Will someone tell me why I do not have my bounty coins? Although I was in campani facebook 2 weeks ago? Can the team respond or will it remain silent?
How many times are you going to post it here? Bounty whore!

He mentioned Veritaseum in a single sentence in this report... sitting like a solid rock on mine It reminds me of that song: "solid as a rock"

I can already see the news headlines: "Badass Reggie Middleton and his Team have accomplished the unthinkable with a Not-So-Badass Website!"

I don't know of any future bounty program but I suspect of there is budget for such program, then I suggest to allocate some small amount on revamping the website appearance/design to make it more modern. Having an attractive website IS a form of marketing, a form of a marketer spreading the words. And this is not supposed to be overlooked if Veritaseum believes in good marketing. No, I don't think having an attractive-looking website needs to be expensive. The skills required for web designing are easy (at least far easier than programming skills). And there are plenty of services that actually help design great-looking websites for a tiny sum of money or even free (ref www.wix.com). Veritaseum should capitalize on such services. So far the feedback I encountered about the website is that it's "straight out of 2002" or something like that. Reggie didnt think the website was an issue back in 2015 when VERI 1 tokens were first offered. He got alot of flak and criticism, over and over, whenever he was on talking on Whalepool/Teamspeak. His opinion was that it was not something he should focus on and was not important, at that time. Considering the same criticisms are resurfacing in the minds of the new observers, surely now its the right time to present something that doesnt look like it belongs in 2002. @Reggie Its time. Hand it over to someone else to work on. Just do it, already. haha That's too funny! You're right, but Reggie is probably too busy to read any messages here at the moment. He posted the following on June 20th in the Slack... "I'm pretty busy this week and next. I'm flying off to another country tomorrow to do due diligence on what may be our first acquisition, that would put us in direct competition with Tesla. I pulled the analysts off the research reports to rush the due diligence. If I pull the trigger, this will be tres exciting! Next week, I'm off to Jamaica to try and woo their stock exchange and central bank into adopting Veritaseum as their core platform for digital assets." By the way: I am not a member of the Veritaseum team. I just like what I see (including the website ) and are trying to help out.

They are working hard behind the scenes to get the actual services in place - to get a jumpstart on the competition! Anything beyond that is a distraction at this stage. I feel sorry for those who make decisions based on the attractiveness of a website. As the old saying goes: "Don't judge a book by its cover." That being said, an attractive-looking, secure and fast website will definitely be a bonus! Seriously the project needs a lot of technical support and possible recruitment of some. Have noticed something and in this sphere of technology they need resource to pull the project on most esp when they could get a successful crowdsale They are in the process of recruiting more people. However, it is not a process that can be finalized in 2-3 weeks.

I suspect that Veritaseum is going to deploy a solution at the end of the day that utilizes both the blockchains of BTC and ETH. A bridge so to speak.

i hold quite abit of veri , i also sold a quitebit of veri. Veriruns and relies on ethereum. I love Veri but ethereumhas many security risks and cannot handle a bunch of crypto icos. Its highly unlikely ethereum is ready for what veri says its gonna do. ethereum network is not ready for prime time
Hopefully a fix will be in sooner rather than later. Bitcoin had the same growing pains and is still not 100% there.

I register for Translate but still not answer,is there official post on bitcointalk for bounty.Thank you
sunce33, here's a quote from Masiah here on Bitcointalk.org "feel free to email me your ERC20 compliant addresses if I haven't contacted you already. masiah@veritaseum.com" This is who you contact about the BOUNTYWhat is this about? Bounty? It is a program that rewarded people for helping to spread the word about Veritaseum. It is closed now. However, Reggie did mention that they are going to re-open it again. You should contact Masiah if you wish to participate when it re-opens.

But Veritaseum is actually 2 things; a platform to trade derivatives of financial products and service where u can buy crypto research. am i right?
Yes, those things form part of the mix, but are not the only things Veritaseum will offer. what other things will they offer we should know about? They will for example offer the opportunity to loan instead of selling our VERI tokens to users that need to use the tokens. Any product or value that can be digitized can be offered by Veritaseum in the final equation in a peer to peer economy, earmarked by bankless, trustless transactions. Great! glad i have a couple of Veritas. If i want for example buy a derivative of a stock via Veritaseum what are the transaction costs? only normal gas price? They still need to announce all of the details, but as far as I know - and I could be wrong - VERI tokens will be needed along with a small allocation of ETH to cover the gas cost. Either that or purely VERI tokens.

WTF just happened with Veritaseum? Is this a pump and dump or some news came out we don't know about? Network congestion problems on the ETH network and rumors that Coinbase got hacked are causing some to panic. Veritaseum is still solid.
|
|
|
Indeed. The congestion on the network is a concern. http://ethgasstation.info/calculator.php provides a calculator to estimate gas to time at the current block delays. While keeping large amounts of anything on an exchange is probably a bad idea, Coinbase is probably the last exchange that would be hacked. They maintain a large amount of cold wallets to prevent damage such as stolen funds. Many of us don't like this kind of news - and for good reason. However, even if Coinbase was hacked and ETH is on its last legs in terms of congestion, there is still hope. I mean, there were Mt. Gox, Cryptsy and others. Enough bitcoin network congestion to make our heads spin. We thought it to be the end of the world and many of us lost a lot, but we came out stronger at the other end. We have to continue to place our trust in the power of the crypto! P.S. Either that or we should get ready to go fight the banksters' hot wars for them.

In addition, it is not the lottery for us. If that was the case, we would have been out already.
How? Many of us are already sitting in the long green grass. If we wanted to, we could have sold all via EtherDelta, converted it and make out like bandits. However, since we don't see it as the lottery, but a project with solid prospects, we're in it for the long run.
|
|
|
cant deposit eth on etherdelta, problems with this site?
Do you have enough gas to make the deposit?
