Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency helping spread child sexual abuse?

It does probably make it easier for them to collect payments, but without cryptocurrencies, would they stop? I don't think so. They're just going to look for another alternative.
See, no matter what technology, criminals and sickos can always take advantage of them. Cars can be used for getaway vehicles for thieves. Mobile phones can be used to detonate bombs and such. Guns for murdering. The list goes on.

They can only make unpleasant rumors and this really makes news that should not happen. The bank is still a good trust, and will continue to be a safe depository. Crypto is an investment tool besides money in the bank, crypto provides good benefits if it is able to manage and use.

Economy / Exchanges / Re: Payment method
|

For instance if you don't expect less than a couple of payments per month then going with a payment processor like Bitpay may not be the best idea. setting up a simple light (SPV) wallet such as Electrum and accepting payments that way is a much easier option. you can print out the QR code of a single address and stick it in front of the cashier with a bitcoin is accepted here sign so that if anyone wanted they can pay that way. if it is more number of payments then you may want a more elaborate setup and possibly think about setting up a full node instead of an SPV wallet and generate a new address for each payment. and if it is a lot of payments and you want the fiat equivalent so that you never have to worry about the fluctuations but also if you are ok with the fees they take from you then use Bitpay.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea Opens Doors for Cryptocurrency

Most of the countries will start off by calling bitcoin things like "commodity" and then setting taxes like this, sometimes higher than it should be and some other countries will see its true nature and see it as a "currency". in the end the best way is to take taxes from the investors on exchanges and remove taxes from it for those who use it as a currency. basically something like Japan with a lower tax.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Doesn't Have to Be Perfect
|
on: November 10, 2018, 04:20:12 PM
|
The greatest suspicions and alleged remarks on the blockchain really reflect all the hypocrisies of this world. The blockchain is expected to be perfect while at the same time the traditional system has more holes than patches. Why would it be necessary for the blockchain to be perfect while everything else is in complete disarray? We really do not have to be disturbed by such remarks, but only to work on improvements. Blockchain has the potential to improve important problems in society's economic architecture and it leaves very little room for deceptions and unfair evaluations. That's where the problem begins for the traditionalist. The impossibility of speculation and false assessment, the misuse of all kinds, which are usually done at the expense of ordinary people, terrify them the most. We don't need to be concerned about whether the blockchain is perfect, but to improve it and make it better and the rest is unavoidable

No, its hard to understand in the first time you heard things about bitcoin, but of course you will not stop from that because if you really want to fully understand bitcoin you will use all the resources you have just to learn more about bitcoin.
We all experience a hard times reading lot’s of numbers in this market, but we are here now still buying and selling and this is a result of hard work and patience, beginners must wear this kind of willingness and don’t give up easily.

This is not the first time we have been in this kind of situation. We have been in worst situations before, like after the Mt. Gox heist wherein the price suddenly plummeted and all hope was lost. The bear market went on for like a year or two, but hodler didn't give up during that hard times and we see that after a couple of years, bitcoin started to recover and the price push to its all-time-high last year ($19k++). So yes, we will see bitcoin growing again, its just a matter of time.

I've just realized that I’m supposedly more recognized than Ver and Andersen, lol! I’ve got a Recognition Rank of 824. Other people can set up another site with other parameters too, but any system is going to have some flaws. Vod has done a great job and it is clear that the system favors members who are active now.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become currency a new State?

Bitcoin is used more and more in time to lead to the knowledge of people for bitcoin, but bitcoin can hardly become a currency in one country due to its instability and not security. People will think that some kind of fraud and plagiarism are, but the risk of losing their wealth in bitcoin is also high.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: selling bitcoin is a stupid decision ?

In the case of the fall of Bitcoin, the stupid decision is to sell bitcoin, but still if we buy bitcoin at a cheaper price than sales we are certainly in profit, so 30% sell 70% not to sell, but it all depends on the price of bitcoins.

it is very difficult that bitcoin will reach zero if at least it falls to $ 5,000 but if people who guarded bitcoin would fall, they would now commit suicide because it was big enough
