481  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 3884 again? on: March 16, 2020, 11:00:26 PM
my question how long for BTC to back at price of 10k USD? I am very curious about this

I think until the corona virus problem is solved then buyers will take over the market. This time possibility is there that market will grow fast because people will see it as cheap to buy and halving might be around then too. They would like to hodl that time, expecting increase.
482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: we are so close to HALVING !!!are these dumps CONNECT to halving time??? on: March 16, 2020, 06:36:40 PM
The halving expected bull might not happen immediately or as expected this year because this epidemic is yet to be curtailed till this time. The dump that is bringing price down might be due to sell off because of panic. So since the corona virus has scared people from hodling, I see it will take some time for confidence to come back into the market as it will gradually build up again.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy re-start 2020 in process 2025 crash on: March 16, 2020, 05:46:38 PM
I think I like the caption of the thread, the restart part. Maybe we are actually going to have some sanity, unification and proper global economic integration after this health challenge that the world is facing in the name of corona virus. This has really brought hardship in the global economy. I'm sure some loan would be inevitable after this health crisis.
484  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos and April fools, 2020 preempt on: March 09, 2020, 08:58:58 AM

Therefore exactly a month today, we are going to wake up with another April fools day on the forum.

Let us reminisce on the last gimmicks Theymos played on the forum on April 1 and which one caught you  Huh  Shocked Grin

Again, what do you think he can come up for this year, let us preempt him. I'm not sure he can offer 0.01btc for every active user or randomly  Roll Eyes

Or.... Is Theymos likely to keep quiet as April fools too ?

So another April fools day is already here. Wow... Thanks for the reminder and the title about preempting Theymos is cool too. Let us see what surprise he has to throw at the forum this time.

However, I got freaked out when he introduced something like classification to every account that seem to speak on the personality of owners and I think, that also threw the forum into much worry until it was unraveled as April fools.
I'm sure that with this thread, users will be ready for this April 1. This is a nice reminder
485  Economy / Economics / Re: The Fed Cuts Interest Rates as the Virus Spreads on: March 07, 2020, 04:02:17 PM
Usually if there is cut down in interest rate, it should mean that the government is looking to attract more investors because people will come borrowing. Is that same as in this situation that corona virus epidemic is cutting off lives. I'm trying to relate the cut down to the health issue at hand.

487  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: How to Protect Your Crypto Wallet if Someone Searches Your Phone? on: March 03, 2020, 07:30:14 PM
The only way I go about this without the authorities getting to go through some sensitive information such as my holdings in my phone is by hiding all my cryptocurrency apps also I have this xiaomi device I use where I have two operating systems on a device, so i get to store my wallets in the other operating system and the main operating system is what I open to them when such request is being made.

I think all these troubles depend on the country that has restriction on bitcoin. If I live in such country, I won't have to give myself all the trouble so that I don't eventually lose my coins. I would leave my phone simply. If I get back home, then I continue with it. Or , I would have an alternative phone that is smaller maybe.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain enterprise adoption will grow in 2020 on: March 03, 2020, 07:02:57 PM
No doubt that most businesses would employ the blockchain technology in their activities. The coding and inscriptions in some products I think can be encrypted also. The various companies want a modern way to keep their data and information safer. So yes , the technology would be more accepted soon as adoption keeps growing.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit bounties are getting attention and hype! Stop doing these bounties! on: March 03, 2020, 01:07:32 PM

You cannot stop Bounties from being created, you can only restrict your participation for the best.
Dyor and get it right

I think what op has done in this thread by giving hunters opportunity to air certain ill in the bounties is good enough. If we have more committed to research against these scam projects all over the bounty section, it will do a lot for the needed clean up.
Also , the scam bounties are not bringing good image for the forum.
I suggest that the forum should make it mandatory for any bounty to run on btc, etheruem or more popular altcoins that is highly ranked on cmc.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Safe Haven Asset? on: March 02, 2020, 09:53:17 PM
I think op should doctor the write up and take away corona virus ish. If he talks about volatility and bitcoin safe heaven for investment, then it can be related to.

If we look at the current price trend of Bitcoin, can you still say that Bitcoin is a Safe Haven Asset?  Those who bought at $10k are already bleeding with their portfolio now.  And a highly volatile asset can't be considered as Safe Haven because we do not know what will happen to our investment in it in the future.

This is exactly the point with bitcoin that it is looking as if investment for it could be risky but every investment is risky and so, safe heaven for investment could be a mirage.
491  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto mass adoption achievement on: March 02, 2020, 06:16:15 PM
Since Bitcoin is a decentralized platform then it really is up to the people. The way I see it is that those people who are advertising Bitcoin are driven by their interests especially for the company who are bound in cryptocurrency but there are also people who are spreading the news so that other people could also take advantage of the benefits that BTC offers.

The adoption to me is for the benefit of everybody because if there is adoption, all coin with use case will increase and that means hodlers will make profit. Therefore, any outfit that is advertising for adoption will be a benefit for all.
492  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Drops $1,600 Amidst Global Uncertainty. What's next for BTC? on: March 02, 2020, 05:04:19 PM
But I think what is happening globally on health is exposing the weakness of bitcoin as it has really caused the downslide of bitcoin and altcoins have really been on red since then. Well what next could be that more dump can be speculated as the corona virus gets stabilized, price will improve because investors fear will go off.
493  Economy / Speculation / Re: How does price action really works? Traders are predicts? on: March 02, 2020, 02:10:34 PM
Your analogy is rather long to read. Moreover, I don't think that new traders can find easy but the ending though can help. It just confirms that technical analysis is majorly the tool to speculate or predict price movement.
494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus & quarantine & effect on BTC Difficulty. How Bad/Likely? Poll! on: March 02, 2020, 01:17:22 PM
Nothing will change, it's too big of a country to really be THAT affected by flu. Even if a couple of facilities are shut down, there're tons of miners all over the world to take on the load

You can't say that and just feel indifferent about the corona virus. This has become a global health challenge just as WHO has declared it. Therefore, it is not only affecting China but many other countries have been recorded to have cases of corona virus even in some African country(ies) too. So, talking about miners, it is likely going to affect the system of mining since transmission isn't selected.
495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a failed experiment? on: February 28, 2020, 11:35:09 AM
Bitcoin is a very succesfull experiment especially for early birds. Incredible ROI from creation

It is not for early birds anymore because I doubt if original hodlers are still having it without having sold and debuting again. Therefore, since we have had new investors buying in, then it is not failed. It has gone through refined process and development.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie in trading cryptocurrency and forex on: January 30, 2020, 05:06:13 PM
Once upon a time i never knew the difference between binary trading and crypto trading, in fact i used to think they are the same until i tried out both and came to understand that binary options are very risky compare to crypto trading

Binary is more like the beast of them all for the reason that it can dive to a direction and stay that way for a longer time that is the fear of it. But if you are on the winning side, you are sure to keep smiling.
497  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Singapore introduces new digital payment legislation on: January 30, 2020, 02:45:09 PM
This however will be good. Legislation helps to bring coordination and fear in the things we do. Moreover, it will protection the investors. I think this is a step that other countries can look into so that investors won't keep panicking.
498  Economy / Speculation / Re: is bitcoin rises high contineue in future next month? on: January 30, 2020, 08:01:36 AM
The trend is likely going to stay up till we approach halving. This is what I think is likely to happen as we have steadily seen a positive price stability with some surge up. Maybe $9,000 is going to be sustained.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance to help Coronavirus victims on: January 29, 2020, 03:01:05 PM
And many will applaud binance for this, many will praise the CEO but is this really what they want or just to gain more reputation? Tron CEO did same thing by using the Dead athlete name to gain awareness, still feels like business to me, anyways, thanks for helping those who caught the deadly virus

I think this is an example to other exchanges. It is bringing out the physical or human face to the exchanges. Also for other exchanges, it is more like social responsibility that should be done in their areas and beyond.
500  Other / Meta / Re: MY PERSONAL TRAD on: January 29, 2020, 02:33:16 PM
I see maybe you are trying to sell someone to be a good teacher or trader. Well for me I have come along way with trade not to know that you need passion to be able to continue working out strategy to see the one working better rather than believing a paid group.
