Google will provide fixes to this Stagefright hole to latest Nexus devices starting next week. It is also already patched in CyanogenMod CM12.0 and 12.1 nightlies and in SilentCircle’s Blackphone. I think that you can not (yet) run wallet with pruning but according the release notes also it should be possible in the near future.
