Can anyone give me their thoughts on this?
My thoughts: 1. Yup. The bots I saw in other sites would stop immediately when you are trying to bet more than you have on your balance. 2. Losing 78.5% bets 11 times in a row has a very low chance. So it is rare to see such losing streak but it is not impossible. 3. 999dice has been reported for scamming long long time ago, and every one should avoid using it.

If u found new gambling website and want to play on it first time. Will you try to find some topics on forum about this website before deposit money? Or no? If this website looking clear and you liked it? I sometimes. But generally no.. I am actually doing it the other way round. I only find new gambling sites through browsing this gambling section, and will take a closer look at the site if its announcement post is good.

I read there is as many Bitcoin addresses as the sands on the earth. Although the chances to generate the same Bitcoin address is small... everyone should take precaution by spreading their coins in multiple addresses.
There is a video on youtube, from the Bitcoin network that use this <grain of sand> as a example, but they say that the sand on the earth and a few thousand other planets will not be enough to equal the math needed to calculate the Addresses that can be created from that algorithm. I haven't seen that video, but you are right that the number of grains of sand on Earth is nowhere close to the number of bitcoin addresses. According to http://www.quickanddirtytips.com/education/math/how-many-grains-of-sand-are-on-earth%E2%80%99s-beaches, there are 5.6x10^21 grains of sand on Earth. According to https://www.quora.com/Are-there-more-stars-than-grains-of-sand, there are 10^24 grains of sand on Earth. According to http://www.npr.org/sections/krulwich/2012/09/17/161096233/which-is-greater-the-number-of-sand-grains-on-earth-or-stars-in-the-sky, there are 7.5 x 10^18 grains of sand. No idea which of these estimates are accurate, but let's take the largest one, ie 10^24. On the other hand, there are 2^160 or 1.46x10^48 bitcoin addresses, which is 1,460,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times larger the the number of grains of sand.

Let me see if I got this right. So if you have a certain amount at an address and send out part of that amount, EVERYTHING you had at that address is moved out and the change is deposited at a new address? Why isn't the change kept at the original address?
The major reason is to give users better privacy. If there is no change address, someone else monitoring my address will see how much I have spent my bitcoin every time I make a transaction. But if there is a change address, you will only see I have send some bitcoin to address A and some bitcoin to address B, without knowing which of the two addresses is my change address.

I see many products that create wallets with new addresses. But what is to stop some of those addresses from being the same? Could an address that matches one already in service be created?
The chance for an address collision to happen is nonzero but extremely small, since there are a total of 2 256 private keys and 2 160 valid bitcoin addresses. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=104461.0;all could help you understand it better how tiny the chance is.

How many win in totalyou had your last tips?
Results so far: Win-Loss-Void: 14-12-1 Win rate: 54% Stake avg.: 9.1 Odd avg.: 2.06 Staked: 249 Returned: 265.26 Profit: +15 Yield: +6%Not bad but not good either The win rate may not look good, but what you really should care is his net profit or net loss. Considering he has a 6% profit in less than 2 days, I would say he is indeed doing pretty good. Keep it up OP.

The core wallet.dat file now contains pre-generated change addresses to mitigate things like these.
Right. So why are they not showing. Does OP simply need to do a restart with -rescan? Nope a rescan would not help because the keypool feature did not exist yet at the time. This thread was created in July 14, 2010, while the keypool feature was first added to the bitcoin qt by satoshi in October 09, 2010. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1414.0.

Any update on your winning progress? We wanna know!
The latest post on his FB page (link in OP) says "I busted my 2,000doge took nearly 500,000bets to lose using 999dice but i'm not done trying building a new bankroll", so things didn't start well for him.

I believe it is below 1 btc for the moment, and I have some loss in dice and some profit in sports betting that roughly even out.

Chelsea to lose Leicester to score two goals city to win
Interesting picks. Not that I want to bet on that, but I am curious on what site do you find the "team to score two goals" bet option? I have never seen it before.

Nitrogensports (has a good odds, withdrawals are not always instantly processed but the delay is acceptable IMHO) and Primedice (most trusted and popular) for the moment.

To allow bigger profits on bets the house edge is raised to ~0.25%
Has the change taken effect already? I check the recent bets in your app page, and the house edge does not seem to be ~0.25%. This bet ( https://www.moneypot.com/bets/103828099) for example has a house edge of 0.11% only.

West Ham United performance is impressive as the away team this season. I think they have a good chance to beat Sunderland today and the odds for 2.406 looks great.

Hei, I see you are a good poker player, but why you don't play poker instead of claiming faucets, I claimed faucet before when I didn't have income, but now I have a solid high salary job, and got money from gambling, I never claim it again, since you can win big from poker, it is not worth to claim faucet any more, just my 2 cents.
Faucets not even paying 2 cents. They pay less than 2 cents usually. You are doing perfect as you got practice into gambling with high earning poker player then you need not return into faucets. Because faucets are for time killers. I just learning how to do best in poker. Probably will match you soon. You have completely misunderstood the phrase "just my 2 cents" in his post lol. It doesn't mean the faucets are paying 2 cents but the post is his personal opinion only. Check https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_two_cents for the details.
