New Code v1.1.1 is released: bug fix for wallet syncing/indexing issue after blocks 94772.
This should be the stable release for the dynamic difficulty adjustment change with well tested wallet syncing from beginning to end on both windows/linux platforms.

|
|
Just explanation. When miners left mining, NENG chain has been frozen for past couple of days.
My current solution is to put v1.1.0 release to make the chain to move again and this coin become CPU/GPU minable. Otherwise the super-high difficulty that was created by past ASIC miners would stay there for days or weeks and the chain would be frozen for long time. We can not just sit and let the chain frozen for days or weeks. Something got to be done.
I am buying an ASIC miner to mine the NENG coin, but it would be days away. This release would be just one intermediate fix for the current chain issue. More will be done if needed.

Mined a few Luckycoin, tried to use window QT client to send the coins to exchange. Failed.
Always get the warning "The total exceeds your balance when 7.90 LKY transaction fee is included". This is insane. Even if I set the transaction fee at 0.01, it would do the same. It appears that the window QT wallet is locked without sending capability.
What is going on?
Note: it appears the same error also happend in QT wallet compiled in Linux. Same error as well for command line luckycoind under linux.

Is this blocking email just for registering with the exchange? When will the currency be in exchanges that accept BTC or ETH? And the whitepaper, where can I find it?
Hotmail email can not be registered at ShorelineCrypto exchange. We are in the process to apply for unblocking, but it takes long time and it may never come. There is no BTC pair in ShorelineCrypto, only dogecoin pair. Dogecoin vs BTC or ETH are quite liquid and this should not be a problem for trading. There is no plan for BTC in ShorelineCrypto in foreseeable future.

dude where are we going with this?....if you not ready with full details i dont think you post at all
I will add content later on. I have to announce here first because after I put the code in github for wallet development days ago, some miners already jumped in and mined quite large amount of NENG at low difficulty. Announce first so that other miners have a fair chance too at early stage when the difficulty is low.

A Decentralized Multi-rig Solo mining CoinA scrypt coin minable for all miners (Android/CPU/GPU/ASIC) Short clip on global empowerment decentralization movement, Nengcoin for all miners: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hb3tOmg4bQYNengcoin WhitePaper https://nengcoin.org/knowledgebase/whitepaper-nengcoin/Nengcoin Symbol: NENG Nengcoin (formerly NewEnglandcoin) is a clone of Bitcoin using scrypt as a proof-of-work algorithm with enhanced features to protect against 51% attack and decentralize on mining to allow diversified mining rigs across CPUs, GPUs, ASICs and Android phones. Mining Algorithm: Scrypt with RandomSpike. RandomSpike is 3rd generation of Cheetah Effect Algorithm (CEA) on top of scrypt. Current version: "v2.3.0.0-randomSpike-1.12.x". 1 minute block targets base difficulty adjustment: every 1440 blocks subsidy halves in 2.1m blocks (~ 2 to 4 years) 84,000,000,000 total maximum NENG 20000 NENG per block at start Pre-mine: 1% or 840 million NENG - reserved for dev fund allocated paid: 100 million NENG for code sharing bonus to Zpool dev allocated used: 740 million NENG for backing WNENG (WrappedNengcoin) in 1:1 ratio, custodian at SouthXchange dev fund balance: 0 NENG Inflation Pre-mine: 6.3 Billion NENG was lost in Sep 2021 51% attack on SouthXchange. ~ 4.25 billion NENG was printed on v1.9.x hard fork to pay back the debt to SouthXchange for the loss on the 51% attack in order to restore trading/withdraw of NENG and WNENG at SouthXchange. Additional 2 billion NENG plus of donation was raised to pay the remaining loss to SouthXchange. There are roughly remaining 633 million NENG net left after this donation event. ICO: None RPCPort: 6376 Port: 6377 Spike Security Mechanism Against 51% AttackCheetah effect is a Random Spike Technology™ that was first discovered and introduced during the development of NENG. It is a new method to prevent 51% attack which the block rewards are spread out into multi-rigs of big ASICs, USB ASICs, CPU miners, and mobile miners. The cheetah effect has been battle-tested and proven to be a great way to fully secure a coin network effortlessly, preventing abuses while offering a fair share of mining space for all crypto miners to fully promote decentralization. reset difficulty = 0.000244 Cheetah difficulty on version 2.3.0 (randomSpike v1.12.x) = 0.00488 Spike difficulty on version 2.3.0 (randomSpike v1.12.x) = 122,000 The NENG blockchain auto resets to cheetah difficulty if blocks are not mined after 2 minutes. Initially the cheetah effect can be explained by the fact that only CPU miners with Cheetah_cpuminer software can mine on Cheetah diff. Without GPU miners, NENG is fine. Without ASIC miners NENG blockchain is fine too. Without CPU miners, NENG blockchain will be shut down. Nowadays, cheetah effect is getting weakened by various factor. But still, android phone/Pi4 miners on cheetah_cpuminer software can mine full block on regularly bases every week. Spike difficulty are assigned randomly from 50% to 98% chance to +- 40 seconds (80 seconds windows) of previous block with various degree of ASIC restriction based on timestamp of past 3 blocks. When a big ASIC rig attacks NENG, a spike block is mined, the NENG algo automatically triggers 51% protection mechanism that all GPU/ASIC miners can only mine at spike difficulty until reset, essentially shutting down almost all GPU/ASIC miners (see exception below for USB ASIC solo miners) and leaving NENG minable to CPU miners only. NENG blockchain adjust base difficulty every 1440 blocks designed for 1 day. In comparison bitcoin adjust base difficulty every 2 weeks and litecoin adjust every 4 days. Many of Nengcoin base difficulty adjustment are gradual, meaning up or down by 20 to 50%. Sometimes, historically about in 1 week average, or in the spike block mined situation, NENG base difficulty does massive reset to low difficulty between reset diff (0.000244 ) and cheetah diff. Because of restriction of randomSpike imposed on ASICs, only CPU solo miners or GPU/USB ASIC solo miners can mine for up to millions of NENG within a couple of days on low difficulty range. Litecoin Fork - Suitable for Bitcoin Home HobbyistsNengcoin is very suitable as lite version of bitcoin for educational purpose on desktop mining, full node running and bitcoin programming using bitcoin-json APIs. The Nengcoin (NENG) mining algorithm original upgrade ideas were mainly designed for decentralization of mining rigs on scrypt, which is same algo as litecoin/dogecoin. The way it is going now is that NENG is very suitable for bitcoin/litecoin/dogecoin hobbyists who can not , will not spend huge money to run noisy ASIC/GPU mining equipments, but still want to mine NENG at home with quiet simple CPU/GPU or with a cheap ASIC like FutureBit Moonlander 2 USB or Apollo pod on solo mining setup to obtain very decent profitable results. NENG allows bitcoin litecoin dogecoin hobbyists to experience full node running, solo mining, CPU/GPU/ASIC for a fun experience at home at cheap cost without breaking bank on equipment or electricity. How to CPU Mine NENG without poolWhen the regular difficulty is really low, In rare cases, sometimes below the cheetah difficulty level, then the direct in wallet mining with a PC or Mac is best approach for CPU mining. Due to severe ASIC restriction on low diff, CPU mining can dominate mining in such scenario even if there are pools with ASICs/USB ASICs competing there. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5027091.msg59283454#msg59283454Not recommended for phone due to overheating issue. For phone, stick with "cheetah_cpuminer" method (see below). CPU Solo Mining on Computers (Windows/Mac/Chromebook/Linux)Because of Cheetah Effect Algorithm on top of scrypt, Nengcoin is CPU Minable. Users can easily set up full node for mining at Home PC or Mac using our dedicated cheetah software. Research on the first forked 50 blocks on v1.2.0 core confirmed that ASIC/GPU miners mined 66% of 50 blocks, CPU miners mined the remaining 34%. Because of high cost of electricity, CPU solo miners on computers are not expected to make profit on NENG mining. But because most of time cheetah_cpuminer does nothing other than observing and checking for suitable time to jump into mining, the usage of computer CPU resource is quite low. NENG CPU mining is very suitable as casual mining on your computer (windows10, Mac, Linux, or Chromebook) while you do your regular browsing. You can also control the usage of CPU by limiting the miner will take when it mines. The behavior of NENG cpu miner on "cheetah_cpuminer" software is very much like a Cheetah hunting for prey in African safari. For most of time Cheetah just hide in the bush from the danger of lions. Cheetah only jump and chase small preys when timing and target is right. Youtube Video TutorialHow to CPU Mine NewEnglandcoin (NENG) in Windows 10 Part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdOoPvAjzlEHow to CPU Mine NewEnglandcoin (NENG) in Windows 10 Part 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHnRJvJRzZgHow to CPU Mine NewEnglandcoin (NENG) in macOS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zj7NLMeNSOQCPU solo mining on Android PhonesAndroid phone miners are likely to be only group of CPU miners that can achieve profitability even factor in the cost of electricity. Android phone CPU solo mining use the same software "Cheetah_Cpuminer" and "UserLand app". Please check out the android phone mining guide below: https://github.com/ShorelineCrypto/nengcoin/tree/master/doc/Android_Userland_AppGPU Solo MiningGPU solo mining during normal days are not profitable, may even obtain much smaller NENG rewards compared to computer or android phone cpu mining. This is because GPUs can not compete with scrypt ASIC rigs on hashrate. GPUs can not mine into cheetah diff either so that GPUs can not compete with computers or android phones either. However, on base difficulty reset day, averaging about once per week, GPU solo mining NENG can obtain huge rewards, up to millions of NENG to be mined within one day for several hours. We regularly send out this alert in reddit/bitcointalk Ann/discord so pay attention to these alerts and jump into GPU solo mining NENG for big rewards quick. ASIC Solo/Pool MiningDue to dynamic difficulty nature of Cheetah Effect Algo on top of Scrypt, solo mining is recommended for ASIC rigs. Further more, even for mining pools, small mining pool will generate better performance than big NENG mining pool because of ASIC restriction after v1.2.x version. In general, depending the hashrate of rig, the most profitable base difficulty range is when your rig can mine at slower than 10 seconds per block. Because of randomSpike severe restriction, the lower diff is not very profitable period for big ASIC rigs. In general, ASIC miners are only doing well when base difficulty is above 1. USB ASIC Solo MiningUSB ASIC like Futurebit Moonlander2 devices are likely to be the most profitable mining rigs on NENG. Moonlander2 do very poorly on pool mining, however on solo mining setup with two rotating full nodes setup, USB ASIC can be extremely profitable mining NENG. Unlike big ASIC rigs, USB ASIC also can mine into cheetah diff occasionally so that USB ASIC is all around miner during reset, after reset. On reset day, Moonlander2 can mine millions NENG in one day. On normal days, Moonlander2 was found to be able to mine 100,000 to 200,000 NENG per day too. Decentralization and Community DrivenNengcoin is a decentralized coin just like bitcoin with open sourced license on coin source code. There is no boss or nor a CEO on Nengcoin. Nobody nor the dev team owns NENG. We expect NENG community eventually will take over the coin. Therefore, we as dev do not intend to make decision on this coin solely by ourselves. It is our expectation that Nengcoin community will make majority of decisions on direction of this coin from now on. We as dev merely view our-self as technical support and software developer of this coin while providing NENG a free listing at ShorelineCrypto Exchange at launch. The set up configuration of NENG for scrypt pool mining is same as a typical normal scrypt coin. In other word, CEA on Scrypt algo is backward compatible with Scrypt algo. Because ASIC/GPU miners rely on CPU miners for smooth blockchain movement, checkout below WARNINGs to All ASIC miners before you decide to dump big ASIC hash rate into NENG mining. (1) Original Dynamic Difficulty of CEA algo Warning: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5027091.msg48324708#msg48324708(2) New Warning on RandomSpike Spike difficulty (244k) introduced in RandomSpike served as roadblocks to instant mining and provide security against 51% attack risk. However, this spike difficulty like a roadblock that makes big ASIC mining less profitable. In case of spike block to be mined, the spike difficulty immediately serve as base difficulty, which will block bigger hashrate miners effectively and leave smaller hashrate solo miners dominating mining until next base difficulty reset. Ok so the question is, is your boost installation done correctly, and are you using the correct version of boost ?
boost version is obviously is the issue here. The Op method of installing boost within MXE showed 1.60.0 version. The Eidas coin link method install boost as separate package outside mxe using "1_63_0" version. I followed everything exact steps in the Eidas Coin link doc method using "1_63_0" boost version for this error report.

Yes, inside /mnt/mxe/usr/i686-w64-mingw32.static/include/boost there are many files: /mnt$ ls /mnt/mxe/usr/i686-w64-mingw32.static/include/ ------skipped printout ----- ia64reg.h pshpack4.h xpsrassvc.idl iaccess.h pshpack8.h ymath.h iadmext.h pshpck16.h yvals.h iadmw.h pstore.h zconf.h iads.h pthread_compat.h zlib.h icftypes.h pthread.h zmouse.h honglu@debian:/mnt$
The output that you posted here does not show a "boost" folder in that directory that you did "ls /mnt/mxe/usr/i686-w64-mingw32.static/include/" You should actually have a directory /mnt/mxe/usr/i686-w64-mingw32.static/include/boost << Went back redid and confirmed, yes, boost folder is there with many files: /mnt/Eidas$ ls /mnt/mxe/usr/i686-w64-mingw32.static/include/boost

Make sure the "boost" directory actually exists in the target location you have specified: MXE_INCLUDE_PATH=/mnt/mxe/usr/i686-w64-mingw32.static/include MXE_LIB_PATH=/mnt/mxe/usr/i686-w64-mingw32.static/lib i686-w64-mingw32.static-qmake-qt5 \ BOOST_LIB_SUFFIX=-mt \ BOOST_THREAD_LIB_SUFFIX=_win32-mt \ BOOST_INCLUDE_PATH=$MXE_INCLUDE_PATH/boost \ BOOST_LIB_PATH=$MXE_LIB_PATH \
As in you should see "boost" in MXE_INCLUDE_PATH=/mnt/mxe/usr/i686-w64-mingw32.static/include/boost` in your INCLUDE PATH. Yes, inside /mnt/mxe/usr/i686-w64-mingw32.static/include/boost there are many files: /mnt$ ls /mnt/mxe/usr/i686-w64-mingw32.static/include/ ------skipped printout ----- ia64reg.h pshpack4.h xpsrassvc.idl iaccess.h pshpack8.h ymath.h iadmext.h pshpck16.h yvals.h iadmw.h pstore.h zconf.h iads.h pthread_compat.h zlib.h icftypes.h pthread.h zmouse.h honglu@debian:/mnt$
Tried another time in debian 8.5. 0 amd64 virutal machine. Essentially same errors as Ubuntu 14.04. What a great project with huge potential going forward, I really believe in this project ...
Glad to hear that. Just noted that there were quite large amount of MNOS traded in ShorelineCrypto exchange over past couple of days. MN ROI is now 3309% annually, insanely high return while the masternode start up cost of 1500 MNOS is only at less than $5 USD using ShorelineCrypto latest trading price. This could mean a huge profit upside on MN investment if this coin can be turned around. This project is dead! The first Dev run away with the btc that he earn selling MN, then one new dev come and show us that he paid for CB listing and proof us a fake image. The second guy try to scam people for one more time. Stop writing that this is a good project and that people can make a huge profit. RIP MNOS. From the impression in DISCORD, I think the original dev and the sec are long gone. This coin is abandoned. This does not mean that this coin can not be taken over by community or adopted by new team. The hope is the in the new coming team, not the gone scammers.
