I am having this problem with my 2nd batch neptune's and suspect it might be the fans not being the same as the first batch. I would love to find someone as well who is still making the kits so i can put fins on all my VRM's but that doesn't look its going to happen unless I get really crafty which I am not good at doing.  why would you think the fans would be the problem? You can do you own cooling and disconnect all the fans that it came with So what do you think the problem is? |

Hate to install the GUI for ubuntu so I can see where I was at for the block on bitcoin-qt as for some reason I couldn't get an update from bitcoind that I might make a shortcut to run p2pool.

Bitcoin Core works for bitcoind. You can also use Bitcoin ABC or Bitcoin Unlimited if you want to mine Bitcoin Cash.
Another line needs to be added before twisted is installed. sudo apt-get install pypy-setuptools |

Can I mine bitcoin case using a SHA256 ASIC? I haven't been mining in quite a long time. lol The 'sudo apt-get update' did the trick. Your saying the code in the window is all of how to get p2pool going? Does the linux for Windows blow away what's currently installed or does it run in a virtual session like they did for Windows 7 with the XP emulator? My currently machine is joined to my home network domain, am I going to loose that too? Thanks, |

smoothrunnings, if you're planning on mining Bitcoin with p2pool, I strongly advise using pypy instead of regular Python. Mining with regular Python will usually result in CPU overload, which will reduce your revenue by 20-40%. This is true both for jtoomimnet and for mainnet. Disregard the vps.forre.st it is a known issue, probably resolved when jtoomin gets the main code updated with forrest permission.... right now there are two versions on p2pool running main and jtoomin

Is is possible to run P2Pool on 64bit versions of Python, etc??
Both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Python should work. I don't think I've tested with 32 bit versions before, though. I am running Windows 10 x64 v1709 spectre patched. When I try to install the wraper it doesn't see Python installed because the app is looking for the 32bit installation of Python and it's location. Do I still need the wraper? -- On a different note. I started over, this time I installed the 32bit versions of everything on Windows 10 x64 v1709 Spectre patched. I getting an error with the twisted. I am using Python 17.0. It can't find vps.forre.st when I check it against Google, L3, and open DNS public DNS server they too can't find it. Safe to ignore? There is no mention or update on the first post...

The cover page to P2Pool doesn't say anything about needing to run 32bit versions of everything or if 64bit versions can be run. Is is possible to run P2Pool on 64bit versions of Python, etc??
Has anyone done a how-to?

Those are special cables all right.... Sandoz Laboratories probably makes those cables :-) Do they go all the way to a modular power supply?
Uhmm all I can tell you is I had to tell the guy where I bought mine from which PSU they were plugging into as the modular connectors to the PSU aren't always the same. I use two EVA SuperNova 1500's at home. |

Mine I think are Shakmods too. I just remember the guy who was selling them was selling them in metric and I accidentally bought the shorter ones which work.

I wonder if you could boost up the voltage, I mean hell they aren't overheating :-)
And how are you keeping from melting the plugs. 220w/cube is heavy load with Titans, you're pulling 300 (it's more than 300)
I bought special cables off here. They are thicker gauge wires. |
