Release candidate?
Are you kidding me?

It's definitely ALPHA quality!!

What's this?

Wallet encrypted I take it.
Help / Debug window / Console
walletpassphrase "your wallet password" 5000 true
The 5000 is the total time it will be unlocked.

So, why we need the new UI for alias?
just go to the console and do all the tasks.

And, what the hell can I get the instruction when I want to do something on alias?

Just adding another input box for the password under the already exists two input boxes,
and invoking the command under the hood when I click the "OK" button is trivial, right?

Don't tell me that you have no the capability to implement them.

Man, don't be so harsh to the developers, just report the issues ,they will fix them.

I am angry because even I submit patches to fix some known issues in previous version,
they still let the issue be there untouched in this later version,
even though they have already accepted the patch.

I can't bear the attitude, as a big whale, I can't stop my anger.

issue 2:  in the alias searching tab, after I input the to be searched term, I must click the search button,
because "ENTER" key does not work, that's counterintuitive

You need to follow what everyone else is doing and follow the links provided. You maybe bringing up issues already being addressed / investigated.

Did you see the PM I sent to you and danosphere about the patch I gave(I don't want to mention it here)?

I am quite disappointed when I saw the wallet, in many aspects.

It made me recall what happend during the launch,
and my confidence on the team rebuilt slowly after that now collapsed again.

A RC version should not in such a quality.

You guys should at least test it in a virtual machine with pure clean environment first before release a version with new feature to avoid such stupid issues.

As a big whale, god bless me to see better professionality and proficiency of you from now on.

Roadmap Status Update

So just to give an update on where everything stands, here is a quick rundown:

The block explorer was released and is working great: http://live.crypti.me/

The Windows Wallet is in final testing with Litoshi, Samsmith16, Dev Team, and people from IRC. It's solid, no major issues as of right now, and almost ready for primetime. As Boris mentioned, we would love to be able to release it tomorrow but I refuse to make promises.

Custom chains are well on their way and farther along than most of you probably think. However we are still sticking to our "it's ready when it's ready" deadline.

Web Design: I will be sending text and a mock-up to the web designer today or tomorrow to start work on the re-do of the website.

Video Production: Once the new logo / colors / and design are set by the new designer, the Video team is on standby to start production, this won't take long once they start.

Those are the items currently listed on our 1-3 month timeline and I would say it's highly likely all will be complete by mid to late October as a rough estimate if not sooner. Then we will move on to the 3-6 month items. I hope this helps give you an idea of where we are at in regards to the items on the list.

Glad to see "Custom chains are well on their way and farther along than most of you probably think."

Please keep us to be informed for later progress.

We supporters are eager to know any bit of the news on this point.

Any plan for MAC client?

I think it's much easier than Win client.

We will provide sh scripts for Mac.
But now it's very easy if you can work with terminal.

Why not a drag and drop app?
I don't think much effort will be involved for it.
but it will be more friendly for MAC users, especially non-technical ones.

What I concerns the most is not what the NODE supporters said,
but how's going with the custom chain development,
and the release date of SDK, which claimed to be in 15th Sept in the roadmap.

When devs promised to launch custom blockchains initially, in September?
Same question.

Seems the dev progress is far from the initial schedule,
We even can't have a working Win client, not mentioning a mac one.

And in fact, custom blockchain to enable various apps is the core feature of xcr,
but....sadly to say we can't see any progress on it.

the dev team should be enlarged with more developers to accelerate the progress.

I have a question on the data bloating problem.

traditional mining only rely on algorithm without the need for additional historical data,
both PoW and PoS follow this rule.

But it seems crypti need additional data for forging,
for example, for PoT, up time of each node is recorded,
if this data is embeded in the block chain,
it will cause a severe data bloating problem because it's not scalable with the number of forging nodes.

Can you developers clarify it for me?

thanks.

dev,are you still around?

do you abandon NUD?
Yes, he is creating new coin, Magicoin

which exchange? i would like to buy some.

Why would you buy any Magicoin, considering Nud coin?

He is a famous brain damaged guy in Chinese crypto currency community :-)

~ trimmed large quote explaining marketplace feature via console ~

A question for the devs :

Is it safe to assume this process will be streamlined in 0.1.5 or 0.1.6? What about through outside development like was posted a while back? (I forget who posted it) I'm kind of assuming it will be streamlined, but I just wanted to ask. At face value using syscoin looks like more of a hassle than using a darknet marketplace, so naturally people will opt out of using syscoin for the time being.

100% these features will be streamlined in the wallet. Right now its looking like 0.1.6 will be the update which contains those changes as we need to update the roadmap around 0.1.5 as we made more progress than expected and thus will have a 0.1.5 release out AHEAD of the marketplaces release. This will change 0.1.6 to being the marketplaces "marketing" release we will include interfaces in the wallet for marketplace interaction, web examples/interfaces (which we already have working but we're trying to improve them before calling them "done") and there will also be a number of enhancements to the "offers" services themselves in the 0.1.6 release and its related marketing effort.

Roadmap will be updated as soon as we have a hard date for the new 0.1.5 release and there will be an associated blog post.

The big topic we were discussing today within the team is how to create an item for sale and rather than pricing it in SYS, price it in a currency that is then converted to SYS using exchange-rates at the time of offerpay. This way people could sell an item and know they were getting the correct amount of SYS regardless of market price at the time of listing the item.

OK

I'm beginning to remove some of the sell pressure I placed on this coin so the price can naturally rise again

Are you a big whale?
How many sys do you have?

I don't see too much change,
still a lot of sell orders especially in Bittrex.

About Bter.

We changed blockchain to 0.1.6c to fast sync, something wrong with previous versions (0.1.6b) in sync.
I sent version 0.1.6c to tests to our QA and yesterday guys from our IRC channel tested it too.

Soon will be release Windows/Linux/Mac OS 0.1.6c version.

Among all the features,
the one I concern the most is custom blockchain,
which makes crypti different from the left world of crypto currency.

Is it delayed?
Or we can expect it to be released in time as claimed before?

man..what happened here? :\

nothing, just some FUDers, conspiracy theory people, and somebody who thinks this thread is an exchange.

^^ This. Sorry for the mess we'll have someone fulltime to manage this stuff ASAP. I do have a dayjob + higher priority Syscoin imperatives.

What?Huh You still have a day job and only treat the development of syscoin as a part time job when you have free time??

Even when you got 1500BTC(Of course I know you have not received all of them till now), and syscoin is in such a tough situation?!

Are you guys respecting syscoin seriously?

Are you guys respesting us investors seriously?

I don't want to see my concern to be deleted in this thread.

I want your direct explaination.

We need clear roadmap and changelog.

Till now, everything is messed up.

We can't get a clear vision about what's going on now.
