1) Expanse isnt a "coin" its a tokenized dapp platform 2) You keep missing the point. No central authority is holding it. You, if you choose to participate in the network, will be one of many holding it and actively deciding how it gets spent.
You guys continue to dodge the questions about the 1.1 million coins you will have in your hands ready to dump on first exchange. Put your money where your mouth is. Delete the 1.1 million part you have up front, entirely. Go with 100% contract only community vote released over time fund and this might not be DOA. +1 DEV`s you are answer/talking only about 90% of premine. Take your 1.1M coins in smart contract for 2-3 months, and no more questions to you. That is reasonable, but I have already talked about every possible option like that with the team for over a month now, and we can't develop this to the level we plan on unless we are working on it full time. Which means we can't be working full time elsewhere, and we need some funding to add value to the project. No matter what some people won't be happy, and some even think with a couple GPUs we should mine along with everyone else and work for a year, or years, for nothing, which is impossible for us and most anyone. If you have any concerns, just wait, but we are sticking with the plan and we think it will speak for itself over time. Don't mislead people, you're just make another clone coin. You not making something NEW or something unique. Your work that is your investment in coin and this is the risk of getting nothing if you make "bad work". Why would you want to all risks fell on the shoulders of investors and miners? Take your 1.1M coins in smart contract for 2-3 months and if you make "good job" you make good profit from premine.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage - Working Beta - Currency has been released

Alright, 0.4.1 is ready, both the CLI and the GUI. CLI: https://github.com/NebulousLabs/Sia/releases/tag/v0.4.1-betaGUI: https://github.com/NebulousLabs/Sia-UI/releases/tag/v0.4.13 important things: - If you unlock the wallet before the blockchain finishes downloading (you can compare to the height at explore.siacoin.com), the program will slow down substantially and may appear like it is frozen. Until we fix this issue, it's best to wait to unlock your wallet until the blockchain is fully downloaded. Depending on your computer, this will take between 20 minutes and 9 hours (it's much faster on SSDs). - You can now import legacy wallets (only after wallet is unlocked), but your new coins will not show up until after you restart siad. - Starting Sia can take a while. For some people it's just a few seconds, but for others it's several minutes. If you wish to import a legacy wallet:1. Download 'Sia' and let it fetch the whole blockchain. 2. Unlock the wallet (before you unlock the wallet the first time, you need to initialize it. In the GUI, initialization is automatic. In the CLI, you can do `./siac wallet init`) 3. Load the legacy wallet. (in the GUI, there's a 'load legacy wallet' button. In the CLI, you can use `./siac wallet load 033x [filename]`) 4. after the wallet has loaded, you must restart 'siad' for the coins to show up You can stop siad by running `./siac stop`, or by killing the process from the task manager. Good news Taek. Thank you!

Any news?
We are very close to the announcement now and should have it up within days. Sorry for the delays, but we want to get this done right. There will be public test mining in advance of the actual launch so people can test and have everything ready, so that the actual launch will be as fair as possible for everyone. There should be no problem with getting Expanse on a good exchange. I hope you start project without premain The upcoming plans requires a reserve and would not work without it, but we are avoiding ninja launches and instamines that go along with most zero premines, that in practice are usually not actually fair and favor the few that know the timing or initial settings to mine. It will be an extremely fair launch this way without any person or group having an edge. There will even be a test launch so people less technical can set everything up in advance and be ready for it. So even the least technical people will have a fair shot at a time made clear well in advance. As for the reserve, most of the reserve will be controlled by the community, and I think most people will find the design for this very innovative and original once they see it. hmm... that is bad, how much will be premine? Once the announcement is out then you can see all the details and the plans, pretty important to know everything to understand how it works. There will be no risk of dumping as we will be using smart contracts, zero risk. Obviously we can't make everyone happy, but as a miner myself I think miners could do quite well with this over time, so check out the announcement later and read up on it and then decide if you think it is worth it. Thanks! ok, waiting announcement.

Can someone say me, how to sent coins? This dosn`t work eth.sendTransaction({from: eth.coinbase, to: 'shiftadress', value: web3.toShf(1, 'Shf'), gas: 22000}) This unit doesn't exists, please use the one of the following units{ "Eshf": "1000000000000000000", "Gshf": "1000000000", "Kshf": "1000", "Mshf": "1000000", "Pshf": "1000000000000000", "Shf": "1", "Tshf": "1000000000000" } at getValueOfUnit (<anonymous>:-53474:-135) at toShf (<anonymous>:-54599:-135) at <anonymous>:1:99 Linux or Windows? Linux Use the GUI wallet you can send from it easily github.com/shiftcurrency/shift-executables/blob/master/shiftwallet_0.9.1_amd64.deb Click Raw to download I don`t what use gui wallet, need console command to sent coins. No one knows? You entered 'Shf', instead of "Shf" . You used single quotations instead of double quotations. In regards of the web3 interface.. it is NOT complete yet. We can not guarantee the functionality, becuase it is not tested yet. What, works... works. That being said, we will fix this in the coming days. It is alot that needs to be fully rebranded, migrated to shift in terms of functionality and further development before we can do a major release e.g v 1.0.0 and not 0.2.0 as we are on now. Kind regards ok, can you say how to sent coins from console? or i must use GUI wallet to sent coins? thx
