Two things guys: what is wrong with the ETH network at the moment? Is it jammed up? Transactions either failing or taking forever and some exchange wallets are not allowing deposits/withdrawals in ETH due to a clogged system. What's up??

As far as I know the ETH network overall is fine, but a couple of nodes within the network are struggling to handle all the traffic generated by ICOs such as the Status ICO of yesterday. MEW is a victim of its own popularity. You have to make sure that a transaction has failed before attempting a new transaction. Otherwise a transaction might be duplicated if there is enough tokens in the wallet to feed each. |

Gen, I keep all my fingers crossed for you that everything works out perfectly for you!!! A little to my person: I NEVER ever ever ever... played one lottery ticket in my life and IŽ m getting close to 40 now.  IŽm a pretty logical thinking person and know how big/little my chances are to win in a system like this. I was twice in my life in a casino and went twice home with more money than I entered but I know that `FortunaŽ was with me and that you can only loose the more often you play these games. But when it comes to blockchain I see the huge thing behind it and what it means to our world in the future, not to mention the government debts all over our world. If governments dont win the coming (or allready present) `warŽ on cryptos we are gonna go through a change in human history never seen before. This is why we need to win this ongoing war and need the support of as many people as possible. I don't think people realize what is at stake. You can choose more wars, destruction and to get fleeced until you have nothing left to offer and all wealth is accumulated in the hands of an evil few... or you can stand up, join the crypto revolution and make a real difference for once in your life! Many might be initially drawn to only the monetary benefits cryptos offer, but when they do their due diligence and get to the bottom of it, it is almost impossible not to see the bigger picture, except if one is blind as a bat. Even if one is here merely for the monetary benefits, don't feel bad! We're still in the early phases of this crypto revolution. The cost for 1 coin is $15 though. If I count right the ICO price was $4 so that is 4 times as much, should probably go down in price later as most coins that come from ICO does? Better to hold off for a while?
These are IOU (I Owe You) markets, on which you can already trade coins that are not available yet. These prices are not accurate, they are determined by buyers who could not get in the ICO and are now willing to pay high above marketprice. Where did you get the market price if it is not listed besides on IOU markets? As for now, you cant Bad or good - the only market price we have now is the market price determined by IOUs. |

No way, I disagree... you can't get ahead of yourself at the moment in this brave new world of crypto... it's the new gold rush but there IS actually gold in them there mountains for real. If you snooze, you will lose right now... time to run with it and be excited. For some of us, this crypto opportunity in general is a once in a lifetime opportunity for real. I have no other way of advancing my future. I am not a brilliant guy, I don't have the fortitude to run my own business because I don't have the confidence to succeed in things like that, I have missed decent chances all my life because I'm just not a successful guy really. I have lots of regrets and I never thought I would even own my own house really or ever have a decent retirement to look forward to. I have a wife and I always wanted a few nice things for her sake really... but when I say "nice things" I don't mean luxury I mean standard stuff that most people aim for. Cryptos are now offering all that out to me with both hands. I cannot help but let my mind race. If you offered a starving person a nice hot meal he would jump at it... this is how I feel. I don't want to rush to the point of making mistakes and having yet another failure in my life to cry about, but I do want to rush in while a decent door is open (eg: like a good quality ICO) and I do want to dare to dream this could be "the one". For once in my life I don't have to be the loser at the bottom of everything. The look my old dad gave me when I told him the return my latest investment had already netted X% in a couple of weeks made me feel like he was proud of me. I felt like a success already even just being able to say this thing was up ten times since buying (of course it is up a lot more now and will continue to moon I am sure). I jumped in on VERI (also thanks to JSnip4 for that shout out as he got me sniffing round it with a couple of days left in the ICO) and it looks to be a life changer for me, or at least a massive step up to where I want to be. I hope for the best for all of us genuine guys and gals in this forum (not the trolls) that we get what we need from VERI. For me, I am seriously thinking long term for most of my holdings now after I have seen the way this seems to be going. I think it will pop, drop a bit then go up nicely long term - it's a buy and hold for sure. Plus, you could even use it for the reason it exists too!!  Also, an exchange will be set up I am sure whereby institutions rent the coins from you instead of buying them. Hey, anyone who knows what they are doing could invent that exchange right now and be the first mover!! Anyway, yeah just felt like pouring it all out on a post LOL. That's the spirit! |

Who exactly claimed it is an accurate price? Don't be an asshole on the back of your own assumptions. We're happy because it got listed. It's not really listed is it? Only on HitBTC It's IOU token even this token is listed on Bittrex and Liqui but they are waiting to hear from the team for activation of this token. I hope it will be over $10 when this market will open these exchanges. Where you see it's on Bittrex? I've tried ETH/BTC-BNT can't find it. And paul, on the back of my own assumptions?... You literally...literally...cannot go off of that. I read a post "HitBTC is there for investors in the US who can't get into ICO's" ... LOL...yeah, anyone with the money to pay 5x+ for 'futures' will have the discipline to look up an ICO, and invest within the period given.
