1161  Economy / Economics / Re: Can be done? on: October 08, 2018, 07:37:57 PM
Whether the crypto markets crash or rise, there still remain people who are looking for new odea filled projects

This is to say that people have understand blockchain is opening more investing opportunity. It is a new investing area and yet to be tapped. A good product will speak for itself. OP,  you don't get discouraged if you have the idea, the market is there.
1162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rapper Soulja Boy Brags About Bitcoin Gains in New Rap Track on: October 06, 2018, 06:25:05 AM
If he brags about making lots of money with bitcoin, why don't he posts some secreenshots of his wallet and transaction IDs on social media.

I think you have made certain conclusion about gangsters and what it is all about for, which is making of money and probably fame whether in the right way or negative way. What you said in the above is almost what is known with them.

However, it is his right to brag about the risk he took and made some racks from it. Asking that he could prove it by screenshot on the social media might be out of context. Afterall, some other made so much many from bitcoin last December.

Moreover, just like HabBear calculated in the above post, he just might have only 16 Btc.

Or... Are you saying people don't make money from bitcoin?
1163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Make Cryptocurrency Investments on: October 05, 2018, 05:37:57 PM
"While short-term investors consider even the smallest opportunities, long-term investors expect big trends and benefit from opportunities".

Do you think this is really the position of the market? Like both short and long term investors can't make money or lose despite the analysed trend?

We know that the market waves does not respect how much it is that an investor put in the market and anything can happen. So for me, this analysis is not appropriate.
1164  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is it safe to store Bitcoin in such a company? on: October 05, 2018, 04:23:56 PM
It is a good idea but you also should search whether it is a legit and trustworthy company or not.

I think this is also like having your coins saved for you with an exchange. Even with adequate research, anything can still happen, it is not regulated and because of this factor, it is risky. Registration is different from being regulated.
1165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Investments Why Risky? on: October 05, 2018, 04:04:57 PM
Among the factors discussed, I pick law to be very important  and relating to the topic . Law comes first above the last factor which is risk. Risk is talking about trust and trusting the team or project but I don't even need to trust when I can legally make the team pay for their omission/act, conspiracy, embezzlement and fraud. I just sue them  Shocked
1166  Economy / Economics / Re: Institutional Investors Are Using Back Door for Crypto Buys on: October 05, 2018, 01:48:17 PM
In order to get the desired volume of cryptocurrency they go for back doors in order to get advantage over the market since the main market can't sell the amount of coins that are needed to fulfill the demand.

I'm also thinking it can be one reason they indulge in such back door buying, more like disguising and probably buying lower quantity and from various exchanges. This is actually possible.
1167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Not Ripe To Replace Gold: Analyst Kristoffer Inton on: October 05, 2018, 01:19:23 PM
Gold is centralized and it is a fiat currency.
Is Gold really a fiat?  Shocked or a tangible form / asset that can be sold for fiat or exchanged for fiat  Huh Just curious...

The fact that Bitcoin is not ripe for the replacement of gold can be seen with the naked eye. Not enough power promoted and interest from the public.

Has the argument been that bitcoin was prepared or innovated to replace gold? Or that gold was tired to be known as store of value and asset or a level of affluence?

I was thinking the argument has been that whether bitcoin can function as though a store of value and assets but not to replace gold because gold has not replaced fiat in my view.
1168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to prevent selling your bitcoin prematurely, use this strategy on: October 05, 2018, 06:35:43 AM
You made 3000 USD from a single airdrop?Congrats.I can't believe that most of the airdrops are legit.

He also got my attention at this point too. It is the point where I believe can sustain an investment. Buying directly into altcoin to hodl a bitcoin investment won't work. Altcoins have a way of collapsing while you are still in bed sleeping. For instance, ONT was doing well but has dropped below 50% and above.

I believe in being prudent with my income and bitcoin. I can sell a fraction and buy back in. I don't depend on altcoin.
1169  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the cause of trade war between USA and China? on: October 04, 2018, 11:24:53 PM

2. What are the things the both stands to lose because of the war?

Obviously there is no way that they won't lose certain things because where two countries are not in good terms, they will lack bilateral coorporation  and every other thing countries  who are not in terms lack, financialassistants etc.
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How to get a merit? on: October 04, 2018, 07:53:15 PM
I think you are complaining about the merit system and that has to do with suggestion to the forum, therefore : refer your complaint to meta board here  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=24.0 You get the response you are asking for there. Or, I guess you learn how to make quality post and learn how to deal with the merit which seem like it is going to stay with the forum  Shocked

This section is where we discuss about altcoins .
1171  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin ETF more likely to be approved but why price is going down? on: October 04, 2018, 04:37:48 PM
It's still not likely to be accepted considering the extreme volatility and potential market manipulation it is being subjected to. Either way, the current market conditions put very little weight on positive news, and a lot of weight on negative news. Hence why small FUDs cause big dips, and great news leads to only minor gains. Until we get out of this state of hypersensitivity, we're not going to see much growth.

You have a good analysis but lately, we have also seen relatively stable price not diving to the left nor right despite the FUD or otherwise ... Is it really what should get ETF, I have been wondering if market sentiment really has ears, listening and behaving as against volatility.  Huh
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano or Electroneum??? on: October 04, 2018, 03:20:27 PM
Cardano of course much better than electroneum, ADA have big community, top altcoin and so many exchange, ETN just wake up yesterday

Yeah, maybe just woke up yesterday but they have been committed after falling from traffic last year or thereabout. I know ADA has strong community and fellowship but I also have faith with electronuem.
1173  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ethereum (ETH) Daily Price Forecast – October 4 on: October 04, 2018, 03:05:39 PM
Nice analysis from OP but 2018 experience so far has defiled many of those.

so it's time to buy coins and wait for the Christmas holidays!

I won't be surprised if the Christmas day doesn't come as expected in price bull Grin
1174  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Declining of Bitcoin Price has also a Decline in Consumers Interest? on: October 04, 2018, 10:30:05 AM
This kinda shows us that the price stagnancy or price decline results with less people interested in crypto and price going up means more interested people, but it could be vice versa as well.

I think this is a fact. People getting more interested in thriving market. This is why we had so much rush in December that eventually got so many people losing money. The higher the trade volume attracts more traders.
1175  Economy / Economics / Re: Demand-Pull Inflation was responsible for Bitcoin ATH of last year. on: October 04, 2018, 08:15:46 AM
it may be difficult for the market to reach such height before end of December this year.

I think we should not even let that start coming to our minds because we might be cut out from it.

I have come to conclusion in my opinion that excessive demand for Bitcoin and crypto currency in general was the major factors that push its market value higher as at last year.

Your analysis might not be totally wrong going by the economic terms you went with. Off course when the chase for product gets too much, that particular product could sky rocket in price either it is hyped or truly a good product.
1176  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Prediction 2020 - 2021 on: October 03, 2018, 09:01:59 PM
We have to basically forget about miracle happening with price this year because it might not leave the bear mode. Lets start looking at 2019 which looks like opposite of this year.
1177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple XRP: the good altcoin to invest into? on: October 03, 2018, 08:40:34 PM
Is Ripple XRP a good altcoin to invest into? Recently, XRP gained nearly 50% of it original value.

With the 50% gain and after it, did the price rise to a dollar? I guess you can answer that question now. I consider it mainly for a short time run off and you have to be careful so that it doesn't stick with you when it drops again.
1178  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A Bounty Hunter Guide: Things I Do Before Joining Bounty Campaigns on: October 03, 2018, 05:31:42 PM
That is a nice guide. I do appreciate number 2 and 3. They are very nice way to successful bounty.

2. Check Scam accusation and Reputation Boards : If we are able to be patient and go over this board, most likely, if it is scam bounty you might see it there posted by other members who have researched on it. If it is seen as scam, no need to doubt ,so you don't get worried for your payment.

3. Check the Bounty Manager : Also, the manager is like the captain of the ship, we have to be mindful of that too.
1179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Security Token or Utility Token? on: October 03, 2018, 05:03:08 PM
Utility tokens can be just one directional area and might not really be a considering factor with sec but security tokens can be a factor. And more investment seem to be on that and the exchanges.
1180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favorite coin to invest (new vote) on: October 03, 2018, 04:14:32 PM
My first choice would have been bitcoin but is up there Grin So, the second on the table is most preferred as the second choice. Etheruem lately has been showing to be ready for the bull, climbing back to number two spot two days ago. Litecoin is another but I'm also considering dogecoin for a surprise.
