1741  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is the bitcoin price going down? on: February 05, 2018, 10:39:08 AM
The factors affecting the price of bitcoin are:
1. Speculations of the people, some investors are misleading in result for the panic selling.
2. Seasons affect the price also. There are times that the demand of bitcoin is so down because of Christmas holiday and other holidays.
3. The banning of different countries in bitcoin and the government warned the people not to invest much in bitcoin.
4. When whales make some conspiracy that leads to controlling of the market.

1745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone remember the original vision of cryptocurrencies? on: February 02, 2018, 01:56:16 PM
As of now, speculations made people more fear of cryptocurrency. People who are not aware to the environment of crypto makes a panic selling. Aside from  banning of bitcoin in every part of the world, altcoins also dipping down. That is the reason why some of the traders specially the newbies sell out their coins and pulling out with crypto.
We cannot tell the future of digital currency but if we are all losing the opportunity to change our world then all of the hardship of Satoshi Nakamoto will gone. Hopefully, the vision of cryptocurrency will always remain in us till the moment we faded.
1746  Economy / Economics / Re: Why African millennials can't get enough of Bitcoin on: February 02, 2018, 07:32:10 AM
Bitcoin is a currency of refuge, if Africa has poor people these people will eventually invest in bitcoin, I believe that in a few years all countries will be allowing the use of bitcoin. I always say that the biggest obstacle that we Africans have faced is the corruption on a large scale, Africans have a very retarded way of thinking... If an African becomes president of a country, this African takes the government as if it were property of him, this African enriches his entire family with the hard-earned money of the people.
The African is poor, but he lives in luxury. All members of that president's political party live in the greatest joy and wealth.
Africa's poverty started from the colonization of European countries. History dictated how the poor continent wanted to overcome the problem. Africa is a rich continent, different natural resources can be found in Africa, black diamonds can be seen in Africa (the most luxurious diamond in the world). Unfortunately, the continent is under corrupted government. The development becomes stagnant and almost all citizens are deprive for education. There is no more changing, there is no more progression for the Africa, the problem needs to deal by the government. If the government cares about the citizen and the country, they will make improvements for the Africa.
When does the Africa moves on? I believe that there are time for something, Africa will reach its peak if all of the people are united as one and when the government will take care for the welfare of the citizen. The adaption of trends is possible if they resolve first the undying problem of Africa, the corruption.
1747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A possibility to travel without your wallet (just with Bitcoins)? on: February 01, 2018, 10:50:41 PM
It is possible to travel in different countries soon as the whole government will consider bitcoin as part of our economy. If there is no banning of bitcoins for sure, you can go as far as you want without any hessitations that you cannot use your bitcoins in other countries.
1748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Government Claims Bitcoin Cash Is ‘Original’ Bitcoin on: January 31, 2018, 07:33:39 PM
They say it because they are the government and many people will follow them eventhough what they are said is unrealistic. As we can see, bitcoin exists in 2009 and if it is the real BCC, why they did not think in the past few years to change their name? They want just to prove it right now? Also, why the BCC want to compete with BTC? I do not really trust the story. The author will dictate what he or she want to write and what are on his perception.
P.S.
I do not inflict the person who started this thread, I did not trust the article you've share.
1749  Economy / Economics / Re: It's happening: U.S. Regulators Subpoena Crypto Exchange Bitfinex, Tether on: January 30, 2018, 10:09:41 PM
It sucks that crypto has to go through this progression but we always knew scams like Bitconnect and this one would end. Good thing they are looking into it now at the very least, stop the scams people.

The real problem is that they didn't publish their financial statement!

Scams should be stopped or at very less halved. If the government is here because of that let them do it. But the real problem is that the government is looking into matters that are presenting some kind of threat to them even it is not a scam.
Scams should be removed, they are the one make the bad images of crypto in our society! The reason behind the fear of the people to invest and engage in cryptocurrency! In news, the speculations about cryptocurrency are good and interesting but definitely, cryptocurrency is a matter of risk.
Scams are the reason of maltreatment of the government. The government did not want to suffer their citizen into bankruptcy. They do not want us to engage in a invisible investment.

1751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest loss in cryptocurrency? on: January 29, 2018, 09:19:21 PM
Because I am just a newbie in cryptocurrency, I never loss large amount of money but I almost wasting 2 months of my time in bitcointalk. I am hoping that someday I will gain money and make it as my capital in trading. In terms of loss, I lose my effort, time and even a small amount of money but I always pray that all of my sacrifices will return back to me.

1754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most attractive concept about Bitcoin? on: January 27, 2018, 08:39:32 PM
In a newbie like me, the most attractive concept of the bitcoin is its price! The number of its value compared to fial currency. Bitcoin also caught my attention when I noticed that it can be stored in digital wallet without fear of loss.
1755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bob's Repair ICO endorsed by John McAfee on: January 27, 2018, 05:50:44 AM
Will the skilled workers apply to the Bob's repair in order to become part of the service? What are the different requirements in order to apply? I hope that you did not just solve the main problems but you can assure that the clients will satisfy to the skilled workers. A competent worker is needed this time.
1756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The great Lightning scam on: January 26, 2018, 09:11:55 PM
Lightning network can ease the problem to the high transaction fees and slow processing of bitcoin. We can't make any accusation that lightning network is a scam. It helps to boost again the name of bitcoin though we all know that lightning network can be more centralised than usual.
1757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bob's Repair ICO endorsed by John McAfee on: January 26, 2018, 02:22:36 PM
What if the you don't get much attention from the community? it was stated that one of your solution to fight fraud and hidden advertising fees is through the spread of word.
I always look with your reply but until now I never get your point. Will you please elaborate your opinion?
When we say "spread of word", it is not actually saying to other people or posting in a social media site, it about how the community will share their good experience in the community. The satisfaction of the customers will lead them to persuade other people to try the service of Bob's repair. Bob's repair will now advertising without fees. Promotions came from the heart of the consumer.
So how can you tell us that many people will not get the attention of Bob's repair if the project itself helps to boost their name. Whom did not enjoy for a fast and reliable skilled workers? If yes, they are the old contractors who gave a big hidden costs to the customers.
I think you already catch up his point of view. The thing is, why is it the reason behind the protection from the fraud and high hidden costs will be based from the spread of word? Is it important for the Bob's repair to have more advertisment in order to give the solution in the review system and hidden cost problem?
1758  Economy / Economics / Re: About currency risk on: January 26, 2018, 09:21:26 AM
I believe that cryptocurrency is a risky asset. If you enter the world of crypto, you need to know that you are putting yourself in a risk. You are sacrificing your time; effort and even the money. As a matter of fact, cryptocurrency may loose all of you have and may cause for a person to become more poor than usual. Crypto is a liability and it is not an asset but why we are here? It is not just we want to sacrifice ourselves but we are expecting that someday we can earn a lot, we can survive for our daily needs and we want to move up in our life. We put ourselves in risk because we know that cryptocurrency is worthy. Hoping someday that all of our sacrifices will be paid. It is good to risk our life just to earn rather than to wait for something to come to us.
Currency is risky but we must put ourselves in a risk just to survive.
1759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft stopped accepting payment by bitcoin on: January 25, 2018, 10:12:45 PM
Last time I saw that microsoft accepting bitcoin and now they stop again using it. I don't know what they are pointing of. Usually, the volatility of bitcoin is the reason why microsoft pulled out from it. Microsoft corporation do not want to lose more profits, and we all know that microsoft is a huge corporation. If they will continue in accessing with bitcoin definitely, if bitcoin will suddenly goes down there profits and even capital may loose.
1760  Economy / Economics / Re: More than 10 percent of $3.7 billion raised in ICOs has been stolen: Ernst & You on: January 23, 2018, 12:25:16 AM
Phishing attacks are getting more sophisticated and people are negligible their security.

According to Google, only 10% are using some kind of 2FA. I guess in crypto community the percentage is higher, but still this is one of the main reason phishing attacks to be successful.
Its real! People now on are vulnerable in phishing attacks. We don't have the assurance that our coin is at the good hand. These phishing attacks may lead to a total lose of cryptocurrency. I hope not.
