8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do think about skill games? on: October 17, 2020, 05:03:00 AM
In gambling there is no such thing as skill and more precisely how our luck from day to day, is not the same as coin price analysis in terms of trading that we can learn from time to time, in terms of pure gambling how luck is on our side, there are times when only one the experiment we immediately got a jack pot, but on the other hand, when we have tried many times, we never got a jack pot because we haven't had any luck at all. I have also tried the mines game on stake, still the analysis I use can always be defeated by their game system, from here we conclude that the skill in the gambling game is absolutely from luck on our side or not.

I also think that some sort of luck is always required in gambling. Many rummy sites in India are operating just with excuse that they are providing skill based games. Prediction based games are also able to run with this excuse only in India.

However, if the games are fair , I do not have problem with these games. For this purpose, one must ensure that he is playing on a trusted site with good reviews. There are many such sites advertising on this forum itself and one can choose as per his interests.
9  Other / Meta / Re: Copper membership cost on: October 16, 2020, 06:32:29 PM
Does buying a copper membership allow you to join a signature campaign quicker?
Most of the bounty campaigns allow them and count copper membership as the equivalent of member rank I guess. Haven't visited the bounty section for a while now but IIRC, I saw some bounties do that back in the days.
There's posting gap limitations with newbie rank, PM restrictions with newbie rank. Some people are joining here to trade things and they can take the opportunity.

I do not think that copper members will be allowed in campaigns just because they paid $22. Otherwise, we will see a lot of spam there based on this. Even if you have seen some copper members getting accepted in the programs , it might be because they also had the required number of quality posts or merits to get accepted in that particular signature campaign.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Patience above all will be rewarded here on: October 16, 2020, 06:30:12 PM
And what do you mean by "going to the moon"? In your opinion, the main goal of bitcoin is to grow in price? Then you are the same clown you are talking about.

That is not what I think the founders wanted it to achieve. However, we cannot deny the fact that the popularity bitcoin and other coins received is mainly because of the manifold increase in price only. A lot of people started investing seeing the returns or price growth only.

However, after the recent dips , one can say that it does need a lot of patience to remain profitable with bitcoin investment.

I think I'll have another 1-2 people accepted tomorrow or Saturday. The nice part about all this discussion is that there are a lot less applications (looking at page count) than there actually are  Tongue

Well deserved. Hard work never goes in vain.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Say btc is Not ponzi but its look like ponzi on: October 08, 2020, 07:27:53 AM
How anyone who Say Can proof Bitcoin is not ponzi?

There is More proof and evidence that it is ponzi.

I Don't mind If its ponzi but i Don't want to exit too late but not too early so When is best time to exit?

Accusation without proof ?

May be you suffered some loss with crypto and thus you are blaming it now as ponzi. Bitcoin shares no characteristics of a ponzi scheme. There is no benefit of adding more members or referring members to bitcoin. This is something which is necessary in ponzi scheme.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question: Is there any websites where I can gamble crypto under 18? on: October 08, 2020, 07:26:06 AM
Most gambling platforms doesn't really check if your underage, unless they have KYC but Crypto gambling sites doesn't require those even among the popular one's casino or sports bookie. There aren't any laws too for crypto gambling sites to ban teenager from entering, so you can play and access the games anytime you want.

This might sound harsh to you but it can result in lot of legal problems in future. Especially if the person becomes popular in future or is involved in some other crime which involves investigation of past online activities. Many such cases have occurred in past and covered in media.

This is why I will suggest OP to stay away from any online activity that it illegal.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people keep playing unlicensed, illegal slot machines? on: October 06, 2020, 12:57:21 PM
Never played on such a machine so cannot comment on how much rigged it can be. One of the reasons people might prefer to play there is easy availability. Since, people like to prefer things they have easy access to, they might be choosing these machines.

15  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 Vaccine Will Cause Bitcoin Crash on: October 06, 2020, 12:52:46 PM
I do not think that bitcoin prices are going to crash followed by Corona vaccine discovery. Small dips might be there but there will not be crash at all.

Also, we are very distant from finding effective Corona vaccine. China has succeeded in its target by affecting the economies of the world with corona and may do similar attempts in near future.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Enough is enough! Good bye Bitcoin! on: October 06, 2020, 12:50:25 PM
Sorry for your loss. But no one has control over legal aspect in your country. Most of the exchanges give some time before shutting down operations to move coins or sell them though. If you had followed news, you would not have incurred so much loss.

In future, if your country, makes crypto legal again, you can consider investing in it for long term and make good profit.

18  Other / Meta / Re: Don't send PMs begging for merits. on: October 04, 2020, 02:17:47 PM
It is sad to see that a member has to remind newbies regarding this even after so much time the new system was enforced. I mean if someone has not understood or accepted the new system that ranks members based on merits, he should consider other platforms.

By begging for merits, one will only worsen his situation like he might get on the ignore list of reputed members or merit sources.
19  Other / Meta / Re: The implications of using another user system to login account. on: October 04, 2020, 02:15:33 PM
If you are concerned regarding breaking forum rules by using system of another member, I do not think that there any such rule prohibiting this. But still, you should avoid this because:

1) It can result in legal issues later. If you are using the system of another member and his internet connection, it means you are sharing his IP. If he does something illegal using the same IP, you may also be in trouble.

2) Your own account may get compromised in some cases like he has software installed for recording the logs.
