441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all nations of the world started to use bitcoin on: April 20, 2017, 06:13:41 PM
If everyone in the world used Bitcoins then I would think that Bitcoins Blockchain will slow down some.

444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make governments accept bitcoin? on: April 20, 2017, 06:10:54 PM
If more people begin to see the payment speed of Bitcoin then I think that the Government would begin to accept Bitcoin as a Currency.

Not sure how you would get those charts unless you dig around the speculation board of this forum.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with Ripple? on: April 20, 2017, 06:08:00 PM
@joeydangerous I don't understand your sentance, I assume you wanted to compare Ripple to another cryptocurrency.
I think that he's talking about the price going up during 2013, it was $0.054 per XRP then the coin dumped down to $0.0028 per XRP.

449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How you pick your bets? on: April 14, 2017, 04:04:36 AM
Picking certain bets require a little bit of practice if the person that is gambling is pretty new to the gambling area. If I wanted to bet on specific game like Texas Hold 'Em then I would have to plan the whole gambling situation just so I would have the patience when sitting at the table with people I don't know to win the game. I don't have to do this with the other games because they require much less patience.
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If today was your last day, would you gamble everything? on: April 14, 2017, 02:31:41 AM
Nah, the whole going all in on a gambling bet is one of the worst things that someone could d if they knew that they were going to lose the match. Betting all in is just asking for the result to be bad so they could lose the whole bet and lose everything that they have so the gambler could move on to something new while trying to get rid of the negative emotions that they are having.
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: April 13, 2017, 10:21:43 PM
lol for some people the gambling matches and winnings is a relief when they get home and play online because it is then and only then when they get to relax and have time for themselves away from the wife, job, people, etc.
I am pretty sure that most people that get into gambling just like to try something new or something different (it might be a little illegal in most places and the rush just feels good when winning a large amount of money that nobody will know about).
452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: April 13, 2017, 07:08:26 PM
In my own experience greed is always there if you are gamble even you made a large amount of profit you will be still greed and continue to gamble because they are not satisfied what they had.. so be satisfied what you had and you can be control your greediness..
I know what you mean, if someone makes even a little bit of that amount that you described they will still want to gamble to make more. The amount of money doesn't mean anything to that type of gambler because once the greed sets the most important thing to them would be to have more of whatever the thing is. I am not so sure what part of the mind makes the person think like that because it does not happen to everyone -I mean it happens with a bunch of people just not everyone in the world. Some people just don't care for money as much as other people do.
453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: April 13, 2017, 11:40:56 AM
Trading a bunch of money will have to require a bunch of patience and that is what some of the people within this forum don't have. If there was a stock that allow people to make a bunch of money each day and the money was at least double the amount that they put in then I would trade instead of gamble in this case.
Gambling has a large risk so I wouldn't call it the same as trading because trading is usually filled with information that helps the price go in your favor.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: April 13, 2017, 07:06:41 AM
I don't really feel shameful about being a gambler only because I know that I could make money from it and I am not just wasting money on meaningless things. The whole purpose of gambling to me is having fun and while having fun the gambling experience has a learning course that is attached to it. Learning new things while gambling is also the reason why I tend to go back to gambling websites and gamble again since most of the gambling matches don't stay the same every day the new matches are interesting to watch.
455  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 11, 2017, 11:47:13 PM
I would invest the money instead of trading it depending on the situation. Bitcoin trading is a fast money thing and the money to risk ratio isn't that worth it compared to investing in something that will go up in value and is above 95% guaranteed to go up in value over time.
Something like investing in a safe haven investment is good to do while investing in stocks and trading with small amounts would be a wise decision.
456  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: April 11, 2017, 08:52:36 PM
young people have the best option to buy bitcoin if they still live with their parents and they don't spend their money for buying need in daily. i think its the best thing that young people can do to invest their money in bitcoin while they go to school or college, i think if they are finish their study and in that time, bitcoin price is increase, then i am sure that they will be rich by selling their btc. still this is an opportunity for young people for who realize about the new technology in front of them.
Yep that's a smart comment.
Most of the people like to use Bitcoin for weird things and have no idea why they have no money when the price goes up shouldn't be using Bitcoins. There's just a junk feeling that lurks around when discussing Bitcoin to someone younger, they will either not get it or somehow that feeling just hits you saying that this young person should've be doing what they wanted at that time instead of learning about Bitcoin then ruining their lives doing something wrong. Most of the people that use Bitcoin go to Jail for doing something bad, not all people that use Bitcoin go to Jail though so we have to be careful about explaining Bitcoin to someone with a less mature mindset.
457  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: April 11, 2017, 05:12:22 AM
Well, the question is really asks only one thing. Which one is less risky. The thing is trading and investment are almost same thing around as you are putting your money some where in an expectation that you will get good returns on it. The real answer to your question is how you wanna grow with the market. As you starting with less amount of money/bitcoins then you can save your bitcoin over your wallet (some of them pay interests also) and let the bitcoin grow in its self as the time is passing away. Once you find that you have plenty of bitcoins then you can either grab the profits or compound your bitcoins to trade market. Then it would be great choice to go with both of them.  Smiley
The risk is what it's about right? I mean investing in Bitcoin, Altcoins and other things that feature charts have a risk to it so I guess the question of how risky it is would usually be there secretly. Bitcoin trading is one of the important things that Bitcoin features only because if the Altcoin thing didn't exist then the price of Bitcoin would've been super expensive and only the wealthy elites would have had 1 BTC or more. I like to trade with Bitcoin because it gives the opportunity to make more Bitcoins.
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin saving on: April 09, 2017, 05:24:40 PM
Yeah im familiar with this so called 52 weeks challenge. We would recommend you to use bitcoins in this challenge. Also if you can do it the same time you can use fiats currency in saving to and deposit it to bitcoins. That will help you earn more ang bigger in 52weeks.

Yeah, a little bit of Bitcoins deposited into a Bitcoin savings Wallet goes a pretty long way. Many of the Altcoin guys here like to play gambling games and spend small amounts every so often though when they check their Bitcoin Wallet and total up the amount of Bitcoins that they spent, they'll see that if they would've kept their coins they would have more money than they started with. That 52 weeks challenge sounds pretty cool too.
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin saving on: April 09, 2017, 02:55:22 AM
Its really a good idea to save bitcoin for the future and yes it is a good investment and there are lots of users of it do treat it as an investment but we should not fully rely on it because there are instances that prices might crash in the future thats why we just save or buy only the amount we can afford to lose up.
It depends on the person's goal and when they need to gain more Bitcoin's. I've found most of Bitcointalk users and people on YouTube trying to giveaway some of their coins or trade them for something that will benefit them somehow. Most of them don't really want the money or they act like they don't want the money because they let most of their Bitcoins go when the price is real low.
Proper calculation shows that everyone that invested in Bitcoin at the right Bitcoin Exchanges when it was 2016 and under made money from having Bitcoin in their wallets.
