You have 100 TH/s or preorder???  That's a significantly high amount, wouldn't that double the current mining difficulty?

Here is one of the pre-order confirmations.

...that site isn't responding. http://[Suspicious link removed]/ (EDIT: solarwindminingco . t k / ) isn't responding either. You said your facilities are located near Kansas? Is that where your web server is as well? I also noticed you notated a lot of decimals with a "," instead of a ".". I've never seen anyone in North America do that (It's common in Venezuela though). Is your company managed far from your mining facility? I would love to see your website when it is accessible for me. ^^ I'm very interested.

(EDIT: I didn't personally call your business's web site suspicious. That is an automated function of the forum.)
Strange, I'll see if I can fix this, until then I'll remove the link (the link worked for me, maybe its your security settings?), thanks for the heads up!

The facilities have been reserved and are located in Kansas near Salina, I live not to far from there so I can get to it fairly quickly when needed.

Ah, the website...  when its ready it will be AWSOME! I have some pretty neat things being designed for it, i think you all are going to LOVE IT!

I like to use 0,00x because BTC is infinitely divisible. The 0,00x indicates that the decimel point is somewhere infinitely to the right.  Grin

966  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I Challenge User PsychoKiller to Come Forward And Prove SolarWind Is A Scam on: September 16, 2013, 02:38:08 AM
I wouldn't worry too much, most people on the forum are smart enough to see right through any unsubstantiated accusations.  No one will believe accusations from a newbie with negative trust.

As for the profile picture, that is just the lead singer from Korn which is not a bad band, they had a few good songs.  And the name PyschoKiller, they might just be a Talking Heads fan as well.

Thanks,

I'm not worried in the least, as for the picture, I know who it is. I was only pointing out my observations as to the way the individual was 'trying' to condition the reader (me of course.) Mostly, I am making the individual aware that I am wise to such tactics, and that I can not be easily manipulated. But I do appreciate your reassurance, nice to know some people still try to look out for others.
967  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I Challenge User PsychoKiller to Come Forward And Prove SolarWind Is A Scam on: September 16, 2013, 02:24:47 AM
The individual is not as clever as they think and now, I think I know what there alt is, but I'll not engage in innuendo or rumor. Indeed, THAT INDIVIDUAL should be aware that I am on to your identity, but I will not hold it against you anymore. The action you took was born in fear and lack, I will not begrudge the starving man when he tries to steal bread to eat but offer him work instead.

Now, to monbox's question. This is a startup company and some details are still in the works. I have December and January orders in at Cointerra and the company needs to raise capital to get things off the ground. That means that I have little time to reach the companies funding goals. From our previous communications I know that you are intelligent enough to understand that some things take time. I ask you to please have patients, I am targeting the availability of shares for purchase in a few weeks. Right know I have a few people working on the website and another is helping to get the business structure in order and ready for public release. You should be aware that it will still take some time for investors to realize any profits, even after the company is in full operation.
968  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I Challenge User PsychoKiller to Come Forward And Prove SolarWind Is A Scam on: September 15, 2013, 08:39:38 AM
The individual also requested a payment of 1 BTC to keep this 'proof' to themselves.

Send them a PM simply asking: "Do you know that extortion is a felony punishable by fine or imprisonment?"

I am sure it is just some kid trying to get free bitcoin not knowing what they are doing is illegal.

I expect that they know fine well it is illegal, they probably think though that the way these forums work, especially the Scam forum where people are generally guilty until proven innocent, they would be able to get some easy money as the OP would be scared into handing over the bitcoin.

Hey Guys, thanks for your comments...

I think both of you are nearly equal on the probability that you are (at least partially) correct. But consider, when you analyze the profile you can tell that the intention was to be intimidating. The name PsychoKiller, the profile picture which is sinisterly staring you down and the hint of a threatening coldness to the message, all give me the impression of an anti-social individual. I don't think this is the first (or the last) time they have attempted this. Scammer accusations spread like wildfire in the bitcoin community and PyschoKiller knows it. Many might just pay a little something to avoid the headache or potential end to their business venture. I think this is why PsychoKiller chose such a small amount, just enough to make him/her feel good, and just enough that someone might be tempted to just pay and hope he/she goes away.
969  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I Challenge User PsychoKiller to Come Forward And Prove SolarWind Is A Scam on: September 15, 2013, 06:56:37 AM

Negative rep'd. Good luck getting anybody to believe him now.

Edit: And BTW you have his profile linked incorrectly twice. The correct link for his profile is: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=150343

Thanks for the assistance, and I fixed the links.

I've collected proofs that you are a scammer.

Send 1 BTC to my address and I'll keep them for me

I replied to this individuals PM with the following;

I know that you are either mistaken or a liar. How do I know this? Because I am not now, or will I ever be, a scammer...

I have also forwarded this PM from PsychoKiller to the forum administrative staff with an inquiry on the forums policy on blackmail.

It is possible that this individual has incorrect information or has misconstrued information that may have nothing to do with SolarWind. Considering the individuals attempt at extortion, it is doubtful that they have any information of any relevance. I have also considered that this individual may only suspect that I am running a scam and sent the PM in an attempt to 'smoke me out,' hoping it would scare me into a confession or that I would just bolt and run, never to be heard from again.

I will not be blackmailed nor bullied...

I Challenge PsychoKiller to come forward,.. reveal the user ID that they usually use in this forum and reveal the 'proof' so that I may address these claims fairly. I have set up this thread solely for this purpose.

Thanks for answering my questions. Sounds pretty interesting. What's the best way to stay in the loop with updates from SolarWind?
Nice to hear from you again!

For now, just keep watching this thread. I will be launching the official thread but it will not contain any content yet.

To the individual who mention the many years of experience and the 20 BTC price for coding in html. I intended to quote you but hit the delete button next to the quote button instead. Please re-post if you want other to see your comments. I understand why you feel the way you do, but there are a couple of things you should know. One, its not THAT big of a project. Two, a Founders Share is going to be worth far more than 20 BTC because it puts the shareholder in a top tier payment structure, in other words, Founders get a piece of everybody elses pie. Third, I actually am looking for the little guy or gal who is looking for a chance to build their resume`. Thats because they and I have something in common. So you, having already made yourself successful, will be in no need of any help from me.

But thanks for your input, I still find that it had great value.
974  Economy / Securities / Re: Coming Soon - Shares for 100TH/s Mining Farm - Payout is better than Pyramining on: September 13, 2013, 07:33:33 PM
Hi there,

Which exchange platform do you plan to trade on? I currently hold a portfolio of securities on Havelock. I've also used Bitfunder.

Is there a thread for this on the Securities board?

Thanks and good luck!

Hardman
Thanks for replying,

SolarWind will start as a private company with private shares. Once certain milestones are reached the shares may go public, but this fact does not stop private trades of shares and SolarWind will support such sales. There will be a procedure in place that will allow for the easy transfer of ownership.

If there is enough interest in using one of the exchanges I will adjust the plan to suite the wishes of SolarWind Partners.
975  Economy / Securities / Re: Coming Soon - Shares for 100TH/s Mining Farm - Payout is better than Pyramining on: September 13, 2013, 05:17:33 PM
If 'X'GH/s achieves ROI in 1 month why does it take 12 months to payout only 110-120% of your investment? Seems like a lot of BTC is going 'somewhere.'  I can't tell you where that extra BTC is going, all I know is that its not going into the pockets of the average shareholder.
It usually goes towards reinvestment (to keep up with competition and difficulty increases) and to cover costs and expenses.
Thanks for your reply,

True, yet when is the final payoff and who benifits the most. My proposal will do much the same, but will be more transparent and more agressive about getting BTC into the pockets of investors.
976  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Bounty]Needed: HTML5/C++ programer for website & website related development on: September 13, 2013, 04:56:34 PM
You want people to work in exchange for shares in an imaginary company that may or may not exist? Good luck with that.

Thanks for your reply,

I understand your skepticism and don't begrudge you for it. Life is full of risks and uncertainties, we can only attempt to navigate through the dark horizons of our future and never resting until we find the illumination that suites us best. An old adage goes like this, 'Nothing ventured, nothing gained.'

Besides, what would be the utility of asking for work to be done to progress something that does not exist, or, at least is not intended to become real?

Time will test me, and despite my purist intentions, time will prove me to be either true... or to be false.

Hello, its a little early to give to many details, but I have some killer investor comps planned.

Theres a little preliminary informtion at this thread; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=293098.msg3142446#msg3142446
979  Economy / Securities / Re: Coming Soon - Shares for 100TH/s Mining Farm - Payout is better than Pyramining on: September 13, 2013, 05:38:06 AM
With all these free users getting some sort of account/share on a pyramining network, what payoff do you get from us users for the work of setting up and maintaining a bitcoin mining network?
Thanks for the reply,

This thread is intended as a promotion, every company must have an advertising budgit. I have chosen to let some of the first new partners do a little of the work to promote the company. The bitshares are my way of paying the nice folks for the work they do, in other words, the company is paying for services rendered. Bitshares are a reserved portion of the mining hash power which is set aside for the companies opperating exspenses and a portion of those bitshares will be shared by the first 100 new partners. This is not to malign my own offer, but the number of total bitshares represent only a little bit (a small percentage) of the total hashing power and bitshares have certain limitations but provide alot of opportunity to those who choose to take advantage of them. To summerize, the bitshares are payment for word-of-mouth advertising and there cost is part of the budgit as planned. Now, I will be offering Founder Shares soon and you may find them to be too expensive for the hashing power they are worth, BUT you may also find that the comps I have planned for the Founders are out-a-site! Oh, and by the way, there are three more types of shares the company will be offering, there are Standard Shares and they there are,.. well... more on those later.

EDIT:

This is a company, its primary purpose is to earn a profit for all of its partners. You have asked what I get out of this. I may have the title of owner, CEO or any other term you wish to (respectively) apply to me, but ultimately to you, a share owner, I work for you. My primary job (and my responsibility) is to make sure the company lives up to its promises and comitments, and that's what I will do. I am not only your employee, I am also a partner as well. I hope to profit just as you do. With your support, I will, with mine own two hands, build and maintain the physical infrastructure needed, make the decisions on how to keep profitability strong for all the partners of the company and create the many financial opportunities that I intend to provide.

Most companies offering shares give you a set amount of hashing power for you investment. If you do the math you'll find that what they payout doesn't really add up to a fair price per hash. I am not offering simple shares for a set amount of hashing power, I am offering the opportunity to invest in a company that will work hard for its beloved partners and will reinvest the companies efforts to continually increase profits for its partners. We're in it for the long haul, together.

Once I work out the final details on investor compensation and release it to the public, I think you'll see that SolarWind is going to set itself apart from the rest of the heard!

Don't worry though, you'll get your bitshare too, Good Luck! Smiley

Hello!  Will you pm us with more info on the shares?
Thanks for the reply,

Still working out the details, so please be patient. I want to make sure I do justice to all partners of the SolarWind Mining Company.

Ed: Nice website by the way, Good Job!
