Where The F can i download CGminer 3 Server hasan't been working for 2 days! You get enough donations (including me) to buy a better host plan. Scroll the F up and you'll see the there has been a discussion of alternative download URLs in the past 24 hours (or read the F-ing OP which also specifies the backup download location). Not to mention that ckolivas explained that he is in fact getting a better hosting plan just 4 posts ago. STFU you know it all spammer, and give me a link! GITHUB is not working, server is not working, nothing is working. I just downloaded it from github as a test. Worked fine.

What is the definitive way to see when a non orphaned block has been generated by p2pool?
Anyone know what's up with blocks 219190 and 219192 (and probably others) in there? I'm wanting to do some screen scraping and while I can handle that, it's meaning a lot more data is being pulled back than needs to be. They appear to be transactions where forrestv consolidated a zillion small inputs into a single larger output (to make them easier to spend in the future). FYI, if you are writing code to find p2pool blocks, I found that it was much easier to get data from blockchain.info' API in json format than to try to screen scrape the HTML from blockexplorer. p2pool.info's logic for finding p2pool blocks is: 1. Looks at every new block as it is found and examines the generation transaction and see if a) it has the donation address, b) has the weird script at the end, and c) has at least 25 outputs (this filters out p2pool forks that have only a few people mining on them) 2. Every once in a while looks at all of the transactions for the donation address looking for generation transactions that it doesn't already know about (because they came in way late and are probably orphans.

OK, then why does it not appear on the stats page on my p2pool node, or any other I've checked then?
The site is very slow, when it does load none of the ajax stuff appears to be loading...
p2pool nodes only show blocks based on shares in the p2pool share chain. As a result, blocks that came from stale shares are often missing. p2pool.info scans the actual bitcoin blockchain and so usually finds all blocks regardless of if they are from stale shares or not. The servers hosting the site are working fine, but there appear to be some network connectivity problems at least with several major ISPs. I have been having problems on and off getting to it for the past few days, but http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/p2pool.info generally says that the site is up even when I can't get to it.

9 btc for 380 Mh ?
People aren't buying icarus miners for the MH/s. They are buying them because they can be used to cut to the front of the pre-order line for Avalons.

The point is nobody will use that service because... [snip]
You seem to be under the impression that this service (or other services like it, e.g. bitcoin fog) is not actively being used by people as we speak. There are plenty of non-criminal paranoid people who value anonymity enough to use and pay for these services.

Thanks for the pics. 3h till close right?
Roughly, yes. A little more than 2 hours 40 minutes from this post.
|
|
|
Again. You are missing the point!
Also: The fee for shared transactions is currently 0.5% fee. LOL
I didn't miss the point. You claim to be able to track any attempt by the thief to spend these. This service will easily allow the thief to transfer the coins to an address you won't know about. Yes, you can still track the coins, but they will have been transfered to some unsuspecting person who is also using this service. You will no longer be following the thief, and the thief will be free to spend his stolen coins as he sees fit. 0.5% is far less than the fee usually incurred when trying to unload stolen property...
