21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain in Health Care on: October 11, 2018, 12:25:13 PM
There are many serious initiatives in the Health Care sector that seem to be doing not so well even with great ideas. Perhaps it is not the right moment to sell this type of product just yet.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The one blockchain platform that everyone is overlooking. on: October 11, 2018, 12:24:00 PM
Everyone I know that has gone into waves has come out of it with very little gain and tired of the many scams that run around this chain. The main problem is that it is very cheap to launch a token and there´s little control over it.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: top 5 altcoins to consider on: October 11, 2018, 12:22:26 PM
I think that one that is clearly undervalued is NEO. There should be much more investment given how solid it is and how many developers are cotributing to it with great code.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum fail if Vitalik dies? on: October 11, 2018, 12:20:21 PM
LOL, not at all... Vitalik is more a speaker rather than a real developer of the system. This is exactly what decentralisation means, you have no individual that is irreplaceable.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LEARN BOUNTY FOR NEWBIES on: October 08, 2018, 12:13:09 PM

4. What is the potential income?
The answer is unlimited !!

The answer is VERY LIMITED. I don´t know where you get your ideas about how much bounty can you ear here, but I can asure you that is not by any means unlimited. Most of the bounties end up giving 50 USD for more than a month of posting.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcointalk DEAD?ICO DEAD?around bots and no sense hire TOP10 bounty manager? on: October 08, 2018, 12:11:03 PM

What you think guys?

I think you are a sore shitposter trying to harm the forum. However, everyone here knows that Bitcointalk has done a lot to stop the robots and has taken many steps to ensure the profitability of the signature campaigns.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the commodities trading not using the blockchain technology? on: October 08, 2018, 12:09:02 PM
We all agree blockchain and cryptocurrency has the disruptive power. However, we see no commodity traders enter the crypto and blockchain to enhance transparency.

The problem with blockchain is that the interactions in the chain are trustless but the real world is not. There are projects that are backed up by commodities, but they require constant audit.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone here Know about the reason the development of blockchain technology on: October 08, 2018, 12:07:33 PM
Hey people, does anyone here know about the public ledger created by the blockchain technology and it’s various usage.

Of course, the question should not even be asked, this forum is all about the blockchain and every ICO published here is a use case for the technology, that is, except the scammy ones that normally are easy to spot.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP: What We Don't Know on: October 08, 2018, 12:06:17 PM
There is no need to know much about Ripple. The coin is living only on fake news, rumours, and other unsubstantial communications. It is always claiming to have great clients but nothing ever comes out of it.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Might Be Used for payment in Tokyo Olympics in 2020 on: October 08, 2018, 12:04:00 PM
Ten months ago, former Japanese professional baseball player Ken Takahashi launched a petition on Change.org, hoping to use XRP as the official digital currency of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

Ripple is not a cryptocurrency since it is controlled by basically one guy, not decentralised and serves only the banks. If a crypto should be accepted in the Olympics it should be Bitcoin, Bicoin Cash, Litecoin, ether or NEO/GAS.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What % of ICO tokens you think is okay to be personally owned by project devs? on: October 04, 2018, 12:25:29 PM
You actually want them to have a good amount, so that they are motivated to create value for you, but what is more important is the vesting periods and the ramp in the unlocking.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Health Care Related ICO's on: October 04, 2018, 12:24:12 PM
The best use case for medical care coins is the personal data sphere of work. It is very cool to know that your medical records and encrypted in chain and cannot be sold or missused.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies’ $600 billion crash hits a new low on: October 04, 2018, 12:23:18 PM
This is not a real crash for crypto, it has gone much lower in other years, but people only remember the good times and tend to forget that even stocks falled 90% in the internet bubble.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too close to be recognized on: October 04, 2018, 12:22:08 PM
I think that the title is way to misleading, but if you want my opinion, crypto has to simplify itself in order to get into the daily life of normal people. As today, it is too complex.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Rating sites for confidence? on: October 04, 2018, 12:20:35 PM
Depending on how much I am going to invest, I research more or less. I would not do much research to put 100 $ or  200 $. For that I would trust ICOBench or ICORated.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge is needed on: October 04, 2018, 12:19:30 PM
Those are the basics, but gaining knowledge is a slow process and it requires time, listening to many people and reading a lot in the forum. this is not for everyone.
37  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do caps influence the bounty hunters? on: October 01, 2018, 12:22:58 PM

a) they do not specify any soft cap
...
Does this make sense or am I getting something totally wrong?

You don´t need to read any further. Any project that does not specify a soft cap is saying that they will proceed with the project with any amount the get. It is a clear sign of money-grabbing.

Why?

- The accept any money, but all projects require a minimum to stand a chance of success.

or...

- They already have money to do  the project, in which case, they are just trying to make easy additional cash with your investment.

So, there is a good reason why there is a softcap in projects. Besides that, the hard cap should very rarely be more than twice the soft cap, because there is also a limit in the efficient use of money.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to burn ETH? on: October 01, 2018, 12:16:40 PM
Yes, no one holds the private key for that address as you can see it holds 7k ETH and $700M value of ERC20 tokens. For more explanation, look at the comment section for that address, there's someone explained it well.

Yes exactly. However, you technically won´t burn it and I don´t know if Coinmarketcap and other similar pages will count the eth at 0x00.. as blocked and not count it in the circulating supply.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Way to distinguish between scam and genuine ICO's on: October 01, 2018, 12:12:37 PM
Several ICOs are being launched every month.  These ICOs are being launched through our bitcoin forum.  My past experience is that though some of the projects launched are good but on the other hand there are several projects which are  just scams.
...
I also suggest that without their approval no project should be given green signal to advertise through bitcoin forum.

So, you are basically saying that you are too lazy to DYOR, and that you would rather have someone else (the forum) that does that work for you, with no payment so that you can earn more doing bounty. You are a shameless lazy one.

In case you did not notice, this is crypto, YOU are responsible for spending your time, money and effort because it is you who is trying to make a profit.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: online store accepting cryptocurrencies for worldwide shipping on: October 01, 2018, 12:09:39 PM
This Online store is accepting bitcoin and cryptocurrency as payment methode for worldwide shipping  Cheesy Shocked Tongue

I hope adoption increases, but I am still quite sceptic about shops shipping worldwide. I would need to have an element of trust in the business, which at the moment is not achieved.
