1121  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: M's Ant (S1) Monitor v1.3 on: May 12, 2014, 06:30:35 PM
I just published v1.3.  Minor enhancements.. it's all I could pull off this weekend.

- Added the ability to resize the font.  The grid doesn't seem to auto resize nicely for all fonts, some manual effort may be required for really large or really small fonts.
- Added the ability to specify how many browser instances you want to run to keep an eye on your Ants.  The higher the number, the faster it'll go, but the more memory it will use.
- Added a log tab to show timing information, when an Ant is rebooted, and other info I might find useful to add.

M

im personalty having button & window formatting issues now with 1.3
changed font and i cant get to the bottom buttons along with other window
format issues

That's interesting.  I did test it out, it works fine properly here, everything except the content of the grid resizes as it should (the grid sometimes misbehaves with large/small fonts).  What OS and version of .net are you using?

I am having similar issues here also. I am running Win7  .NET Framework 4.5.1

Wow! Nice, but whats wrong with the bottom center S2?

It is probably ok, just the backlights of those LCDs seem to die pretty quickly.

The network cable is not plugged in so it's more than an LCD blacklight issue.
Maybe he was so excited about his new S2s that he had to take a picture even before he had finished setting it u
p.
so here is the story about the bottom middle S2......

this is a batch2 s2.  (top 12 are batch 3 and not hashing up to spec)

on first boot of the S2, it would boot and try to mine and fail... and sit there.

1. I replaced the SD with a new image.

same thing.. boot, not mine.. reboot, nothing.

2. after banging head around for a while. I thought weak PSU.    put in a 1250 SS.  same issue.

3.  started pulling cards out.. first a couple. then a bunch

4  pulled all but one card out.  rebooted a couple of times and got it to mine on one card.

5.  after a while on the one card, i said what the hell and slipped another card in.. it started using the new card..  web UI doesn't show it, but hashrate confirms

6.  I slipped all the rest of the cards in and it mines....

after a power outage adding the top 12 S2's... btw, blew the transformer outside...Smiley  elec company had me up in 12 hours

I had to repeat the same steps to get this particular miner running..... do I want to rma, yes.. but do i want to turn off 950gh for 2 weeks doing so.. NO..  So this will be a hand held s2 on any power interruption.

Dang, sorry to bring all that back up. Sounds like a stressful experience but you seemed to handle it well. Either way, nice farm you have there.

Does it say "Changes: x" in red font in the top right corner. If so you need to click the Save and Apply button.

Ninja,

do you have S1's physically in stock in the U.S. or are orders made on your website being dropped shipped from China?

I think both, depending on his stock. My last unit was dropped shipped and Arrived this morning. I ordered Sunday night so either way, it's quick FREE shipping.

Ninjatech.org shows 800+ S1 units available currently and I remember Ninja posting awhile back stating he just got another shipment.

My last unit came from china (Friday), and I was crossing my fingers it was going to be shipped from him because I am in the same state. I think he sold out his personal collection that was being shipped "like new". Either way, you get your unit fairly quick.

1132  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to buy two dolars' worth via Paypal on: April 26, 2014, 05:34:41 AM
inb4 $2 chargeback

Paypal seems to indicate that it's only a "Goods or services" transaction that allows for a chargeback, and this type of transaction includes a fee that is incurred by the recipient.

Just curious, why would you want to buy $2 worth of Bitcoin?

I only have one power supply and I am running an Ant and the cube. I couldn't justify buying an extra PSU just for one more cube.

Edit:
FYI, these buggers can be finicky. Sometimes I will have to restart the damn thing 10 or more times to get all the boards running 100% for some reason half of one card gives me some trouble. Once it is on and all chips are at 0 it will run and run. Just don't restart it unless you have to.

I have 2 low clock erupter cubes I would sell. Asking price is BTC.125 each

I am in the US

Low clock? What type of GH/s are they running sir?

Pool reports 30-31  I only have one running at the moment, here is a screen shot of pool and UI. The other one is the same, you just can't overclock them.
