1942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: September 12, 2022, 09:38:55 PM
Is it possible to invest 100$ in altcoin and turn to 7,000$? Have this ever happened to anyone on here? Is this even possible?.

There are hundreds of live examples of your question. If we tried to create a list, we would have to spend a lot of time. Cryptocurrency market is very much in demand by new investors because it has these and similar opportunities, but to seize such an opportunity, you need to do a very good market research or have the patience to wait for a long time after investing in a few different projects with high potential. Otherwise, you are much more likely to experience great disappointments.

In addition, it is necessary to follow the trends well. For example, when privileged categories such as Defi or Metaverse sector start to become popular for the first time, we need to quickly revise our investments in line with the flow of the market. In fact, this tactic does not always work, but it is one of the best ways to keep the pulse of the market. I didn't get good returns from the few web 3.0 projects I've invested in, but I don't regret my moves. I wish you good luck.
1943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: September 12, 2022, 09:04:06 PM
I have said many times before that Beşiktaş needs a defensive player who can play in the middle of the defense. For this reason, we are losing points... Even if you bring the best striker in the world to this team, even if you score 3 goals in every match, if you make such simple mistakes (https://www.beinsports.com.tr/mac-ozetleri-goller/super-lig/goller/2022-2023/6/istanbul-basaksehir/bertrand-traore-29112), you will lose points. No need to blame others like a mentally ill schizophrenic. It should also be mentioned that Necip is a very important football player of Beşiktaş. He is someone who has risen from the club's infrastructure and struggled for the team's crest for years, but he should no longer be in the first 11 on the field.
1944  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin will always remain the best choice on: September 12, 2022, 08:43:25 PM
There are clear and obvious reasons why we prefer Bitcoin, but I think its most important features are portability and divisibility. Today's world has relatively convenient and comfortable facilities compared to the past, but world history has not always hosted such lucky periods. If we make predictions about what we might encounter in bad times, we can better understand the portable and divisible properties of Bitcoin.
1945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is web3 scam? on: September 12, 2022, 08:21:10 PM
Hello,
Is web3 scam? How about https://web3isgoinggreat.com/?
Is web3 vs Blockchain?

Thank you.

Web 3.0 is of course not a scam. Also, I couldn't find the opportunity to review the website you suggested. I don't want to comment about it.

To briefly explain Web 3.0, the Internet world initially only allowed its users to read. We used to read simple html news sites. Then, we said hello to Web 2.0 with interactive social media sites. I don't need to tell you what we are going through in this world. A simple example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Facebook%E2%80%93Cambridge_Analytica_data_scandal Today, Web 2.0 centralized applications that use our data are being replaced by decentralized applications with Web 3.0 technology. For example, the words we type in the search bar will no longer be shown to us as advertisements or if they are shown to us as advertisements, we will earn money in return.

1946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital currency , cashless Society and the place of Religion part 2 on: September 11, 2022, 11:51:13 PM
All heavenly religions command to distribute wealth to the poor. Today's financial world commands to save more money. There is a completely conflicting situation. I guess whatever we do today we can't reverse the established idea. We can get more accurate results if we try to talk about these issues when the conspiracy theories predicting the collapse of the financial system are realized. :) Today's historical conditions are not mature enough to talk about such matters. We can get into an argument that we can't get results.
1947  Economy / Economics / Re: Which city deserves to be the blockchain capital? on: September 11, 2022, 11:27:30 PM
My vote is for Singapore. They have a great success story. Every time I look at their history, I am impressed. In just 30 years, they have done great work with an innovation-based growth model. I think this small country that has managed to become an important part of the financial world can also succeed in becoming the capital of the cryptocurrency world. Also, I would not say no to a commemorative coin to be minted in memory of Lee Kuan Yew. :)
1948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty programs or airdrops more profitable to participate in? on: September 11, 2022, 11:07:36 PM
I see airdrops that reward early supporters like Uniswap as very successful trials. I think these types of airdrops are point-and-shoot jobs. Instead of useless people who abuse airdrops with bots and multi accounts, people who trust projects and support them early are rewarded. This is definitely a very clever method. I continue to participate in bounty and airdrops whenever possible. I don't care if they are profitable or not. I am in this market. They are also in this market. We find each other somehow. :)
1949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most of ALTCOINS are dead or worthless? on: September 11, 2022, 10:41:50 PM
I largely agree with your opinion, but if the regulators start to intervene in this market, everything could get worse. There are a lot of scams coins today, but we also have experience. Our experience will be useless if the regulators take over this market tomorrow, because our area of freedom may face many restrictions. I am in favor of the continuation of the current market conditions.
1950  Economy / Economics / Re: India as a developed country by 2047 on: September 11, 2022, 10:26:02 PM
Hmm... And what's wrong with the changes that lead to progress?
...

The bourgeois revolution carried out by the happy few in Iran did not give the Iranian people anything. On the contrary, the wealth belonging to the Iranian people was given to others by the collaborationist bourgeois revolutionaries. Please try typing TP-AJAX into Google.

...
The ideal in the USSR was Lenin and the Communist Party - as a result, tens of millions of their citizens were killed, the destinies of hundreds of millions were crippled, the degradation of countries affected by this bastard ideology and ideals.
...

I read Animal Farm by George Orwell when I was 8 years old. I am not a socialist (I believe in a free market economy) but if I am forced to choose between fascists and socialists, I will choose socialists. The problem is not capitalism, we do not have a second option other than capitalism, the problem is that the resources belonging to the people are collected in "a snobbish group that thinks they are elite".

...
Although ... I do not deny that you like it so much, for example Afghanistan - took and chose the path: "forward to the Stone Age!" and they are so good :)
...

You're accusing me of something I didn't say. I think our talk should end here because I don't want to act like you. Thank you. Also, I have to add that the probability of improvement of the Taliban is higher than that of the colonialists. The lesser evil...

Back on the topic, the number of people living on $2 a day or less during the pandemic has increased by 75 million.

Quote
Meanwhile, the number of people who are poor in India (with incomes of $2 or less a day) is estimated to have increased by 75 million because of the COVID-19 recession. This, too, accounts for nearly 60% of the global increase in poverty.

Modi raises the morale of the people of India by creating promising projections for the years when many Indian citizens will not be alive. I think he is doing the right thing because the peoples of the east have the appropriate social ground for these policies. Greetings to the people of India.
1951  Economy / Economics / Re: MONEY IS THE MOTIVATING FACTOR, what do you think? on: September 10, 2022, 11:59:18 PM
...

Money has the power to buy everything. We can do anything we want if we have enough money. It sounds crazy.

However, our desires are unlimited, our needs are limited. People with a lot of money can make wrong choices by confusing their needs with their desires. Even if they have enough money, they may make very wrong choices because there is no way to satisfy their desires. In such cases, money can be a bad leader, but the concept of money that we use in daily life is an irreversible threshold engraved in the history of humanity. I don't know how we got here, but I do know that from here on, we can try to talk about how we can be fairer.
1952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest mistake in crypto? on: September 10, 2022, 11:44:34 PM
I had negative thoughts about Defi's. Borrowing is still no different from leveraged trading, but if we ever succeed in converting our real-life assets into collateral on the blockchain, borrowing could take on a whole new dimension. We must not miss the world of tomorrow from today. As we realize our mistakes, we gain new perspectives. The important thing is to learn from our mistakes and not repeat them.
1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This makes sense or not? on: September 10, 2022, 11:33:35 PM
There is already a known counterpart to this method. Buy the rumor sell the news. Rumor: With Merge, Ethereum will become a more valuable network. News: Merge moment.

Especially in airdrops and similar events, prices start to show a downward trend before the event. If you expect a decline after Merge, you may consider making the sale earlier, because people with similar expectations may take action before you do. Please do not take my comments as investment advice. Also, you can see what happened at previous big events by examining the graphs. Thus, you can make a more accurate decision. I wish you good luck.
1954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum (ETH) on Its Way to $2,100, Top Trader Says ! on: September 10, 2022, 11:04:01 PM
I personally don't make long-term investments because I don't know if I will live tomorrow. :) According to my understanding of life, living in the moment is more important. If I were to make a long-term investment, I could buy solid cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum at almost any price. To exaggerate a bit, I can't see a price difference between $500 and $2000 at the end of the long run.
1955  Economy / Economics / Re: India as a developed country by 2047 on: September 10, 2022, 10:47:39 PM
...
Or here's another example - Iran, compare the progressive Iran of the 60-70s, and what it has become ....
So everything is possible :)

Progressive Iran of the 60s and 70s? :) What community can the bourgeois revolutions advance? What do bourgeois revolutions do other than create a handful of elites and capitalists? Iran is certainly not an ideal state in my eyes, but the bourgeois revolutionaries are nothing but snobbish people who look down on their own society. That is why they have failed all over the world. :)

The whole world is going through difficult conditions caused by the pandemic. We have to have great ideals to overcome the difficult conditions we live in. For this reason, we need to convey our ideals to the public in an objective format by preparing projections that shed light on the following years. Otherwise, we may show psychological reactions that will make us stop resisting the difficulties of life as a society.

When I evaluate the agenda in this direction, I think that the Indian government is following the right policy. I don't care if their targets will be successful or not. I think they took advantage of the classical eastern politics.
1956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Run and Bear Market on: September 09, 2022, 11:49:01 PM
This is a simple question, When this bearish market end and Bull run start.
Thanks

There is usually a period of accumulation before the bull season. In this period, the prices follow a quiet course and do not fluctuate much. Most of the investors in the market get bored of waiting during this period and sell their coins at a loss. It's not that simple, but that's more or less how we can explain the start of the bull season... Before the bear season, the mainstream media changes its previous behavior 180 degrees and starts to make news every day praising Bitcoin. Even the peddler on the street tells you about Bitcoin. You would be the person who talks the least about Bitcoin. That's when you might start to think that bear season is coming... Instead of all this, you can also try to learn a little technical analysis. It takes some time to learn, but you will make more accurate and sharp decisions. I wish you good luck. :)
1957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which meme coin is your favourite on: September 09, 2022, 11:24:15 PM
Between Baby Doge and Shiba inu which one do you feel is right for long term hold? Is there any fan of Baby Doge here? Do you think Baby doge can bring better gains than Shiba already did in near future.

I have negative thoughts towards memecoins. I consider them as projects that do not have any features, are copies of each other and do not add innovation to the ecosystem. I would never invest in this or similar cryptocurrencies. But I still like Dogecoin a little bit. If I ever made the mistake of investing in a memecoin, it would definitely be Dogecoin. Maybe I can invest in it because it has a strong community, is the first memecoin, and is supported by popular people like Elon. However, I must admit that I always prefer to use my investments in better and more solid opportunities.
1958  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Russia Emerge As The Next Dominant Superpower on: September 09, 2022, 11:07:36 PM
International relations have gained new dimensions with various concepts in each period. I think we will hear more frequently in the coming years the concepts in which regional power actors come to the fore. In this context, I think the era of global hegemonies is over. After that, we may not see another country like the USA that can be the dominant power alone. We are now entering a new political era in which regional actors come to the fore, and we must admit that Russia is a very powerful regional actor. Countries such as Russia, China, India, Türkiye and Iran act with the desire to be playmakers for their own interests. Polyphony can make noise, and it can also create wealth. My only wish is to enter a period where cooperation is preferred over conflict, but for now we cannot say that things are going very well...
1959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT's hype over? on: September 09, 2022, 10:49:51 PM
I think NFT is a questionable area... You know that in real life some artworks find buyers at exorbitant prices. We all know that such events are actually a dirty money exchange. NFTs have a similar problem... But no matter what, NFTs will continue to be used in GameFI systems, land registry and cadastral planning, supply chain and logistics services, and other products for which we can specify ownership. I think NFTs will one day provide very important services in real-life usage areas. We will not give up using trains just because they made weapons out of iron. :)

Also, if you want to check out more statistics about NFTs, you can visit https://www.theblock.co/data/nft-non-fungible-tokens/nft-overview

1960  Economy / Economics / Re: Fuel prices hitting an eight year high on: September 08, 2022, 11:25:09 PM
We encounter similar scenarios all over the world. We see the same news everywhere from the USA to China because the name of the crisis we are in is the energy crisis. The supply problem that started after the Covid virus prevented us from using the production tools efficiently. This opened the door to a period in which we could not produce as much energy as we consume. Everything looks like a storm that breaks one after another. But the preparer of this storm is a small virus. It's a tiny virus that cannot be seen with the naked eye. I guess this is what they call the butterfly effect.
