Coindesk finally ran an article on us as well. They didn't run an article on the #1 asset in cryptoland. They didn't run an article on the best performing asset in cryptoland They didn't run an article on the precedent setting deal with the Jamacain stock exchange, a first in the crypto universe.
But they did manage to run a hit piece on a hacking with some undfounded negative inferences.
It's pretty shitty that online media has been so obviously biased, ignoring all the achievements yet being happy to report on the hack cast suspicions (which is suspicious of Coindesk in it's self). I hope the hackers get caught and end up in prison, stealing and also tarnishing Veritaseums reputation should come with concequences. Anyway, I have a feeling Reggie is not someone to mess with which is good if you hold Veri and believe in the project. I think we do carry some responsibility to provide valid critisism when needed but we shouldn't be going as far as slander and promoting conclusions with no validity based on pure speculation. Not all online media is like that. This site looks shitty, but has been fighting the good fight since day one: https://www.cryptocoinupdates.com/?s=veritaseum

Anyone else having problems with the presale? I get "Bad Jump Destination" error. I have done lots of ICOs with MEW, I have the data field as per the instructions. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
Keep in mind that you have to send the equivalent of $10,000 in ETH to get in during the pre-ICO.

WTF thats retarded - if you put in a really low sell order on poloniex and it executes like on Ether Delta do you think you can call support and ask them to undo the trade? It takes 5 mins to learn etherdelta 5mins! You just have to begin the 1st step
1. 5 min study
I have to agree. EtherDelta is not difficult to use and it is much cheaper to use than the centralized exchanges.

New video from Reggie. Not much new or interesting other than he's basically NOT going to tell us about the medical project in the near future. https://t.co/f0Q8OMyrQehaha Not much? What about Clif High's interview with Reggie on Wednesday?

What does this mean for Veritaseum (and other cryptos)? It remains to be seen, but I wouldn't stress about it. It is clear from the Terms & Conditions of participation in the "ICO" that Veritaseum has seen this coming. However, in worst case scenario, I am sure they will move the company to another more friendly jurisdiction if needed. The SEC is certainly not the Alpha and the Omega.

Word of the Day...#VERITIZE!
Did yall SEE that new video from Reggie Middleton about the RENT/LEND software application that Veritaseum is building?
Did you SEE that 1:100 push on that GUI?!?!
We ALL should be spreading the WORD about Veritsaeum and supporting the IMAGE and MONUMENTAL success and potential by wearing #Veritaseum T-Shirts!
When your friends and strangers and loved one's see you and ask..."What is Veritaseum"...you can have the august honor and pleasure of telling them all about it.
That video was time stamped JULY 7, 2017. That is 21 days ago! Man, Veritaseum is getting BUSY and moving fast!
Network effect is in FULL effect!
spam. people rather buy Veri itself than a thirt. Brand awareness is important. Some will buy the t-shirts and others won't. Some will call it spam and others won't. To each his own.

Dont bet the farm on that, the law was not in force when the ICO happened. I would be more concerned of new ICO's, but thew will just go into other jurisdictions, like asia for example. In addition, I've never heard of a lawfully registered company that is not allowed to sell licenses and/or tokens needed to access its software.

another hacked ICO. but looks like the price is still holding on. though there is still no major exchange.
The ICO was not hacked.

The wallet address is in an earlier post in this thread, however it will be impossible to track them, since they got gobbled up by buyers in a matter of hours and swapped for ethers or bitcoin, so its no way to know as an outsider what has happened.
So no transparency then in this transparent system ? This is the reason people trust in the blockchain but seems like it's not happening here - time to move on Why are you expecting transparency here? Veritaseum is a one man show. One person controls practically all of the coins. Only a miniscule percentage has been released in the wild to prop up the price with the help of duffers who will pay $250 for a coin. He can hack himself again and again and nobody will be any wiser. Thats not true half was up for grabs, but 2 million only where sold, people had other things to do, so dont say that a minuscule amount was "released" it was a minuscule interest of buying, and now its a huge will to start crying rivers. More than half. 51 million was up for sale during the ICO. The market bought less than 2 million.

The market cap of veritaseum is over than 350 million dollars but we're still forced to trade it only etherdelta Exchange thing. I can't understand why the team can't make the coin get on a real Exchange like bittrex?
LOL Thats a good one Yeah haha, however i read that no new Ico's has been added for a while, its some kinda congestion they say. Nah, congestion is not the problem. They have added plenty of other tokens, but choose not to play fair when it comes to VERI.

Since the owners of the company issue and control 99% of the tokens, it would seem the $8 million would be be more than the entire capitalization of the company itself making the outstanding tokens null and void. Easy to print money when money has a value but outside of the capital raised theres no real value in these tokens to date.
So to keep it real...
How can we access the Veritaseum blockchain to see how the funds were stolen, what wallets they came from and how they were moved ?
In the interest of transparency this would be a good thing - without this who is to say the company didnt sell the funds themselves and "hack" themselves ?
Keep it real by getting your facts straight before posting here, otherwise you will just be ignored.

It should be rephrased: “First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, they you ignore them, then they fight you, and then you beat the living daylight out of them!”

I love the ignore button. I am trying to be a better man by not feeding it (too much).
