Newbies can easily be influenced from what they hear from speculations.. I've read several times people tend to advice to hold long term. because its easy for them to say JUST HOLD cause theyre not the one losing! For me its not all about holding, its being smart about your own invesment know when to stop and cut the losses.
What are your thoughts?
You are quite right in your view. Holding should not mean to become foolish while your coin is fast disappearing  . No, it means knowing the appropriate time to sell. For instance, if you have an insider information that the altcoin you have isn't going anywhere, the best to do is let it go. |

I believe most vital and reliable information come from this forum which happens to be the biggest of all. However, I might not have the exact statistics but I give 50% to this forum at the moment because other information sites and social media are coming up.
In the past years, maybe it would have been 95% but cudos to this pioneer forum.

The market is full of nice coins. Majorly the best coins are those that are already at the top in CMC. Bitcoin stands as number 1 but as you are looking for altcoin, I will suggest you go for etheruem or litecoin.

If you have been monitoring bitcoin and etheruem closely, you will observe that etheruem does not follow the move of bitcoin immediately but it will definitely follow. Bitcoin was down like a month ago but eth has been a bit steady, so it is just getting its own knock, it will get back.

We all are waiting for a revolution like the last year. I believe this it will happen and I am also waiting. Traders and investors are eagerly waiting for this. At the end of this year, Bitcoin will hit at least $25k and Eth will hit $5k and I can't think anything without it anymore. This revolution is badly needed in this bearish situation.

I think we should take our mind from such expectation. The ATH for bitcoin might be difficulty to get to. We need to start looking at next year. 2018 had so much expectation but has not come real. |

Many coins are already for to invest on, they all can give profit depending on time of investment.

I also select the ico I invest in. I don't invest in ico that is not running a bounty because with bounty I can learn more about the coin either from the media groups or thread. Although, it is still not a prove that the ico who be real to investors.

It depends on the price you think the altcoins will get to because, the more they increase, the more bitcoin flies. It therefore may not happen and if it happens, it means bitcoin will be replaced by either the coin or another coin.

You have to be reminded that you don't need to trust here, when you want to transact you need a reputable escrow (a trusted third party) and not a conniving escrow . With a reputable escrow, you are sure to be safe with your money.

It is hard to determine a scam ico before you get rubbed of in your investment but you need to understudy the project through its telegram handles before investment.
You need not to be an early investors too because, staying back a little can save you some heart breaks because you might have learnt somethings from somebody

From what I'm seeing, I believe the market is down because of the outcome of ETF and unfortunately, I think we are still going to wait till September 30th. Investors are not having confidence in the market, they are withdrawing their orders.

The current scenario is really downward so no one is accepting the 50k USD in end of the year.
May be some unexpectable positive news are comes in future it will reach 50k USD. But surely it is impossible in this year.
Although $50k seem to be on the high side but no body is entitled to predict price because we saw the growth of last year. However that move, I strongly doubt that to happen, market have not been up at all to speculate that. |

No I do not think you are right with your statement. You don't live on speculation for an asset. Bitcoin is analysed just like forex too because it also works with such principles basically, the technological or fundamental. |

Usage of more altcoin will also help the acceptance process of cryptocurrency. There are very nice coins there like litecoin, dogecoin, sic, monero, waves etc. If icos adopt more of these coins, it will help. This will be a very good move for cryptocurrency.

Obviously it does but maybe it might not be instantly like is known in forex business. and if they hodling bitcoin they probably quickly dump their bitcoins and this would affect btc price.

Looking to do a job of translation, I think you can accept low price but try to do a nice job and deliver on time, with time your popularity will start growing. This is how people start to build reputation. A good name is far better than physical money.

It is really good news that Britain and European countries are thinking about crypto based on this system many countries will be benefited also they need this because this is modern tech based on this in future they can get more profit and benefits.
I also think that the European continent is what the cryptocurrency market has been waiting for plus ETF. Everything seem to be working very fine for digital currency at the moment. |
