141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you bought anything? on: June 20, 2018, 01:11:14 PM
I have bought cash with my crypto, and that is more than enough to keep on this business. I hope that some of the initiatives to allow direct payment succeed eventually.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are a legit or Scam? on: June 19, 2018, 11:30:49 AM
ICOs are mostly legitimate, as long as you really take a little bit of time to know the team and make a basic research on the project. The are also rewarding sometimes.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Crypto Currency? on: June 19, 2018, 11:29:19 AM
I am trying to get some long term returns by "betting" to the coins that are here to stay for a long time. Most of them will dissapear, but a few good ones will makes us rich.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do startups implement ICOs? on: June 18, 2018, 12:57:16 PM
They use ICO as a mean of financing or they are true blockchain companies that are looking to build a good investment community around their project.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should continue join ico? on: June 18, 2018, 12:55:49 PM
Why not? The teams seems to know their stuff, but in any case if you are unsure, you can always try to invest a bit less or research more in-depth to make sure.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin are scam nowadays on: June 18, 2018, 12:54:45 PM
Not at all, I had the pleasure of doing some recent investments that came out very good, so it is more likely that you don´t know how to choose and blame it on ICO.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam coins everywhere. on: June 17, 2018, 01:56:53 PM
Just stay away from coins that are dubious, you need to have some common sense to buy and lots of common sense when selling. You won´t make money if you don´t.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best exchange for beginner? on: June 17, 2018, 01:53:53 PM
The best one for beginners could be Binance or KuCoin. These are very simple to use, and later on you can learn the more developed commands, so you can do lots of stuff.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin for future on: June 17, 2018, 01:52:47 PM
Qurrex is a good coin, it is a exchange that has a very innovative technology and now it is really important to be in the business of exchanges, they make a lot of money.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty without manager? on: June 16, 2018, 02:40:32 PM
The bounty manager is critical for the success of the campaign. It must be someone reputable because we put lots of effort into promoting and we need a good referee.

152  Other / Serious discussion / Re: The myth of the limited Bitcoin on: June 16, 2018, 02:18:46 PM
However, it is not impossible that a fork is decided and changes that rule.
Who decide?

The common use is that the chain with more hashing power behind would be called the "true Bitcoin" and receive full support from exchanges and users.
hashing power mean nothing, branding mean nothing, I hope I'm a bitcoin user, I will never support a coin I don't like, no matter how much hashing power it have.

Are you aware of how forks work? Have you heard about Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold? A majority of miners could decide that there will be 41 million and change the issuance rate and...

It doesn´t matter what you support, because if you are in a network that has not the maximum hashing power for the algorithm your network is not secure.
153  Other / Serious discussion / Re: The myth of the limited Bitcoin on: June 16, 2018, 02:16:20 PM
It's not limited, people can create endless cryptocurrency.  Gold actually has a limited supply and you can't just create more of it.

There is a LOT of gold in our solar system.
And even more in the universe.

I would not call it a limited supply.

But there will only ever be 21M bitcoins  Smiley

Unless the majority of the hashing power of bitcoin decides the opposite.
154  Other / Serious discussion / The myth of the limited Bitcoin on: June 14, 2018, 10:53:48 AM
One of the sacred arguments of Bitcoin backers is that it is limited and thus more valuable with time. However, it is not impossible that a fork is decided and changes that rule. For example, you can decide that it will not be limited, but issued at a fixed rate every year or revised by the community every X time, ...

The common use is that the chain with more hashing power behind would be called the "true Bitcoin" and receive full support from exchanges and users.

What do people think of this scenario?

https://poloniex.com/exchange#eth_gas

Y otra pregunta.

157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Hard Cap and Soft Cap" on: June 13, 2018, 11:56:03 AM
It is very important that the soft cap and the hard cap are not too far apart, because that means that the price of the token may go down immediately after the sale.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Below ICO prices on: June 13, 2018, 11:48:23 AM
Some ICOs have the valuation a bit wrong, but that is only while the market is down, those may be the ones that can recover the most afterwards.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins You Think will Grow on: June 12, 2018, 12:16:57 PM
I think that the largest part of the growth is not as much in the coins as it is in the tokens that are in the top 10 chains that support them. Bitcoin is not one of these.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to ask, what is the name of altcoins that can beat bitcoin on: June 11, 2018, 12:03:49 PM
By beat you mean have better profit I guess, and that means that any token of newer ICOs can actually have a better chance to moon than plain old good bitcoin.
