less people than it looks like due to multi-account.

Also the quality of the post is very low even for hero and "legendary" members.

If I had a coin I would never ever distribute part of the tokens towards bounties; I'd see that as a kick in the nuts to legit ICO participants.
Sometimes, member below senior rank are those who have critical thinking in posting in forum. Likewise, a lot of lower ranks are not satisfied from their earnings in bounty specially that some of us here are not receiving merits eventhough we have quality post. Bounties are only for bounty manager because many campaign today are deceived nor scammed by developers as well as bounty manager. % of bounty rewards are not really true because all we got is cent.
1458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if Bounty is scam? on: September 15, 2018, 04:31:08 AM
If you don't like to do investigation on our own you should check on popular websites such as icoBench, topicolist, icowatchlist and see how good the projects are rated and if they are on the list on the website even.

Other include you doing proper research of team members, idea behind and all others necessary stuff.
However, even we know the genuineness of the developers, we cannot say that the project is not a scam. Because today, even successful project and true developers are scamming bounty hunters by deceiving the amount of tokens they must distribute to the hunters.
1459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lightning.net stats: 111 BTC • 2.87K nodes • 10.23K channels on: September 13, 2018, 09:08:01 AM
wow that is great one, please i would like to know more about this lightning network  i have opened it but can't comprehend it can someone narrate to me more clearer.
Me too because I do not have deeper understanding about the technicalities of cryptocurrency. However, I knew how lightning works will help the bitcoin to perform a fast and easy transaction. It will give an easy and functional system for two individual person that will make the transaction using bitcoin.
1460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money on the fall of the market. on: September 12, 2018, 11:06:16 PM
I recently entered the topic of crypto currency and now is not a very good time for earnings. Since bitcoin is falling. Please tell me how you can make money on the fall of the market.
Scalping is a good strategy in order for us not to have a large loss during a crash. We buy lows and sell highs even the market is bleeding. It will just depend on how we will react to the market but having profits is not assurance because we assume that the price won't pull up in case it constantly moving down.
