421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 15, 2013, 07:40:52 AM
Sounds good.   1 thing to rebuild your image.  Fix your Nugget announcement.  I told you that before, you acknowledged it, but then ignored it.

Your announcement states there is 0 premine.  then down about 6-8 posts you mention the 1%.  Now not many are really going to flip about that, but you have to edit the top post, which is the actual announcement to reflect this.  That is why people said you were burying it.  After that stop bringing it up.  You know how people feel about it, you will never swing them in your favor.   The Original Post must constantly be updated, as info changes, as it's your main window to the world.  Your sales sheet so to speak.   Also clean it up of all unnecessary drivel.  Don't keep harping you wanted SHA256.  If you really wanted it, then you shouldn't have had a poll.  It's not a poll if you can't accept the results.  And remove things like it has PoS, when you claimed afterwards that it no longer does.

BTW you have some stiff competition, as there were about 4-5 coins with PoW and PoS and superblocks (much like your VGB protocol, which has already been around for quite some time.)
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 15, 2013, 07:14:01 AM
It's not the community that attacks a coin.  It's the community that you want to buy into the coin.  Attacking it usually only happens when 1-2 people don't like (well in this case I think it's you, not the coin).

You are ticking people off left and right.  It doesn't matter at ALL if the coin is Scrypt or SHA256.  When you tick off the miners, they stop mining for you, thus anyone that you slapped in the face can easily take out your coin.

Now you have a few programmers actually fighting to keep your coin alive for you.  Do your best to not to talk much for a while until things cool down.  Or there really won't be much left of the coin.  If the attack had stopped it was probably because the rumour was out there that you were out of the picture.   Now that you announced your back in full force, I expect the bombings to continue.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 15, 2013, 07:01:24 AM
LMAO he still has no idea what that means.  And for the love of god.  You wanted people to buy into your coin.  But at the same time your constantly saying you want it to be attacked and killed.  Looks like you got what you were asking for, even with it being a Scrypt coin.  Better luck next time.

424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 15, 2013, 06:39:58 AM
Wow did Vlad rub someone the wrong way so badly that someone is actually trying to take the coin down before the premine has even finished???  Is that a new record?
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 15, 2013, 06:12:08 AM
Cool, some of my faith in this coin is restored.  Now for the love of god.  After the programming is changed up, can we get a better coin pic.  I named the coin after gold nuggets.  Only to see a joke coin pic???  with Chicken McNuggets on it being used.  Lol, just glad things are being cleaned up.

I wish Vlad the best.  But hope he takes the time to spend some time thinking about all the things he did wrong this time around before he launches his next coin.  And when he does it next time, I hope he does it under the influence of alcohol.  He was way to stressed out, fighting a battle we told him he would be against and that he would never win.  (IE getting everyone's praise on here for premine's)  A 2% pool and a Developers Donation Fund, and he could have gotten a lot more Nuggets with no headaches (well aside from the rushing out with a coding error)
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 15, 2013, 05:38:11 AM
Lol, I wouldn't exactly blame the programmers.  They did the entire thing on a rush.  Lets not forget less then 48 hours ago, launching a coin to cash in on a pile of people coming and jumping on any alt coin they could find was just a concept.  Somehow that went to worrying the programmers stold his idea less then 24 hours ago, to today, him rushing out the coin before his second programmer even had a chance to proof read it.   Lol, looks like it has been proof-read now.

Also anyone else notice quite a few PoW/PoS coins released yesterday with Superblocks?   Lol, he said it couldn't be done with his VGB protocol messing up the PoS part of it.

427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 15, 2013, 04:36:02 AM
LMAO I just re-read that announcement,  Why would he tell people openly that the Developer running this ship took 48 hours to figure out how to turn on his miner.  If that doesn't kill confidence, I don't know what will.

That and I am not sure where he meant by the last part of his statement in the announcement.  First he claims he will be working on his coin 16 hours a day.  Then in the announcement, he states, come on everyone, it's time you start making improvements to this coin and make it your own???  Is he expecting us to all start developing his coin for him?
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 15, 2013, 04:21:21 AM
Lol, almost an hour and still only 1/3 of the way to the blocks that give any rewards. This is going really well for you, huh, Vlad

Yeah, asshole, i don't have a single coin from all the work and money I put in this coin. And when I do get my .5% premine I'll be site to publicly shove it up your ass so you can finally stop moaning about it like I got rich or something.  Assholes of the first degree.

I've been on here all day.

Time for me to take a break and spend a little time with my kids you ungrateful jackasses.

Kill this fucking coin - I don't give a fuck.  Nothing but a bunch of Babies.  You all want a great coin but you only know how to bitch.

Fuck you!

I'm out!

LMAO.  I told him from the beginning, to not keep announcing the premine to everyone.  He stated, that he would not be bothered by anyone judging his actions, and that he would laugh through it.  Now this coming out of his mouth about 48 hours later.  Sheesh.  And here I was thinking people were going easy on him.  Lol, I would hate to see what he would do if he was attacked like a few other dev's that premined their portion.  People have said ALOT worse then anything that's been said to him.  But I have never seen a developer react this way.  Guess I won't bother mining this one after all.  I don't mine for jerks.  And to think he wanted to release the Catholic Coin.

That and his top secret never heard of before idea that gives to everyone equally, that had to be thought of my an economist because no programmer could ever come up with it idea, was the old, already used up superblock idea.   Which does absolutely nothing for small miners whatsoever aside from buy them a lotto ticket, where the big miners get 1000X the tickets given to them.  (Changes the odds in the small miners favor while not hurting the big miner.  LMFAO.)
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 15, 2013, 03:05:06 AM
So what does Vlad's Gb do for pools?  Since most small miners mine only on pools.  I guess award a pool the superblock, which would then be funneled down to  award the big miners a lot, and the small miners a tiny fraction.  Lol.  I had so much more hope then a Luckycoin clone.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 15, 2013, 02:53:09 AM
LMAO, Yeah he just helped the big miners in a HUGE way.  LOL.  Since a big miner will usually hit a far larger % of the blocks.  Oh well, guess it's like hitting the lottery for the small miners.  And a regular jackpot for the big guys.  Good job getting it launched.  Now I hope you can work on the business aspect of the coin, and make your 0.5% worth something.  Lol, I'n not mad you premined.  Just the way you handled yourself while trying to sell it to everyone.

Get your programmer to set up a pool for you, and charge 2% there.  Then you will get an even bigger part of the pie, and no one will complain about it.

Edit:  Or did I misread that???  Is this giving to a miner randomly if they found a block or not, just that they were mining?

431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Coin Launch: Miner's Coin: Nuggets (NUGs) on: July 15, 2013, 02:38:41 AM
Vlad, when you keep making changes to an announcement, you really need to go back to the original post, and edit it with these changes.  Also change the tone, or your killing the coin yourself with your attitude.

Your a business man.  Treat this like a BUSINESS.  You don't open the door to your new store, and take out an advertisement saying "Anyone that shops here is a f'in idiot".  A business man of all people (Hell even the anti business geeks get it).  You have to try to sell it.  There are piles of coins launched everyday.  Rehashing your old problems isn't helping anyone.  Believe me we gave your coins a chance by voting against your ideas.  If you really wanted a poll, then you should be happy with the results.  If you had your mind set all along, then don't do any polls.

So back to the beginning.  Go to the announcement first post, click edit, and remove "This is a PoS coin with PoW (It's the other way around just so you know), but it's now a PoW Scrypt coin. Don't mention your wanting it to have been an SHA256 coin, and wtf don't mention you wanted it to be killed?Huh   Get rid of the 0% premine, and change to 1% premine with 0.5% going to bounties ect.  Don't keep advertising that premine.  Let it sweep itself under the covers.  Also in the coin announcement, this is when your supposed to be selling the VGB protocol.  Not sometime after it launches.  If you want the people to buy into your coin, and remember it's your invention, time to sell it, or you might have someone else copying the coin and "selling" VGB as his own, since you didn't actually say its yours.  Your betting everything up as you ace in the hole for launch.  But the coin won't take off for I long time, and anyone who hears of you invention won't pay to create their own copy now when they can get it free possibly tomorrow.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELP!!!!! Premining HELL - Need HELP!!! on: July 14, 2013, 06:07:13 PM
Yeah it surprises me.  Him being the "Business" man in the group.  Yet he fails at the most basic concepts of the Business end of a Cryptocurrency.  Figure out your target audience in whatever you are doing, and build the business towards them.

He calls himself a developer, and claims he will be here 16 hours a day developing his coin.  But he has no programming skills, so what is he going to be doing with his going adding new innovation 16 hours a day??  He targets his coin towards "miners", and not the Businesses that are actually need for the coin to take off.  Then calls his "Target" a bunch of greedy idiots.  What big business is going to take a coin named SantaCoin or CatholicCoin???  None.  That why we steered him away from his really cheesy named coins.  But instead of thanking us from him jumping head first into a hole, he tells us he did it for us, and we should be grateful.  Then we save him from a very bad idea in making a SHA256 coin in this day/age.  Again instead of thanking us for at least giving his coin a chance, he again tells us to be grateful for him being willing to change his ways.

Lastly, the average user on these forums are semi- anti alt-coin.  Against Premine and giving a developer a payment.  So instead of letting the premine/1% payout slide in with the announcement.  He asks this exact audience if they think its ok that he takes his 1% off the top.  If he didn't make a big wave about it, no one would have really noticed.  But he advertises that he is going against what everyone wants  LOL.

If he tried this on an alt-coin forum he might have gotten a bit more sympathy.  Oh well, I hope his other business ideas are worth something, because so far, his business side isn't doing very well.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Coin Made Especially for Miners. on: July 13, 2013, 02:34:55 PM
Lol, I keep telling you.  Everything here is copyable.  It's not if they are running away with your secret, that a different coin will pop in a week after yours.  In reality, if you idea is that good, 50 coins will pop the very next day with your VGB protocol.  Even if the programmers don't give it to anyone.  But don't worry.  If they are truly working on trying how to get your protocol working, they are going to be to busy to be reading forums.  And I am sure both of them have day jobs and go to sleep as well.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As Promised: HEADS UP! Miners' Coin Coming! on: July 13, 2013, 06:22:49 AM
Yeah I believe he is not the type that is looking to pump and dump.  As for truly wanting to help the little guy, that I am not 100% on yet, as he has been trying all kinds of ideas which he thinks might draw a lot of people.  Let's not forget his first few ideas, such as the Catholic Coin, which he himself said he wanted as he believed it would draw in a lot of Catholic miners to come mine for him.  He is trying to promote the coin as the "Miner's" coin, yet almost every coin the miners get 100% of the coins.  So how are we supposed to see getting less as a benefit to miners everywhere.  I think he means well with his idea of handing out bonuses to the little guys, but since he has already shown a lack of even the most basic concepts, I don't think he realises how easy it would be for people to "trick" the system into giving them multiple bonuses.  I still want to hear his idea of how his VGB protocol will automatically filter things like this out.

I do like the guy though.  But I have no idea why.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As Promised: HEADS UP! Miners' Coin Coming! on: July 13, 2013, 04:42:38 AM
I hope you realize, I am being critical on you because since I named the coin, I feel like I have a tie or lifeblood with it.  Not like it's mine or anything, but kind of like when you go on a summer vacation and meet your cousins that live 1000 miles away, that you knew existed, but you actually never met before.

Thus no matter how silly it is, I will more then likely mine it.  How much I will mine it is questionable, but I will def be mining it, so I am hoping to steer it away from having really wonky ideas.

The name came from brainstorming and a number of people had a hand in it.  Nuggets stuck and yes, if this coin takes off you get the honor for naming it.  I could have named it myself but I felt like a miner's coin should be named by miners - since the beginning I've been trying to do what's right and it seems like some people just hash away on me regardless of how hard I try to do what's fair and right by everyone.

Lol, I don't want any credit for it.  I just think it's cool I had some small tiny factor in it, and that alone makes me want to mine it.  And also to hope it doesn't die a fiery death.  But you really seem intent on watching it burn.  LOL.  Please name all these coins that developers are getting a cut on, and I wil show you a handful of coins that failed because they were created not by people who understand cryptocurrency, or how it can exist.  Instead you will see developers that came here because they heard cryptocurrency is the next bubble, and they want a get rich quick scheme. If you look at the cryptocurrencies that have actually made something of themselves, you will see a pile of coins where the developer is not taking any cut in "owning" the coin.  If you want to make money off people there are 2 ways that are totally acceptable by the community.  Set up a Coin Developer Donation Fund, and create a pool.  Pools charging 2% are accepted even though a lot of the pools run only under donations as well.

Dump the 10% plan.  It's only going to tick people off, and won't end up helping small miners as it is way to exploitable, and also centralizes a decentralised coin.  I still want to here what this big VGB idea is all about.  I really hope it's not a flop of an idea.  Hopefully the programmers will talk some sense into you if it sounds to screwy Smiley.

438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: c4n10's Alt-Coin Creation Service - Cheaper Than Hazard's!!! on: July 12, 2013, 10:48:34 PM
Lol, Vlad maybe you should watch this vid.  That's what I think of when I saw the name Muddafudda.   Lol, maybe he's just a big Psy fan.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASO_zypdnsQ

And yeah I have been telling him for the longest time to drop the 10% pool.  It's only going to break the coin.  He seems to believe a majority of the coins out there are taking far greater amounts.  At least we got him away from the 50% he was originally going to take.  Still not sure how the 1% extra to pay the developer is going to work out for him.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nibble Update - Price spike is Temporary and not of my doing - let me explain.. on: July 12, 2013, 07:33:24 PM
Oh well back to Bottlecaps for a bit.  I looked and I was getting 75% rejected shares.  Something is not working properly mining Nibble on 2 of the pools I have tried so far.  Oh well,  If you get it working like 95% of the other coins, people might come back.  Smiley  I might return after to see if I can help some more but at such a high number of rejects I don't even feel like I am helping you get to your goal.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nibble Update - Price spike is Temporary and not of my doing - let me explain.. on: July 12, 2013, 07:19:02 PM
Actually the way things are going, I might not have to worry about selling any Nibble.  Lol, something seems very screwy with this pool.  Lol, maybe that's why everyone left your coin???  Anyways maybe I have really bad luck, but I seem to have almost half the total network hashrate.  Helped you find 20 blocks now according to the block explorer.  And the reward is 50 Nibbles per block.  I would guestimate at normal luck, I would have found about 10 of those 20 blocks, so would have approx. 500 Nibbles.  But as of right now I have received 0.65033375 Nibbles.  Huh  Not sure where that number came from.  Oh well it's a good thing I am not helping for the money, or I would really be questioning this.  But I would look into it, as it may explain where everyone else went.
