521  Economy / Goods / FS Bulk Server Fans on: August 25, 2011, 11:59:36 PM

Saw someone else selling fans, thought I would toss mine up.

Have what's shown, just looking to keep a couple for spares. These are all pulled from old servers so they are high quality, working no connectors, you just need to use wirenuts, ill include 4 with each fan and like a foot of wire, if you need help just ask ill explain how to connect them.

Just make an offer not looking for a bunch you pay actual shipping from USA 45140. I have had 9 of these running on my rigs for at least a month.

Definitely on the noisy side, but they push good CFM.

I merged 4 of the smaller fans together and wired them...too noisy for my house lol, very good com though.

528  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: How hot are your PSU's getting? on: August 25, 2011, 01:02:50 AM
Nah 750 is plenty for what you have, also PSUs are designed to suck warm air so don't worry about it too much, and that's one of the best brands around so I wouldn't worry about itt
529  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 6990s in stock: (ALL GONE NOW) on: August 25, 2011, 01:00:21 AM

530  Economy / Gambling / Re: Xtreme HD5830 Sapphire raffle (UPDATED) on: August 24, 2011, 01:39:26 PM
,Good idea, but 17 btc is outrageous, usually when people do raffles like this its for charity, and then it makes sense to bring twice the money in...more power to ya if people buy into this though ^^
531  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Is it worth mining? Component degradation. on: August 24, 2011, 01:29:58 PM
Well, check into the warranty, some are voided if you Overclock, but as long as you manage the heat the cards should last a long time....but that's tough with 6950s they put put alot of fucking heat
532  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: power 2 pc psu with just 1 socket? on: August 24, 2011, 01:26:22 PM
Just put a power strip inside your case

I'd like to announce 2 new products I'm adding to the site today:

* Motherboard Ethernet Jumper Panel Extenders over CAT5.
I'm really excited about these.
These are power/reset switch extenders which allow you connect jumpers to your motherboard and run an ethernet cable from the module to any desired location for the actual switches.
This is a great product for folks who's miners are in inconvenient to reach locations such as basements, local datacenters, server closets, etc. You will now be able to control power/reset from a more convenient location without having to approach the rig.

Are these up yet?

536  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: what else can the mining rig do while its mining? on: August 19, 2011, 04:16:48 AM
Do people in this threa not know about the -F flag? Im running Crysis2 on dual 6870BE's while mining
Just set it to -f250
I've been running -f250 for the past 3months, And the only time i ever need "some more fps" i just set the -f to -f350

This is equivilant to not mining. Or very low hashing anyways
537  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: August 18, 2011, 06:31:03 PM

538  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: is this worth considering? on: August 15, 2011, 01:40:39 PM
Thats going to give serious ripple on the 12v rail...don't buy that
539  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Is 1000W enough for 4 5830s? on: August 13, 2011, 05:04:44 AM
You can always add a second psu...I bought a cheap 750w with dual rails and it wouldn't support 3 5850s so I just added anther psu I had laying around
540  Economy / Goods / Re: [trade or sell] brand new 6950 1gb for 5870 on: August 12, 2011, 08:28:38 PM
