I need some investment advice from the veterans here if possible.
Earlier this year I executed my plan and took the plunge by investing in 10 altcoins each with an equal amount of dollars, with some bitcoin left over. As this was my first time I made some mistakes in investing at the wrong time, other coins I did OK. I'm currently a little above what I originally invested in and feel quite comfortable for the time being.
Now that some months have past I feel that I would like to increase my position in all the coins I previously invested in which I believe are for the good long term.
However in the past months I have seen some ICO's with good potential and would of liked to have invested in them but couldn't because I wouldn't be sticking to my original plan with the coins I already invested in, and sure enough recently they had increased a lot in value and I could of made a good return. So my instincts were correct and I should of invested in some additional coins. I know it is said the FOMO is a strong feeling but what happens when it is right??
Are 10 alt coins enough to be investing in?
If I spot a good investment opportunity should I invest in more alts eg. from my original 10 up to 15, my worry is when does it end as the hype never ends.
All the coins I have currently invested in are good solid coins with a good long term future but may have already past their strongest growth phase. If I have a good feeling about an ICO which has good upside potential should I dump one from my current portfolio in favour of a newer coin which could explode?
Hard decisions....
The software alone is not enough to go on since there's a bunch of projects here that didn't strive through their launch. It's all about the dev. |

What was your worst loss investing in altcoins?  If you have trustworthy people, there is no problem with some failures. The worst people are false people. Personally at the moment my biggest loss is the sale of several BTCs after my weak rate. I tend to not worry on the price of an Altcoin because they usually don't get a high value once the money is placed into it. Crypto is weird. |

It's a hit or miss since there's not that many people that would purchase an airdrop coin if they know that the coin was initially given out for free. |

There is no benefit to making a token. The coins that rely on another coin to thrive is not something that anyone would want to use. |

The most successful projects are the ones that start from scratch. If you just copy another coin or have your project attached to a coin then there would be no need for your project. |

The price is so high because of the small suply available in the market. It is a fraction if compared with the tokens that we bought in the ICO. As soon they will enable transffer and hit another exchange the price will go very fast down and it will be a good time to buy. I personally will hold and buy some more because i think that in the 6 month run it will bring me a nice proffit
The price will definitely go to a much lower price than it is right now. The people that want to make money through that coin can only hope that the team doesn't scam them. |

2) real people in the team ( wiht links , guys! there are no people who don't use social media now. so pleaseeee)
3) realistic plan of ICO
Having a legit product is the most important thing whenever there is a project. A lot of these ICO's have good ideas -they can't do anything else without an actual product. |

The next 100x will be Bitcoin. Why ? Because to mak 100x a lot of time is needed, years. And where were all the altcoins in 5 or 8 years ? In the trash ! I'll probably invest a little in each just to be safe. Real estate is a huge market
I also invested in REX and REAL. Actually REAL is making me excited. It can be whole new experience for lots of crypto investors. I am not into any of them. The competition does seem like it's somewhat stiff. New blockchains and coins aren't really what the people want. |

FB is a strange one. There are so many "fake" facebook accounts used in bounty programs that I am not sure they actually bring in any business.
That said a genuine FB account is an excellent medium.
Facebook is what I use to get more knowledge of the new coins that get launched within a website or another place. Facebook allows me to write to users as well. |

If Bitcoin gets up to that amount then there would be a bunch of altcoins selling their coins because they people that have those coins will want to have more Bitcoin. |
