701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can any government ban Bitcoin? on: March 12, 2018, 12:39:20 PM
If btc opposes the regulations or exceed the limitations of the government then maybe that's the time btc will be ban in a country. As of now, I don't see any problems to ban btc in a country. Government always has the authority so they can do it.
The main task of bitcoin is not to go against the actions of the government. It is better for them to begin to work together and find common solutions.

The state can intervene in all spheres of activity. It does not matter whether we want it or not. They sometimes violate even laws, but it is considered that this is done to protect your interests.
703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people invest in bitcoin? on: March 11, 2018, 03:55:47 PM
In any case, if you are interested in the topic of cryptocurrency, then you can earn money here. This factor is important for taking part in this market.
704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people invest in bitcoin? on: March 11, 2018, 03:52:49 PM
I believe that this is a good form of passive income. You just need to set the right programs and you can earn nothing.
But besides passive income, there are many other ways to make money on this currency. People are finishing regular work for the sake of working on the cryptocurrency market.
705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people invest in bitcoin? on: March 11, 2018, 03:49:33 PM
I think that bitcoin can be interesting for everyone. Those who have a permanent job, those who are engaged in freelancing, those who do not have a job. The main thing is to understand the basic processes and mechanisms and to choose the way to earn money on the crypto-currency market.
706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: March 09, 2018, 02:46:13 PM
When creating a cyber currency anonymous, calling himself Satoshi Nakamoto, took for example not existing financial systems, but the process of mining and turnover of valuable metals. Therefore, Bitcoin can be called virtual gold rather than electronic money, since it has much in common with precious metal.
Yes, this is due to some characteristics. Namely:
1) The number of bitcoins is limited
2) Bitcoin is not printed, but is mined
3) The right to extract (issue) new virtual coins is available to any user of the network
4) Bitcoin can not be faked.
The fourth point is very important. As I think. A normal dollar is easy to forge. This is a big shortage of fiat money. Not only in the US such a problem
But as far as I know, the ways of issuing new banknotes from different countries change and only get better.
But sooner or later swindlers can forge this bill. It will be enough to get knowledge from those people who print our money.

Hi the system team,
don't stop development and lying all the hope and strength solely on the law suit,
Or.....the whole community will lose confidence,
because we can easily conclude, all you care is the IPO money, not the syscoin itself.
And if you can't get the money back, then.....
I know you always claim you never give up syscoin, but that's your own slogan,
we just want to check what you've done, instead of what you have spoken.

Hope the updated roadmap with new timeline won't be broken again.
Or it will hurt the confidence on your team deeply.

As much as i (an active community member, and fellow substantial stakeholder) whole heartedly disagree with this, theres no point in dwelling, to each his own opinion, but you misconceived something i assure you

Your team does not consist of only one or two guys, but several ones.
It's not acceptable that all of you are dedicated to the law suit.

Or we can have the following possible conclusion(As a big stakeholder, I don't want to see these ones):
1. the team is organised awfully. If so, the coin will be hopeless.
2. actaully some of the members has already quit the team, so when the left are puting all their effort to get money back, no remain human resources to continue the develop.

1. As a project manager myself speaking to someone who appears to want to critique others management, have you considered how each of the dev's have existing full time jobs, lives (gf's and/or kids), and needs occasional rest (obviously). Also on top of this, check the most recent road map updates, they have alot of finished work being released soon, if nothing was to be released in the next month: i would have to agree with you, but thats not the case. The info is there farther up in the thread.

2. What makes you think someone quit? Who was it? I'm admitting i may have missed something, but im %85 sure youre wrong. Even if someone did quit, they must not have fulfilled a very substantial role, because the development has not stopped. Also even if someone quit, have you seen recently the rise of a number of community members all stepping up and doing something? You say one (may have) left, i can think of atleast 6 usernames off the top of my head that have recently been alot more active/supportive of all resources/talents they have to offer (myself included here)

So, if you have some real information for all us fellow investors, please do some good and share, obviously a number of folks would be effected and would need to be taken into consideration by those of us active/supportive members mentioned above.

Else, GTFO dude

Did you really got what I meant?
The logic of my comment is: if the team put all their effort on the law suit without development, then the conclusion in the "Or...." part would stand.

No one know how long the law suit will last, if the development stalled during the period, isn't the coin destined to die?

My **hope** is that the law suit just slow down the development rather than stop it.

-----
And, please come down, and don't say the F*CK words in the thread, it's no good for the coin.
As for me, the source codes of syscoin even have several patches from me, so I actually contribute more than most ones in this thread.

I am caring about the development more than the legal action againt mintpal.

Hope development would not been lagged too much.

Another week and no progress or sign of the new release......

As I mentioned previously, when we got the test versions of the release from before, the load times were almost unbearable due to the changes only being probably half done. So Boris has been optimizing and working to fix it all week. We actually have a much faster version almost ready. He is working hard on it as we speak and the new developer is working on refactoring all of the code which will improve performance even more. I will keep you posted on this newest version as much as I can.

Any clue to make it runnable in a 512MB memory box?

Existing version has a unacceptable memory consumption that at least 4GB memory is required.

syscoin: Updated 7 days ago
blockmarket: Updated on 5 Oct
syscoin-api: Updated on 5 Oct
syscoin-services: Updated on 19 Sep
node-syscoin: Updated on 14 Sep
======
Is it resonable and acceptable for a team with many developers?

I know you are involved in legal affairs, but.....
if even the chief coder i.e coderboo is involved fully, than I must say that the team is organized pooly.
You guys should have responsibility divided to the right one, each for some specific aspect rather than let everyone involved in everything.

Maybe I am wrong because you have some private repositories to have all your recent work.

the dev still show nothing?
I am out at 700 sat, but still pity for this.

we bagheld ourselves and some stupid assholes are trying to fool newbies with evasive words.

do not fall for all vague promises.

and be honest, bista even do not care to spread his vague fake promises.
cyberhacker, my words are not fake promises.

Aha, you are online finally.

Could you post some progress here?

Seems another many days without any progress.

Did the team decide to release announcement at specific day regularly instead of report to community every day?

OR.....just have no progress actually, so nothing to report.

Currently seems only a board member named Litoshi is still active, and the core team member are...inactive anymore.

Will the BTC and SYS held by moolah still be safe for the sys team?

When would they release them to you?

The fund held by them is critical to support the team on developing.
