I'm new to crypto investment and I don't think I would worry myself over time of the year to buy my coin. What I will look at is if the particular coin is cheap at the time. For example, though we are having greens in cmc but some are still showing red.

everyone can predicts the bitcoin price, someone told us bitcoin will rising to $50K in 2018 early, but right now price only have $8K, for me I don't focus market price right now because I'm a holder, I won't sold my coin before earn at least x10 profit return
Bitcoin recently is filled with so much speculation of price and nobody knows where price is even going. I'm not really expecting a surprise increase but a step by step move. |

The coin is new though which is good to buy now but the supply is high , one billion as I saw. Coins with such high supply find it difficult to grow sometimes. |

I believe there are highs and lows for most things , human and currency inclusive. Currencies of the world falls from time. So when cryptocurrency or bitcoin falls in price, I don't panic, I just know it is going to regain.

I'm not really basing my idea on the source of the news but on the date of the tax day or on the realistic of what the tax day is. If actually the date given is for tax day, I do believe that price will raise after the date has passed because more investors who are avoiding being taxed would want to come in and this will shoot price up. |

For me, lesson learnt is to buy the dip on my choice coins that soared out of my reach. It was so nice having to buy into some of these coins.
As for the crash I learnt that in cryptocurrency whenever a coin with a good use case goes down it will bounce back. Another thing is that we should never wait forever to take profit on our holdings. In addition to all that, I discovered that bitcoin is the pacesetter here. Whenever it (btc) goes down, the altcoins also go down. These were the great lesson for me during the dip.
I like the area you said we should not wait forever to take profit and this is just the fact of gains of buying a coin because, they increase and decrease from time to time. So the lesson of a crash is to hodl the coin and to buy more at the time. |

Tax should be if the country that the exchange is collects tax on cryptocurrency. And off course, there is a lot of money to be made with bitcoin accounting but the issue is on trusting another on it to be honest and not defrauding the donor.

It is realistic but depending on your capital. The capital you are ready to risk will help you achieve it but it might not be regular. However, if peered with btc , you can be achieving that $50 often. |
