I saw these articles and they all seem to be from 2016. I'm sure these cards weren't back stock from then. Have you checked for the part numbers listed in that article? If yours are not listed there, it is very concerning to say the least, because they were supposed to properly address the issue ages ago. That being said, I am sure if you contact them they will make it right. Keep us posted.

Thank you for sharing. Sorry about your losses.
All of us lost money in the fiat Ponzi scheme - whether we like to admit it or not, but I haven't lost money in a crypto related scam yet. However, I got close to it years back. Memory serves me badly, but it was around 2013/2014 when I bought into a crypto project that I discovered on here. I cannot remember the name of the outfit, but they ran away with our money shortly after the ICO closed. I was not ready to accept it. I contacted them via email and demanded that they pay back all of the money. I gave them 24 hours to pay it back or I would get my friends at Interpol to trace and hunt them down like rabid dogs. Surprisingly enough, they did pay back the money. I am not sure it will work the next time around, but I was glad those scammers were scared and/or decent enough to do the right thing.

Besides increasing the activity we also have to gain merit because in bitcointalk achieving merit is very much important.
What will help us to get the merit?
Share your opinion to help each other. Thank you.
Someone nailed it the other day (and I am paraphrasing): "Merit is like sex, the more you think about it, the less you will get." Keep that in mind.

There's alway some sad feeling going with newbies in any community, including this forum.
Firstly, newbies do not understand all neccesary regulations, thus may easily get hurt when their posts are deleted due to not conforming to rules. Secondly, newcomers are seen and sometimes treated as strangers who trying to get some precious resources from the cummunity. Thirdly, posts by juniors are probably not appreciated and usually passed by senior members (i.e. newbies writing just for other newbies reading, mostly). Forthly, trying to write good posts but not hoping much to get merits as mentioning in another thread obviously another discouraging thought to new members.
Anyway, I think that's quite normal, because all members have experienced such feelings when they just joined this forum. The only matter is how they manage to pass such little akward moments.
What're my solutions? Well, just follows common instruction: reading more, learning much, and trying to contribute useful posts within my current knowlege about cryptocurrency world, as much as I can.
How about you, new guys? Any better ideas?
If it is any consolation, I am a senior member here, but even my posts get deleted some times. I try not to dwell on it, but instead try to make better contributions the next time around. A good attitude, respect for others and a willingness to learn are key. P.S. And don't forget, all legitimate members here had to start from scratch.

I am a Newbie in this highly esteemed forum, I want to know how soon I can start participating in Airdrops/Bounties?
It depends on the requirements of each bounty program, but it is usually the best policy to focus on adding good quality content here first. The rest will follow.

Prevention is better than cure, here are some tips on how to avoid phishing sites:
1.VERIFY SITE'S SECURITY - One of the best ways to avoid phishing site is to verify the site's security, you make sure that the site URL begins with "https" and a closed lock icon near the address bar, when you are using chrome it will be highlighted with a color green and a word "Secure" will be displayed.
2.KEEP YOUR BROWSER UPDATED - Browser's security will also be updated if you update the browser, technically speaking it will modulate the phishers and hackers to break into your account if you update the browser from time to time.
3.THINK BEFORE YOU CLICK - This rule is a general rule, just same as "Think before you speak" the only difference is that if you said it you cannot edit or delete what you said but in clicking to post something you can edit or delete it. This rule also applies to cyberbullying, but in this situation, you must have the initiative to think before you click, do not click on random emails and messages, some of the phishing emails always start with "Dear customer", to be sure you must go directly to the source rather than clicking phishing emails.
4.USE ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE - Antivirus software scans every file which comes through the Internet to your computer. It helps to prevent damage to your system. For me, the majority of online users use antivirus software. If you have no antivirus software then you should install you won't regret it.
Keep these things in mind, Hope it helps!
Thank you. Every bit helps. It is a bit outdated, but you might find this useful as well - even if only in principle: https://www.cryptocoinupdates.com/info/how-to-avoid-phishing-scams-in-the-crypto-space/

Hi guys, trading is still bloody,it is still price correction?I'm afraid to hodl some of my assets maybe it's become shitcoin😂what do you think? #ps.dont mind my English😂
It depends on what you have in your portfolio (quality vs shit), what your appetite for risk is (emotion), what you can afford to lose (reality) and what you're exactly aiming for (future). And you're right, with hodling you do risk becoming the bag holder of shitcoins, especially if you started out with shitcoins (although a rising tide normally lifts all boats - the chance to get rid of the shitcoins). However, hodling can also be the difference between being able to buy a sports car instead of a toy car at the end of the day. Nothing is set in stone. P.S. Send me a private message with more details if you would like to know what I would do based on my personal experiences - if I was in your shoes.

Hi guys, There are a lot of different hardware wallets on the market. What would you suggest for a beginner? The sound of Ledger is pretty good. I have no personal experience with Ledger, but do have personal experience with Trezor. It is not cheap, but is worth every penny. It is secure and convenient to use and support many cryptos. P.S. Regardless of which one you choose, be sure to buy directly from the source or only from an authorized dealer.

Patience is always a secondary thing. First of all, you need to learn how to invest in the right projects. Without this, patience will not do any good.
Very true. This is why I only get involved in and promote projects that I am of the opinion are solid projects with solid long-term prospects. Choose the wrong project and it is easy to become a bag holder at the end of the day through patience and/or hodling.

Hi, I see a lot of members waiting for like 7 days and they didn't getting any profit.. After 14 days the price is dropping.. They screaming on bitcointalk and Twitter.. (some of them ) My answer.. Just wait! - Developers can't work 24 hours a day - don't check the twitter or ANN every hour - a project in blockchain isn't a job for a week.. Be patient.. If you wait a year or a couple of months you get much more profit.haha So true. I've also learned to be patient. Nowadays when I sell at a profit, I always put a healthy portion of the tokens I hold aside for the long-term ( 1 year+) - just in case their is an additional moon shot to write home about. In addition, I've never sold at a lost. I always hodl until I am seeing green. That being said, there are bounty managers and developers who are making promises and giving guarantees that they can't keep - sending token holders from pillar to post. I don't have much patience for such shenanigans. In such instances they deserve to be taken to the cleaners. Otherwise they need to pay the money back to token holders and entertain the shenanigans with their own money.

If all the coins go RED, should you buy the coins that go green?
Buy RED and sell GREEN. P.S. You need to do your due diligence and find out why a certain crypto is in the green while others are in the red. It might be because of a pump and dump. In any case, if you want to buy in, it might be best to wait until it dips into the red. The fundamentals need to be right though. You need to buy it for the right reasons.

I am beginning to be suspicious of the Crypto market. I have been observing the market price movement for sometimes now and I discovered a recurring event in the market. Any time the price of Bitcoin is down the price of virtually all the altcoins follow the same direction. Just like the current state of the market, all the Coins are in Red in coinmarketcap.com and I begin to wonder Why? Must all the Coins go RED at the same time and vice versa? Can someone convince me that this is normal? Can someone convince me that the market movement is not controlled by some tech guys that are using 'code' or some group of whales that manipulate the market price? With this recurring incident, I doubt if the crypto market price movement still obey the economic law of demand and supply. I don't know what you think about this. Share your views, please.
Yes, Bitcoin normally sets the direction of the overall market. That being said, the market is certainly being manipulated by someone with deep pockets. E.g. earlier today, almost all cryptos increased with 5% at the same time.
