1446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: betting against the Public, is this strategy working? on: January 16, 2023, 02:21:40 PM
It is not a method I would prefer. In my opinion, all gambling (including sports events) is largely an event of chance, but nevertheless, I aim to use even the smallest detail of information in all my bets. For example, if I'm going to predict the outcome of a match, I look at the squads of the teams in that match and their performance in the last matches and then make a decision. Other methods are not my preferred methods.

Roma made a great win yesterday night and Dybala was the star of that game by scoring 2 goals and dominating the game completely.Of course their job was made easy when the defender of Fiorentina got a red card early in the game which completely impacted Fiorentina way of playing.
It looks like Paulo Dybala is starting to find his best performance again, after scoring a brace in that match he also played a very important role in securing 3 points for AS Roma. Since the last time at the world cup he was only sitting on the bench finally I was able to see again the action on the full field last night.
what I like most about from jose mourinho is that he has a great leadership spirit and will push all the potential players he coaches to show their best skills, with the 2 goals scored by Dybala. roma, lazio and atalanta compete (because the three points are the same) to get into the top 5.

Mourinho is definitely interested in every player and contributes to their development, but if I remember correctly, he missed Kevin De Bruyne and Mohammad Salah when he was Chelsea coach. While he was coaching Chelsea, Kevin De Bruyne was sold to Wolfsburg and Mohammad Salah to Roma. Also, I think it's very difficult to be a striker on his team as he likes to use defensive tactics. So, a football player who has a good goal average statistic for his team may have the potential to score much more goals for another team.

These late winners are huge boost for big clubs. A lot of the time they found a way to score and pressure comes with results. Valencia did that today for Fenerbahçe. He's a top striker, 15 league goals in 15 games, 1 per game, great statistics. Scoring a winner in extra time is more precious of course.
Fenerbahçe could've lost two points today. I'm sure Galatasaray fans were devastated. They almost got whole psychological advantage. Still a long way to go though.

Great teams know how to win even when they play badly. Points earned by last-minute goals give them time for the following weeks... Fenerbahçe won the game this week with a last minute goal, and gave Jorge Jesus time to make up for his mistakes. If Jorge Jesus uses this treat well, he will be able to keep his team at the top in the following weeks.

By the way, Aboubakar's transfer to Beşiktaş is almost certain. Aboubakar will join the team once Al-Nassr terminates his contract. I'm a little angry at him for what he's done to us before, but he's the king of this league. If he makes us champions again, I can forget everything. :)

Most supporters of Man City believe the game was rigged in favor of Man UTD but I'd not know that since in football, one has to lose some and win some. I enjoyed the performance of Ten Haag's men and it was quite refreshing to see they where not daunted by the presence of the Citizens' golden boy(Haaland), but instead blocked all the attempts they made.
I could see the frustrated look on Pep's face knowing they were going to not just lose three points, but also another chance to win in a Manchester derby.

I have been supporting Manchester City for several years, I can say that I am a Manchester City fan. Actually, since I'm not an Englishman, I'm not as passionate a Manchester City fan as they are, but I still support the team and the players. Similar referee mistakes happen in every league. I did not see any ulterior motives in the decisions of the referee who directed the Manchester United match. In Manchester United's first goal, Rashford's position was like an offside but overall I think the referee managed the game well. I think Pep should want a midfield transfer with strong defensive skills. We can't win the season by making excuses about the referees.

The latest transfer rumors come from Al-Nassr who seems to be interested in signing goalkeeper Keylor Navas from PSG. We know Keylor Navas was also one of Cristiano's former teammates at Real Madrid for several seasons. Will Keylor Navas leave PSG this season and join Al-Nassr? what do you think?

David Ospina is currently playing for Al-Nassr and he is two years younger than Keylor Navas. I think they are both equally good players. If David Ospina wants to leave the team by his own choice, Keylor Navas would be a good transfer instead... Goalkeepers can play football for many years. Buffon comes to mind first for me. He is now 44 years old and plays in Series B. Until a few years ago, he was playing for important clubs in Europe.
1451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 15, 2023, 10:05:32 PM
Roma was a bit lucky today when Fiorentina played with 10 players obviously not difficult to get 3 points especially they play at home and they are ready to go to the European League zone. And in other matches Atalanta won 8-2 which I think the most goals in 1 match this season lol, strangely, 7 goals scored by 7 different players only Ademola who scored 2 goals.

Even when Fiorentina were playing with 10 football player on the field, Mourinho pulled his double-decker bus onto the field. :) I admit that he is a special one, but I cannot understand this man. It is not an easy thing to complete the match with just one difference. There could be a surprise at any moment in the match and they could concede a goal. Fortunately, they scored the second goal and won the game with a comfortable score. Frankly, I find Mourinho successful because he is an extraordinary person, but now he should make some updates to the game system.
1452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is investing in ethereum safe? on: January 15, 2023, 09:15:05 PM
I think Ethereum is definitely one of the altcoins worth investing in. In the past, I did not find it right to invest in any coin other than Bitcoin for the long term, but when I saw the thousands of developers working on Ethereum and some of the needs of the industry, I understood that it is definitely a valuable asset. Also, I think the important thing here will be the distribution ratio of your portfolio. If you think you have enough Bitcoin, it wouldn't be a bad idea to buy some Ethereum. :)

Mass adoption of bitcoin won't happen that easier. It takes time and the adoption will happen in a much slower phase, because countries won't easily stop the usage of national currency and give way for bitcoin. Volatility is the attraction of cryptocurrencies, because the increased volatility keeps the market under high risk and high profiting. In reality more users love the volatility and that's the reason for them to be the part of cryptocurrency.

I partially agree with what you said but I didn't say there weren't people who liked high volatility. :) However, you should be sure that there are more people who are afraid of Bitcoin because of high volatility than people who like high volatility. Also, traders looking for excitement at high volatility can experience the same excitement by trading with leverage at low volatility. There are millions of people experiencing the same excitement in the EUR/USD parity. Traders looking for more excitement can use the classic methods. :)
1454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 15, 2023, 08:36:55 PM
PSG are having a really tough time against Rennes at times. Messi and Neymar have not been able to put their weight into the match. Mbappe and Hakimi are in the bench. Maybe Mbappe can come into the game in the second half and change things for PSG. If the second half of the match continues at this pace and Rennes scores a goal, PSG will lose points because they do not seem to be able to react to turn the match. Gianluigi Donnarumma's performance manages to keep them in the match. If Gianluigi Donnarumma had been a little bad today, they could have lost the game before the first half was over.

Beşiktaş started the match today with Mert's unfortunate moment, but they managed to win with a last minute goal. I like to see the details that make football more beautiful on the field. I think football is more beautiful thanks to these details.

Many of the problems we see today will be resolved when Ghezzal returns to this team. That's why I'm still hopeful. When he returns to the team, we will have more possession of the ball, so our midfielders will participate more in the attack and our defenders will face the attacks of the opponents less. He alone will change a lot in the team.
1456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your wishes for BTC in coming years? on: January 14, 2023, 10:39:12 PM
I want mass adoption to be complete and volatility to slow down. I think everything seen as a problem will be resolved once the mass adaptation is complete. That's why I see this as the most important issue. Other than that, I have full confidence in Bitcoin. One day sooner or later we will see the victory of Bitcoin. That's why I feel comfortable. Also, I feel lucky to witness an important moment in history and to be here with you.
1457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 14, 2023, 10:25:09 PM
I thought that Manchester City would not easily lose a game at the very top after the Haaland transfer this year. This was actually the case at the beginning of the season, and they showed this feeling with the game they played. But the points lost show that they are not invincible. I was saying that after the Everton draw, there might be occasional loss of points in the draw. Manchester United played a very different game today, they created a very comfortable position, there were many missed opportunities in the first half. Moreover, 1 goal was ahead City, Manchester United finished the match by scoring two goals in two minutes.

Actually, Mahrez and Bruyne really wanted to win the game today, but the rest of the team just couldn't keep up with them. Also, Manchester United's first goal was a controversial position in my opinion. Rashford may have entered the active area because he was moving towards the ball. However, there is no need to hide behind excuses. Pep Guardiola must come up with a solution to the unsuccessful results of the last weeks. Maybe he can redesign the midfield with stronger defensive players, maybe he can try a system where players like Bruyne and Mahrez play more freely on the field. I don't know what he should do, but he needs to do something urgently.

Another example: Adam Smith started the industrial revolution when he wrote The Wealth of Nations. :) There is no doubt that bloodless revolutions (democratic revolutions) are not few in number and Bitcoin is one of those revolutions... Satoshi was indeed a very intelligent person. He has made a great contribution to this world and this contribution will not be forgotten forever because he planted an idea in our minds, and someone who has this idea cannot easily give up on it. :)
1459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 13, 2023, 09:51:01 PM

Some rumors about Depay now seem to be starting to interest several clubs.
Since there have been rumors that several Barcelona players will be sold in order to save on current salary expenses, Depay has started to be looked at by several clubs.
Previously, there was the name Rome, now Depay was lyrics by Atletico.
...

I compare the fates of Depay and Aubameyang to each other. Both are very talented football players, but both could not show their talents fully. Maybe they didn't play in teams that could use the right strategies for them, maybe something else, I don't know, but they're both moving away from their prime now, and we haven't watched enough of them. Aubameyang probably won't be able to play for major teams again after the end of the season. Depay is a little younger than him, but it looks like his career will end in ways similar to Aubameyang's if he doesn't make good use of the opportunity at Atletico or at his next stop.
1460  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did Miss El Salvador cause the Bitcoin price to spike last night? on: January 13, 2023, 09:32:29 PM
I don't know if Miss El Salvador has raised the price of Bitcoin, but I'm sure she has raised other things. :) I always have the same opinion on such matters. Bitcoin will surely complete its mass adoption one day. It doesn't need anything. It will certainly achieve this thanks to its own characteristics. I have no doubt about it. However, I would always like to thank the people who contributed to the mass adoption of Bitcoin. Therefore, I thank Miss El Salvador for the things she has raised in me. :)
