401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi was assassinated by The Bitcoin Foundation? New evidence coming in on: August 14, 2014, 08:38:13 PM
It looks like a very unusual suicide. Time will reveal the truth.

Do not count on that.

I agree, whistle blowers have a way of being silenced, thats exactly what it seemed like was happening earlier this year when several bankers happened to "commit suicide" by jumping off buildings.  The truth is probably out there somewhere, but it may never see the light of day.
402  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin BULL/Rally Forming? on: August 14, 2014, 08:33:07 PM
Seems like a drop off like this always happens before a rally, I wouldnt be surprised if were back over $600 soon.
403  Economy / Speculation / Re: Quit second guessing yourself - You know you are, stop right now! on: August 14, 2014, 08:29:49 PM
I agree, the fundamentals have not changed, and also the phrase "to da moon" needs to stop.  This does nothing but make bitcoin into a ponzi like scheme, which is designed to bubble.  Market cap is still huge, now is NOT the time to sell
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ethereum and bitcoin: two things you need to know on: August 14, 2014, 08:07:48 PM
Bitcoin price is tumbling and people are running scared.  Uh oh.  Hasn't this happened before?

To make sense of this latest speculation fiasco, you only need to know two things:

1. People who missed the Bitcoin boom (buying BTC at $1-$10, for example) are DESPERATE to invest in TNBG (The Next Big Thing).  Hence, ethereum and all the other altcoins-du-jour

2. The cryptocurrency market is NOT BIG ENOUGH to support more than one altcoin. Period. End of story.  So all of these other altcoins will bubble up, then fizzle out.

Dr. Michael Moriarty

I fully agree, and my opinion is that every dollar that goes into an altcoin, is a vote against BTC.

I also think there is no real reason for BTC to rise largely.  Whales can make loads of money just by knowing when to get in and out, no price increase necessary.
405  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Casascius 0.5 BTC Coins *Excellent* on: August 14, 2014, 05:45:01 PM

No definitely not!  I don't think its advised to do so either!
406  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone is panic selling their BTC on: August 14, 2014, 02:30:03 PM
Yikes, just went under $500, now I am a little concerned

How did the big bang happen?

Nothing turned into something?

Thats what evolutionists want you to believe, that the ONE time in history that matter was created out of thin air, it just so happened to create 98% of all matter that exists in the universe today.  If thats not a fairy tale I dont know what is!!!!!
411  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: **BUY** - Investment: 5000$ - looking for Spondoolies sp30-August on: August 13, 2014, 08:20:38 PM
Any offer send me a PM.. Please do NOT put the offer as comment.. (Prefer confidentiality) ..Thanks!  Smiley

You "Prefer confidentiality" so you come to a bitcoin forum...and want to use ebay/paypal.  That doesn't make sense.

So? what is the problem? Is there a rule that prohibits this? ..I come to a bitcon forum because I don't see any sp30 pre-order or ad on Ebay yet..  Undecided

Using Paypal is not confidential.  And clearly paypal can lead to chargebacks and scamming.

413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is CIA or NSA project (excessive moderation of topic suggested by ibt) on: August 13, 2014, 06:39:11 PM
Its interesting to note Gavin Andresen has never met "Satoshi" or spoken to him on the phone.  It reminds me of exactly how Edward Snowden first contacted Glenn Greenwald without revealing his identity, and Snowden had CIA background.  Also makes sense that the CIA would not worry about holding a million or so BTC, thats just a drop in the bucket for them.  Really makes you think...
414  Economy / Speculation / Re: Back over $600 again, here we go? on: August 13, 2014, 01:55:47 PM
Looks like $525 was a good buy opportunity.  Hope some were able to catch it while it lasted!

bitcoin is going to nowhere but down

soon be time to delete your account and create rissssing

no need for that

BTC still at over 7 BILLION market cap.  You must know every single whale and every single person on this forum to be so sure with your speculative crash predictions.

Note that were still way up from where we were just at the beginning of june
417  Economy / Goods / Re: FS: 3D Printer on: August 13, 2014, 01:30:06 AM
Do you need any special software package to run this?  And do you know the print size limitations?  Thanks!
418  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why did BTC drop to $570 level? on: August 12, 2014, 06:49:52 PM
There is no logical explanation for this price drop, the only one i can think of is the ethereum ipo sale. In the long term this is just another good opportunity to enter the market, every little drop helps you to accumulate more and more coins.

Use the low price and buy more coins, longterm it can only go up.

I agree, a sudden unexplained drop seems to often come before a price increase.  I wouldn't be surprised if the price jumps back up to the $600 range in the next few days, or possibly higher.
419  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Casascius 0.5 BTC Coins on: August 12, 2014, 05:13:11 PM
