81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can world Government Kill Crypto? on: April 26, 2018, 10:21:52 PM
"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks

It can happen, but i don't think it really happen in the future, even there are so many countries that forbid their people using cryptocurrencies in their country, but i don't think world goverment will kill crypto globally.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Alt Coins are a scam. on: April 26, 2018, 10:19:47 PM
Well this is what the insightful Tone Vays claims...

He claims that ETH, DASH, shit 99.5% of all the ALTS are scams and the only coin that will survive is Bitcoin.

So l guess we should all sell our Alts now!

Who is Tone Vays by the way?
I think this is true, ETH is a very great altcoins to invest even for a long-term investment, it's funny if he just claim that ETH is a scam but there is no reason about it.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: April 25, 2018, 11:38:48 AM
I have a question.

What is better? To keep your coins on some Exchange site or to open wallets for each coin?

I would like to hear some advice.  What are pros & cons of each option?

Thanks

Keep your coin in your own wallet, if the price is increasing and you're ready to sell all of them, then you can sell it in the Exchange which dominate the value of the altcoin you wanna sell, so you can easily sell them in the exchange
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: April 25, 2018, 11:36:26 AM
EOS looks so promising from the beginning, i hope this ICO will turn out well and doing great after the end of the token sale, because there are so many news that saying that EOS can beat ETH in the future.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: in 2020 wich one will be higher bitcoin or ethereum ? on: April 24, 2018, 11:01:50 PM
in your opinion which one has the chances to go high by 2020 .........

1. ethereum

2. bitcoin

In 2020, i think Ethereum (ETH) can beat Bitcoin (BTC) for a slight differences, it's because ETH's price is keep increasing everyday, and the price itself is so stable than BTC, until then i will keep hodl and keep my ETH in my wallet, because it's highly possible to happen
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (ethereum) How to choose your wallet on: April 24, 2018, 11:00:40 PM
Before you choose your wallet, make sure the wallet that you're going to use is not a phising site, as for me, i used MyEtherWallet (MEW) since the beginning,

https://www.myetherwallet.com/

right after i join into crypto, my friend told me to use this wallet, since that, i enjoyed using MEW as my wallet, it is so simple and easy to use for me.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you monitor your crypto portfolio? on: April 24, 2018, 10:59:06 PM
I haven't managed to find a crypto portfolio tracker that works better than a spreadsheet I have. I'm curious what other folks use—would love to hear any tips about what is or isn't working for folks.

In the meantime, I'm going to try and make some improvements to my spreadsheet tool at www.cointracker.network for anyone to try (feedback welcome).

i'm using Delta app in my phone to monitoring my crypto portfolio, it's quite good and so simple to use, so i can check and monitor my crypto portfolio anytime, i even check them right now, i will try that cointracker for sure, because i haven't read anything about it
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: <$500 ETH. What do you do? on: April 17, 2018, 10:48:28 PM
A lot of people were saying that <$600 price range was a safe buy but now that it's $491, what do you think?

I'm considering buying it but judging by how it looks, it might continue falling. So instead I might monitor for the first raise and then buy then.

What do you think? Are you buying and hodling? Selling? Discuss.

It already reach >$500, so i don't think it keeps falling down, but if you need money and don't want to take a risk, you should sell them first, and then monitoring the price in the marketcap again, it's because it's still stagnant around $500 for now
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should now sell coin or not on: April 17, 2018, 10:47:17 PM
you guys give me an idea with me keeping my XLM free I'm puzzled Huh Huh Huh Huh

XLM price is quite good now , as for today, it already reach $0,306251, i think you should sell it before it's falling down again, so that you can earn money,or if you have a lot of XLM, you can sell half of them and wait again until the price is increasing again
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your altcoin on: April 17, 2018, 10:42:32 PM
Do not open and reply phising emails that came into your email, and then keep your private key from another people, you should be careful, because there are a lot of hackers around and waiting for open their phising site to hack your wallet
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to buy Eth? on: April 17, 2018, 10:41:18 PM
Newbie here... I've been thinking about buying my first crypto. I think I want to buy ETH, but wondering if I missed the boat already?

Primarily I'm choosing ETH because I think there are less foreseeable limitations than BTC, and it seems like ETH is basically accepted everywhere BTC is. Plus its cheaper  Grin

Is now a good time to buy it? Should I wait?

This is a good time buy some ETH, because the price is not too high right now, i personally thikn that ETH will rise and reach $1k again at this year, so you don't have to worry about it, you can buy and invest ETH at this current rate
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do? on: April 16, 2018, 11:13:53 PM
So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?

in my opinion,. if you're already lost half of your crypto amounty, you need to wait and be patient, you should restrain yourself to sell al of your altcoin even when the market is bleeding, because if the price is falling down, it will be rise again after that
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ian Balina Got Hacked for 750 000$ -never open emails that are recovery on: April 16, 2018, 11:12:24 PM
Balina did not do himself any favors by being very open about his wealth, basically painting a target on his back for hackers wanting to get a piece of his pie.The attack took place in the middle of a stream where he was reviewing an ICO an ICO review. He was suddenly asked to sign back into his email account and discovered that he no longer had access to it.
Crazy stuff happening
He Wrote:
“This is how I think I got hacked. My college email was listed as a recovery email to my Gmail. I remember getting an email about it being compromised, and tried to follow up with my college security to get it resolved, but wasn’t able to get it handled in [a] fast manner and gave up on it thinking it was just an old email,” he wrote.

Yeah, it's because whenever we joined and participated in a bounty, there are a few bounties that allow people to see our email, then they will send a phising email to ours, that's how they hacked people's account and wallet
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: can eth reach over 700 on: April 16, 2018, 11:11:25 PM
anyone beleive that eth will reach 700 in next 30 days .  i think last april it will reach 600 and next month it will reach 700

yes it can, ETH can reach $700 soon, ETH's growth development is very great, as we can see ourself in the marketcap, ETH's price is starting to rise higher and higher, so this is our chance to make profits through ETH
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is buying new listed coin profitable? on: April 16, 2018, 11:10:29 PM
Good Day guys, just searching for an alternative way to invest my money to,
so the question is, is buying new listed token(token that just ended ICO) to an exchange profitable? do many of you do that? would you recommend doing that? or should I buy on their ICOs?

Still, it's 50:50 chance, if you dare to invest in new listed coin, and it turns out explode, it will be a huge profit for you, there are so many people did that, but it still doesn't work for me, i haven't get a lot of profit whenever i invested my money into new listed coins
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: April 16, 2018, 11:09:14 PM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.

If you want to choose to invest in a lot of altcoins, then you should consider to invest in :

-ETH
-NANO
-TRON
-Ripple
-AUTO

those 5 are quite good option to invest if you prefer to divide your money into a lot of altcoins
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bountyhunters, be careful with twitter accounts on: April 16, 2018, 03:03:00 AM
Now there are massive blocking of Twitter accounts.
Most often,  block accounts  when you to use mass-following. Blocks is forever!
Also do not use hashtags #ICO #Cryptocurrency etc
Be careful!

i already read those news, but i still don't know if this is a hoax news or not, it's because i haven't seen it myself that there are twitter acounts been blocked by doing bounty campaign, let's just hope it's only a fake news / HOAX, because we can still earn money from twitter joining bounty social media campaign
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key on: April 16, 2018, 02:49:47 AM
As a matter of fact, it is very few number of noobs in the cryptocurrency business that understand the level at which patience is required and valuable in the business. I do tell my friends around me that wish to come in to the business “it’s only patience ones that would feed from the milk of a lion” . I bought some coins few weeks ago, which I decided to hold while it was dipping but I keep holding with zero fear and absolute patience. Presently, i’m In over 47% profit in all. My advice to my colleagues is all you need is buy into coins with good potential and relax even while it’s at dip. Trust me, you won’t live to regret anything if only you would be able to hold with patience. Thanks

Yes, patience is erally the key in crypto space, you can't panic whatever happens in the marketcap, if you panic then you'll lose all of your money, i can say it based on my experience, when i first got into crypto, i'm not the patient-type, so when the price is falling, i keep sold out my altcoins, but these days i don't do that anymore, i have to wait until the price is increasing again
99  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: STOP joining bounties without reputable Manager! Value Your Time!! on: April 16, 2018, 02:47:06 AM
Do you mind joining a bounty program without a trusted manager?
I myself stopped joining bounty programs that run by the owner of the project or an unknown person (you will see them as newbie copper member or Jr. Copper). Due to the rise of high scams of ICO's and I'm not good at finding them I have to depend on experts. I believe a trustworthy manager won't run a shit campaign. So, to stay safe side I choose to join only bounties that run by a good manager or escrowed by someone that whole community can trust. I just don't want to waste my time.

Here is a short list of bounty managers I worked with and liked:
1. needmoney
2. yahoo62278
3. deadley
4. Sylon
5. irfan_pak10
6. Woshib
7. hua_hui
8. MadZ

Note: This is a personalized list with my own experience.

Let me know what do you think about joining in new managers bounty? (New means, newbie copper/Jr. members).

You can find more managers name at this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3085997 (found this few weeks earlier).

i have to admit that top 8 managers in your list have a very good reputation as managers in the bounty campaign, but, there are also unrecognize manager and the manager from the project itself that really did a great job managing their project, for example like CUBE ICO, the project managed by their own manager and it turned out to be successful too
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: April 16, 2018, 02:43:36 AM
Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley

yes, if it really ahppenm bitcoin dies, then all the price of all altcoins will drop too and lead to the end of altcoins era, it will be gameover, but i think altcoin will last longer about 10-15 years ahead , even the price will rise again soon
