321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: October 11, 2017, 05:37:52 PM
Already 1700 ETH have been contributed in the pre-sale, you can register yourself on thePundi X Website

It looks like a very nice and promising project, now more than 1,775 raised and I think will easy to raise hardcap. Good luck dev.
That's a whole lot of Eth that can be used for the price pumps. Will any of the coins gathered from the ICO be used to pump money into bitcoin exchanges?
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Feenix ICO on: October 11, 2017, 07:23:39 AM
The Feenix ICO is currently live.

www.feenix.tech/white-paper

We released our white paper today and look forward to any comments, criticism, or enthusiasm.

Briefly,

Feenix is a peer-to-peer (P2P) distributed file-transferring platform designed to enhance the way files are shared between users. By decentralizing the file-sharing process, Feenix completely removes the middleman and allows users to directly exchange information via the blockchain network. The need to pass through a third party is unnecessary.

There are a few other cryptos that have similar ideas and goals.  We think that this is an excellent indicator that there is a real need for this service and network.  We hope to stand apart by not stopping at just p2p file sharing, but moving towards complete developer and user created apps and decentralized sites.

Check out the whitepaper and if you believe in the idea, please support us and buy some coins. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have.

Your project doesn't look like it can hold the years of bashing and it will also have no new posts within your announcement thread in timely gaps.
Are you ready for that?
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FLiK on: October 11, 2017, 06:44:44 AM
Entertainment in a blockchain sounds so promising. Just got my curiosity nerve to read this stuff. Movies and other video contents make a lot of bucks and I don't want to be left out.
It sounds like a good thing to do. It might help the community in Bitcoin so why would there be any need to build a new project for that specific purpose?
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [CWF] CONNECT WORLD INVESTMENT FUNDS! ICO WALL IS NOW: 100% BONUS on: October 11, 2017, 02:09:33 AM
When will ICO end?
31.10 at 23:59 forum time Wink
Okay, that's not that bad.
There's a bunch of ICO's that are launched and they have the people wanting tto get other coins sent in to them within a shorter period.

The end of the month should bring in a nice amount of investors.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EBTC is the altcoin to watch out for see the reason why (A must read) on: October 06, 2017, 11:24:15 PM
it's only on etherdelta .  not on bittrex unfortunatly

Nor Poloniex or Bitfinex, the only ones I use. They need to get broader support for it to take off.

it's only few days old .   it's going up fast on etherdelta

i know. dang.
i want to buy more.

volume is picking up and the price is moving up.
look at the depth chart, a mountain of buyers and no sellers.

i had a feeling the first night was the time to buy off the first noob dump.
etherdelta sucks so much i didn't.

nice up move right now.
we at EBTC/ETH 0.000300000!
I didn't purchase any of the coins when it was going back and forth between six cents, the price is past 60 cents now. Not bad, I guess that I missed the pump on this coin.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EthereumDARK Speculation on: October 06, 2017, 10:31:03 PM
Hello,

What are your ideas? Thank you,

I was searching coinmarketcap not that long ago and there was another coin called ether dark. Does anyone know if the devs are the same?
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I made $3.2M in Cryprto since 2010. Here are my top picks for coins under $1. on: October 06, 2017, 10:18:34 PM
The biggest take-away from this post is the signoff "GREED IS GOOD Mother F&%kers"

Its not wise to follow anyone who spouts this as their mantra. It directly implies that self interest is their top priority.
Anyone that is trading on the internet or with stocks shouldn't have any interest in having a mantra. Investing is too random to have only one direction.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Buying eBTC token on: October 06, 2017, 12:16:38 AM
Buying eBTC token. Any ammounts.   Shoot me your offers Smiley
What's wrong with just using EtherDelta? The may be pretty slow though they have more orders than people trying to get them traded over the counter.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eBTC doing well!! on: October 06, 2017, 12:14:27 AM
i think that thiscoin wil be really great in less than one  mounth
It looks that way.
There doesn't seem like there's any reason for the price to not go up like it is right now.

I would just keep investing.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does BTC control a lot of the other altcoins on: October 06, 2017, 12:07:58 AM
I am not really familiar how bitcoin works, and how bitcoin dominates all the other coins. In a perfect world, Bitcoin would  compete with other coins for prestige, imagining a race to the moon not just for bitcoin but for all the coins. Possibly if 70% of the world's crypto market switched to some shit coin with good features then we MIGHT expect an imbalance to happen, forcing bitcoin to compete.
I noticed that too.
I don't want to have all the coins to convert to another currency in the later route though if that has to happen the so be it.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I made $3.2M in Cryprto since 2010. Here are my top picks for coins under $1. on: October 05, 2017, 11:55:34 PM
You are so full of BS. Sia is not going to fail believe me!
Sia might not fail right at the time because of the recent price jump that allowed more people to purchase more coins. You what happens when more people hold coins right?
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: red pulse ICO worth it? on: October 05, 2017, 11:10:31 PM
I gotta say I'm very pleased with the way Red Pulse handles their business. Their communication is clear and professional, and they always seem to be on top of things. It's getting me very excited about the ICO!

If you have already done the KYC process by September 7th and  you don't have received a negative response, you have been accepted!

In Red Pulse you can participate only with NEO coins; if you don't have a wallet you can buy it in bigger and better exchanges, and then bring it to your personal portfolio ... never leave in the exchange!

The Chinese government has not blocked ICO forever; it cannot and does not agree. He just has to regulate it and in this way is making the world see that it is a strong country that makes strong decisions .... but it will not stop the carousel  Grin

When everything is finished, ICO will resume as before and NEO will resume climbing.  Wink
If they truly create a regulation for icos then things are not going to be back as they were before it is possible that many icos just choose to avoid accepting Chinese investors and that is going to damage the success possibilities of any ico not accepting them, but at the same time if China only regulates icos then they could be able to buy those tokens in the open market.

The SEC also announced a Cyber Unit to start regulating ICOs in the US. Hopefully this will lead to more investors/buyers in the long run!
I think it is going to be the opposite many icos are already banning US citizens to participate in their icos, so it is very obvious to me that those icos choose to deliberately lose that market over complying with all the crazy regulation that they will have to go through.

I think ICO's will be regulated, not banned. The US market potential is massive, I doubt they'll choose losing that over following government rules. We'll see I guess, time will tell
I think they will choose the banning over complying, many financial institutions do not accept US account holders precisely because of this reason, more and more banks around the world are deciding it is not worth it and I do not see why icos will choose any differently.

Even if they did, there's plenty of options for US citizens to participate in the project, maybe ICO's will be more difficult (eventhough most KYC regulations are a joke), but once the coins reach exchanges there's really nothing the government will be able to do except for complete banning and censoring parts of the internet, as well as forbidding international communication (a friend of mine from China asked me to buy into the RP ICO because he had trouble with it, after I collect our profits I'll just send him his money in BTC, it really is that easy)
I don't really get it...
How does the Government or the website owner know where the person is staying at? Is it because of his or her bank account?
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you paying all your stuff only with Altcoins? on: October 05, 2017, 10:55:40 PM
First which altcoin is offering credit/debit cards?

I think there are many already one of them is Graft, another one from open ledger, don't remember the name.. but maybe there are others that already are available for the crypto owners that want to pay all their stuff only with crypto via crypto debit/credit cards?
Not really....
I have some Altcoins that I like to use once in a while though trying to get them exchanged for Bitcoin doesn't really count for spending my Altcoins for something lol.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What encourages you to invest in any altcoin? on: September 27, 2017, 09:54:27 PM
real world application is something important for an altcoin
but we dont know how a particular altcoin dev team are
going to market the product and also we dont know what
the interest and useage is going to be.

The current projects are not feasible, I mean they don't have any product. They're missing real products, they're just providing ideas and selling their ideas to the people.
If they have what they need to get their job done then they will make it happen, I look for coins that have more of a fun atmosphere surrounding it.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why is blackmoon already below ico price ? on: September 27, 2017, 09:20:19 PM
Hi, my question, is in the title, the ico was funded very fast, but i am quite sad to see its already below ico price as i invested in it, anyone know when the bounties are gonna be released ?
People dumped the coin when they received the coins right when it got to a Bitcoin Exchange. There's not that many people promoting that coin right now too.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 6 Reasons Why Shift Will Become A Top 10 Coin In 2018 on: September 27, 2017, 08:48:55 PM
I've been watching this coin, and knew what potential she has good but not even imagined that so great. thanks for the info
Investing in this coin now would be a professional decision. The price might pump when they do something new.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Views on UNIKOIN? The Mark Cuban/Ashton Kutcher backed sports crypto? on: September 27, 2017, 05:15:20 PM
UNIKOIN
https://unikoingold.com/sale

It's open for public sale now. It's the Mark Cuban backed e-sports based crypto.

the CEO of Unikrn stated that Unikrn has over 4 million monthly active users and around 90,000 users who have placed bets on the platform.

I have done a shit load of research in them and they look pretty good, on paper.

Investors who invested in Unikrn in its Series A include: Advancit Capital (Shari Redstone), Binary Capital, Mark Cuban Companies (Mark Cuban), Freeland Ventures (Elisabeth Murdoch), Sound Ventures (Ashton Kutcher, Guy O’Seary), 500 Startups, Tabcorp Inc. and Hyberspeed Ventures (Erick Miller).

Those are pretty big names.

I have a $100 bucks I was thinking on putting in the token?? (not much, but it's what I have Smiley

What are your views?
It might not be worth the couple of hundred bucks. I would only invest a number that is under a hundred because things might not go the same direction that you think.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are trading bots slow death for altcoins? on: September 27, 2017, 05:13:29 PM
it is not as easy as that.
and if one bot is using such strategies it won't change much about the whole market. it is only one way of making profit from a market. and if the market is headed in a direction it will continue to do so.

No offense but it is that simple.  The link I provided explains it in depth but what I wrote is the gist of it.  And it's not 'one bot' (obviously).  There's shit tons of them.

no.
these altcoins on are downward trends only because they are pump and dumps and you happened to see their dumping era.
you can find other altcoins that have been stable and had a solid movement. like Monero (apart from past couple of days of pump) litecoin. but those shitty pump and dumps coins will go down even if there were no bots.
people are fed up with the "pumps and dumps" not the bots or the market.

Some coins won't be selected for bots because they are too stable.  Bot auto trading requires high volatility / high volume and a generally healthy curve (not recently pumped, not on a death spiral).

Quote
that 1 sat thing is not really something effective. that is something desperate as a matter of fact.
if you speculate a price movement then place your orders at that price, you shouldn't worry about a little difference anyways. and if you are afraid just sell at market price, the prices are never with big spread for liquid coins.

Sure it's desperate, I wouldn't argue that futzing around over 1 sat is laughable.  The real point of it is to make sure they're at the top of the list.  Not that they get 1 sat more.  And some coins do have a very high range during active trading.  I'm watching MCO go bezerk right now and it's not unusual for there to be a 15k spread between best bid and best offer.  That's 3% at the current rate.  A lot of traders are aiming for 5-10%, that's giving away an unacceptable portion of it.  Also putting your trades in ahead of time tells everyone your intentions, it lets other people put up walls in front of you that prevent your trade from going through.  Ex, you want to sell 10 coins at 6000 sat.  Someone else wants to make sure they sell their 5000 coins first at 5999.  It's entirely possible the market will run out of momentum before it cracks through those 5000 coins they're selling.  Sometimes I preset my sales, sometimes I don't, it depends on what's going on.

What about the trading fees that the owner of that Bitcoin Exchange put to make money on each transaction? They may like the trading bots.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin or Dashcoin ? on: September 25, 2017, 04:34:39 PM
Hey guys making some researchs about mining machines and mining pools to maybe buy one machine from bitmain....

So, later i see lot of topics saying bitcoins start to be a little hard to mine and ppl say to go to other crypto.

So, what is better lite or dash ??

Or maybe whats the best one to start ?
Litecoin is much better than Dashcoin because Litecoin has a developer that's been around longer than Dash.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you dumped your BCC yet? on: September 24, 2017, 09:07:42 PM
Nope, holding to them, hoping they will go up.
I am also trying to not sell the coins that I have as well. Looks like the price is going down, I hope that it goes to a point where I can purchase more.
