I am looking forward to the test results and I believe that devs will release a new version soon. Deepsend is about to change the privacy level. Keep up! everyone who works hard Yes, the devs are doing a great job with DeepSend, they are currently testing it so I guess they will release it very soon. Just working of a couple changes for DeepSend now. Should have a new version for Mod testing soon!  Do you absolutely have to be a mod to test? I would not mind doing some testing as I can test on a few different platforms. The other thing I'm curious about... will there be ANY difference of installation? The reason I ask is that a day or two before official release I would like to be the "test dummy" if there is any difference. I have a feeling we might have lost a few people when we went from 1.x to 2.x because they did not understand that it was easy, just different. If there is going to be a problem I would rather it be me as I am hard to get rid of  Installing DeepOnion is easy because devs use the simple update way, with the QT wallet you get the newest version, remember always to create a backup before updating anything! Yes, it is easy but people (including me) did not read the instructions closely enough with the small difference when updating from 1.x to 2.x and then a lot of posts about not syncing and balances being wrong. @Bizul quickly set me on the correct method and it went smooth as silk. I did not like seeing posts that were talking down DeepOnion and people talking about giving up. It does not look good for people who might be looking at entering the project. Just thought I would offer to be the "test dummy" if there are ever any changes like that in the future as I am not limited to one device and if it is possible to make a mistake I will do it Then we know we might need extra emphasis on some detail of the upgrade. |

ive tested the experience as a newcomer.
downloaded wallet, downloaded quicksync chain, run the wallet, installed the blockchain, and 3min later i had a working deeponion wallet fully synced into mainnet.
thats exactly how it should be. while many other gave up, deeponion only got stronger.
In the vast majority of cases when people have trouble installing the Wallet it is because they missed/forgot a step (been there, done that). The few remaining issues are always taken care of immediately by the Dev team. My rule of thumb is, if many others are getting installed and running and mine is not, then the problem is likely me |

What can we say here? The unequivocal advice is received to be evacuated. In fact, 30 days is enough to withdraw assets. If someone stores assets on the exchange and does not look there for a long time, he will be unpleasantly surprised ... And sometimes you don't even get a 30 day warning or even 30 minutes. Remember the Cryptopia lesson. |

I have a big issue. I have registered an account at the official DO Forum ( https://deeponion.org/community) in 2017. I have used an unique Email Adress, only for the forum. This adress is hidden in the forum. Since few days, I get heaps of scam mails on my email account. What happened? Was the page hacked? I am going to say unlikely hacked. What is more likely (I have received scam/spam like this), they send to a bunch of similar looking addresses. i.e. bct_all@here.com, bct_a11@here.com, bct_anon@here.com, etc. I think if it was a hack of DeepOnion email list that everyone would be getting the same emails. |
