241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Name the coins you think can catch up with Bitcoin's price in the future? on: December 17, 2017, 10:08:27 PM
Will Ethereum be able to do it?

quite less chances.  but bitcoin cash may catch up price of 10k. bitcoin is now insanly expensive. it will not easy to catch bitcoin in price
Maybe Ethereum and Litecoin will have a higher rank than Bitcoin though the usage is much more less than Bitcoin.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: want to invest 5000usd on: December 17, 2017, 10:07:46 PM
if ypu want a good profit you must look a coins at 100-200 capitalization but its can be a risk
You have to watch what you're suggesting though, the price of the coin will be worth more USD (maybe) though the price will be much lower than the initial Bitcoin price.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2017-12-16] NEO May Replace Ethereum In Initial Coin offerings (ICO's) on: December 17, 2017, 09:05:02 PM

No matter what your stance is on initial coin offerings (ICOs), there’s no doubt that there will be more coming. But where many were and are built using the Ethereum technology, NEO is quickly becoming another viable option. Similar to Ethereum, NEO is targeting the ICO crowd. Even though it hasn’t been determined how far the law will go to intervene, NEO’s ICO template is built for people to take a look at. It seems like this will check all of the boxes when it comes to running a successful ICO campaign.

NEO replace Ethereum? LOL
That would be something else, there is no chance that coin will get a higher usage than Ethereum.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin surpasses $19,000 on Coinbase! on: December 17, 2017, 09:01:56 PM
UP TODAY ALONE 52.84% or $6,609.90 (at time of writing).

Is it only me, or is a nearly 55% daily increase seem to be a bit dangerous?

As much as I want the coin to have that value, it would not be 100% legit to me. Coinbase is not used by that many people.
However, the price did get past $15k.
245  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to start with Bitcoin? on: December 17, 2017, 09:01:02 PM
Hi,

I am afraid I know relatively little about Bitcoin, but it is something that I would like to know more about.  While I appreciate that I have largely "missed the bus", I feel it is something still worth learning about and possibly investing in for the long term.

Could anyone kindly give me any advice on how to get started with learning about Bitcoin please?

Thank you.
If you purchase Bitcoin immediately, there is a much higher chance for you to make money through the investment that you made.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people sell bitcoins? on: December 17, 2017, 08:47:40 PM
It's very simple, people buy Bitcoin at the same price, and then sell it at a higher price, and this improves their financial status.
People that want to make their money really fast want to sell their coins. Bitcoin can get sold later when then price is high.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin can go to $100 next year? on: December 17, 2017, 08:03:18 PM
Which coin can go to $100 in 2018, like Eth it was worth $12 in 2016 and now its reached to $391 max price.

I want to invest in some coins.
Lisk could get to a high price like that and it could get over $100 without a problem. They just need more people involved in the project.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any altcoin which is less than $10 dollar right now and will be bomb in future? on: December 17, 2017, 07:51:43 PM
U can go on DeepOnion, fair launch and airdrop, based on privacy via TOR and allow you to send encrypted message via wallet.
Is actually worth a bit of nothing, buy a bunch of this one. Thanks me in 5 years.

I might be wrong on this but still I have not seen any airdrop which has actually being in the news due to the good sustainable price it has being on the exchanges for a long time. This coin may be a change to that but still understand and do the research before investing in it.

Deeponion has the price low enough for a large whale to pump the coin though I am pretty sure that the price won't hold when it gets there.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC is dead. The plan is a shift to Bitcoin Cash. on: December 17, 2017, 07:24:16 PM
Negative speculation about bitcoin has been broken and replaced by regrets of those who were eaten by that speculation who later sold bitcoin that has been hold for so long. Bitcoin getting more handsome now.

Yep, once Bitcoin goes down there will be a bunch of coins that will be worth zero. It's all part of the process.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: December 17, 2017, 07:00:52 PM
XRP when actually promising, but is currently experiencing a price reduction when compared to the last week. If XRP up again I think it would be an awful lot of devotees.
The price will drop then return to normal like it always does. There's nothing to really see here other than people wasting their time.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Electroneum is released on: December 17, 2017, 02:25:02 AM
electroneum is finally realesed. has anyone accessed their wallet yet, or completed a transfer? i've completed the verification steps but my wallet is stuck on working.
You might make it to that many dollars/cents yet the price of it in Bitcoin might be much lower than what you invested..
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in EOS on: December 16, 2017, 07:33:27 PM
If I invest $5k in EOS now, will it be worth in 2018?

I heard EOS own blockchain will be released in 2018 and it will be moved to its own blockchain then its price will skyrocket.

What's your advice?
I have a feeling that it won't be worth spending money on that coin because there is not that many people wanting that coin.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Problems Withdrawing coins from Poloniex on: December 16, 2017, 07:31:58 PM
Anybody having problems withdrawing coins from Poloniex? Ive been trying to get some litecoins out but I cannot get an authorization email and no response from support. Any suggestions?
Withdrawals worked fine for me months ago, I stopped using that exchange ever since they changed their chatbox. I guess they're back to doing shady things.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: about ignis on: December 16, 2017, 07:06:56 PM
Does anyone know about ignis?
Why should I save 1000 nxt in jeluride wallet, why should there be a minimum, whether this would end up like crytodao or nicehash case?
why can not be saved in other market and still can get free ignis, please explain it for more understanding

see picture, about email replies from jelurida

The coin looks weak, there is not that much information for people to want to spend their Bitcoins on that coin.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesian Government Banned Bitcoin on: December 15, 2017, 06:18:15 PM
The Indonesian government is afraid of the presence of bitcoin, just like any other country. They are afraid if their main money so worthless, because we know the price of one bitcoin can be to buy a car though.
How many people here think that this will last long?
I don't feel that the government will allow Bitcoin restrictions once it gets accepted in NASDAQ.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum on: December 10, 2017, 08:28:38 PM
bitcoin earns more money than Etherereum In the short term
but I recommend you invest in ethereum long-term
It's much easier to invest in the two coins at the same time. It's better to just invest in Bitcoin because there is an uptrend on the price already.
257  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC? on: December 10, 2017, 08:26:44 PM
The bitcoin does not have disadvantage characteristics that should be consider. In fact bitcoin is perfectly created to provide advantages and positive to everyone;
with the help of bitcoin everyone’s life will become more convenient and easier in all aspects.
The disadvantage to Bitcoin is that every transaction is logged. Every transaction that you send is time-stamped through Blockchain.
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if a person died with BTC!! on: December 10, 2017, 08:24:33 PM
What will happen??

No one will have the BTC address. Hence will them isolated?

In FIAT, people can handover money to someone.. So, i predict BTC will be disappeared gradually.
The simple answer is that the money would be gone once the person dies with the coins in their wallet.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BEST METHOD TO BUYING BITCOIN? SPECIFICALLY FOR LARGE AMOUNTS. on: December 10, 2017, 08:07:50 PM
say someone was to buy 30 bitcoins .. what is the best and least expensive way to go about this using the gemini exchange? would a regular limit order be ideal?

im not too educated about how the different ways to buy work and would like to learn more.

if the current price is showing $15,500 and you edit the buying price to $15,200, will the order eventually go through or most likely not? and if yes, approximately how long would it take?

basically, what is the best option for buying under market value in the least amount of time, if any?

PS.. edited this without the caps lock for those that it bothered. any help would be appreciated.
Things get easier for you if you have a bank account and a credit card. If you have those then you could get Bitcoin from pretty much any exchange.
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long bitcoin will survive ? on: December 10, 2017, 07:46:09 PM
I think bitcoin will last long enough. because bitcoin itself is a technology. In today's modern era of technology continues to grow. So bitcoin there will be development of existing technology. and it will last a long time. That's just my thinking.
Bitcoin can survive a while as long as there is people willing to send transactions to one another through active nodes.
