81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: February 21, 2016, 02:27:11 PM
Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin.
No one will offer services for Bitcoin.
Spend Your Bitcoins.

nah, i don't agree.
it is not yet time to spend bitcoin. the value of bitcoin is going to go up and you will lose if you spend them.

but if there is a good place to spend them (a service that i like) for example steam, i won't hesitate to spend my coins.

Spend a part and save a part. Everybody's happy.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are in Bitcoin Heaven on: February 21, 2016, 03:47:47 AM
We've always been in BTC heaven, so uh...that's pretty decent. I must say that I have been trying to get back to the main reason why some people are afraid of BTC. Some people say the reputation. Others say because it doesn't look like real money. I for one think it's deeper than that

Yeah always we won't be in the heaven. When there is a decrease in price most get into the hell thinking its gonna fail, but trusted users still be in bitcoin heaven. The volatile nature is the reason for such cause.

Sure, bitcoin is volatile, but if you plays it smart it doesn't have to be hell. Just small predictable movements.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: February 21, 2016, 03:43:59 AM
Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities? Do you know any currency that isn't used for illegal activities? Of course it is.
84  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: February 21, 2016, 03:42:55 AM
Why buy a bitcoin today when you could buy two bitcoins tomorrow?
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: February 21, 2016, 03:41:02 AM
Yeah, you're gonna have to wait for a long time until that will happen.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Washington Post: 'R.I.P. Bitcoin. It’s time to move on' on: February 21, 2016, 02:05:00 AM
I think everyone in Bitcoinland suffers from Stockholm syndrome. The article isn't that bad or incredibly incorrect.

So you think bitcoin is going downhill before it's even all mined?
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Washington Post: 'R.I.P. Bitcoin. It’s time to move on' on: February 20, 2016, 01:59:47 PM
Seeing as how the price bumped right up I don't think there is any need for such news that try to manipulate the price. I know what they're trying to do but it won't work.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin v. Bitcoin on: February 20, 2016, 01:55:58 PM
If litecoin would have been so great this forum would be named litecointalk and everyone would chase it. But bitcoin has shown its value and that's obvious.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Work colleagues laugh at me getting into Bitcoin on: February 20, 2016, 01:54:41 PM
I have been telling my work colleagues about bitcoin now for about 3 years and they still think its a big joke.  I dont care because i believe that some day i will be the one Laughing......  I think alot of it is people dont like things they dont understand and would rather make fun off it.

So was just wondering has anyone else on here had similar experiences and how did you deal with it?   Wink

Yes, I had very similar experience.
A lot of my friends was and are still very skeptic about bitcoin.
Even my wife thinks that I'm loosing my time and money on useless things on Internet Smiley
How I deal with it?
I don't talk any more about this subject.
I keep silent, collecting my bitcoin funds and waiting for bitcoin revolution Smiley
After that, I will be the one Laughing.

That's the best strategy. Even if you do. You're learning and dealing with money not playing games.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: February 20, 2016, 01:53:10 PM
I don't think 1 BTC is that much of an investment so as not to be able to cut your losses if that were to happen.
91  Economy / Economics / Re: US Debt Has Exploded on: February 20, 2016, 01:50:06 PM
I don't agree that the taxes are not enough to pay the debit as US is always known for their financial status. Even increasing taxes is not a long term solution as it will indirectly affect people financially.
I guess they will not bother this. If USA really in a debt, there can not be issues for the citizens as the Government know how to settle their dues by increasing the taxes of the companies rather than the citizens. They never care about future consequences and about people too.

You increase the taxes on companies and a lot of people end up losing their jobs.

This is happening in other countries as well, not just the US. And I don't think it's a good idea.
92  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: February 20, 2016, 01:48:24 PM
It's ironic that the OP is named Financial Genius. Maybe he should already know how things are. No offense.
93  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: February 20, 2016, 01:44:05 PM
Women are being motivated and already started showing interest to bitcoin. I am noticing that lots of women searching about bitcoin and asking how to make money with bitcoin on facebook and other social sites.

That's great to hear that women are showing interest into bitcoins, as women participation will take adoption to the next level which would directly contribute to much higher price of bitcoins in future.

I do not contest that there are some female specialists that are using and will use bitcoin, but I'm curious how much will women actually contribute.

95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where you get bitcoin news every day ? on: February 20, 2016, 01:39:37 PM
I think this forum is the best source for bitcoin information.

Yeah, you can get all information related to bitcoins on this forum, so its better to spend some time here on  daily basis, which would surely add value to our knowledge related to bitcoins.

There are plenty of news right here that are updated almost in real time. Best place.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Work colleagues laugh at me getting into Bitcoin on: February 20, 2016, 01:38:39 PM
After you'll make a nice profit, if you'll decide to tell then, I'd just like to be there to see their faces.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: block halving date on: February 20, 2016, 01:37:12 PM
Of course you're asking about the date because you don't want to miss the halving party, right?
98  Economy / Digital goods / Re: What's the price of Hero member accounts ? on: February 20, 2016, 01:35:02 PM
I don't think you'll find hero account at 0.1 BTC. Too cheap. IT should be something like 0.4 - 0.5 in my opinion.
99  Other / Off-topic / Re: The craziest shit you can buy with bitcoins right now? on: February 20, 2016, 01:25:57 PM

I don't really think that anyone that has a really successful method is going to tell you. You just have to work for it and slowly it will grow.
