81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can someone help me figure out what I did with some BTC? on: December 14, 2012, 04:44:18 PM
Thanks Stephen.
I do remember that happening.  I thought I made the BTC deposit after the attack, but it was well before.  Oh well.  Looks like my last and only coins will be tied up in lingo for ~10 years at a rate of .85%/month.

82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can someone help me figure out what I did with some BTC? on: December 14, 2012, 05:59:31 AM
Gosh dang it.  I found them.  They got sent to bitfloor.  When I log in I see this.

accounts
BTC
avail    0.08538222
hold    4.92926600
total    5.01464822

I wonder why it's on hold.  I wonder if I can get them back....
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Can someone help me figure out what I did with some BTC? on: December 14, 2012, 05:53:36 AM
I stopped mining back in August.  This was my last payout.

Your reward for mining with the bitcoin.cz mining pool service has exceeded threshold of 5.0 BTC.

Amount 5.01038742 BTC has been transfered to your address 174doVikTMeArJreeQtLB34dFRWY9T182c at 2012-08-24 06:07:23.376987 UTC.

Payment processing through Bitcoin network may take between 30 minutes to 3 hours. You can watch current payment status on http://www.blockexplorer.com/address/174doVikTMeArJreeQtLB34dFRWY9T182c. If you see payment on Block Explorer and not in your Bitcoin client, please verify that your client is up to the latest block or ask on Bitcoin forum for any other help.

The problem is this;
I stopped mining for a short time before that last payout, but decided to give it one last go.  I'm thinking I changed my payment address to someone else's personal wallet in order to pay for goods, but that would not be typical behavior of mine, it's just the only thing I can think of.  The problem is after looking in all my message and post history, I can't find any record of such a deal.  Now I'm just plain confused where I sent these coins.  A month prior I had sent 5.95BTC to that same address according to my payout history.  Is there anyone here technical enough to help me figure out where i sent them?  I tried looking at blockexplorer but I just don't know what I'm looking at.  If you could help me understand it (blockexplorer) that would also be much appreciated.

The reason it took me so long to catch onto this is because I usually sent from slush pool to mtgox account.  That mtgox account had a yubikey that I lost and for a while mtgox had no remedy to my situation.  I recently regained access to that account only to find out the 5BTC I was expecting to see never went there in the first place.
84  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] (2) iPhone 4 16GB ATT Great condition with Otter Box case. on: December 14, 2012, 01:20:53 AM
It is my understanding that it works with Mac (even the media keys) just not officially supported.
None the less I'm looking for a new phone, so if I get a couple extra bucks this month I'll try to take one off your hands.

Would you be interested in partial trade for this?

87  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS: XBOX360 203w Power Supply (works with all fat) on: December 11, 2012, 06:45:18 PM
Interesting.  I knew the power would work (from old to new), I just didn't think it fit the other slots.  Now I know it does.  Thanks for clarifying and sorry for intruding  Lips sealed
88  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS: XBOX360 203w Power Supply (works with all fat) on: December 11, 2012, 05:40:33 PM
How do you figure this will fit ALL old models?  I don't like to intervene with people's sales, but I also don't like to see conflicts come out of misinformation.  Xbox's have different tips and different power requirements throughout the years.

Yours is the very oldest one.  Probably not too many Xbox's left from that era that haven't RROD by now....  You probably will have better luck selling to miners.  Might as well take it to the computer hardware section and see what happens.

Are those headphones the same quality as knock off beats solo's?

They look very similar
90  Economy / Goods / Re: Corsair K60 - Mechanical Keyboard (Great for gaming) on: December 11, 2012, 05:34:52 PM
Are there any advantages to use a mechanical keyboard other than "feels good man" and "dem clacks"?

Yes.  First of all, this keyboard does not click when keys are pushed.  It may clack from the keys being pushed all the way down, but there is no click in the stroke of the key.  The keys go down smoothly and they are much more sensitive than usual.  The advantage is that you should never miss a stroke when you get use to the keys, it has a faster response, and you can also repeatedly stroke the keys faster than average keyboards.  The key only needs to be pushed down about half way to trigger it.  Therefore you don't get hand fatigue as easy.  It takes much less to push these keys down than a regular dome style key (or even other mechanical switches).  The other advantage to not having keys that click, as opposed to other mechanical switches, is that the keys don't need to come back up as far before you can push it again.  Therefore you can rapidly strike the same key over and over with very little effort.  To be entirely honest, I love this board for gaming, but I hate it for typing.

See a comparison of the keys here: http://www.overclock.net/keyboards/491752-mechanical-keyboard-guide.html#post_6009482

This keyboard has Cherry MX Red keys.  Note how there is no click or hesitation on the demonstration, same with the black switches.

Cherry MX-Red's are another switch that can be considered a "gaming" switch. It's essentially a lighter version of the MX Black, requiring less force to actuate. Some people do not find this switch that good for typing or gaming because it is so light, but others rave for this fact. Light or Stiff is always a matter of preference. This switch was hard to find; and was reported as EOL, but it is still in limited production with a higher than average MOQ leading to higher cost to board makers. Marketed with high demand, boards with this switch are becoming more common, but are generally more expensive as well.

Slightly used.  Only thing that needs to be known is that the 'C' key lettering is slightly worn compared to the rest.  The only read sign of wear on the keyboard.

6BTC + shipping.

1 btc
Sorry, it wouldn't make sense for me to sell it for 1btc. I'd be lucky to get one KFC value meal out of that after selling for cash on localbitcoins, and you'd be using the account for life.

Consider the lack of KFC as additional time onto your life expectancy.  Trust me, that KFC will be with you for life....  Shocked

severely disappointed....
so much thread shitting it's ridiculous.
buy it or don't, or fuck off..  I'm annoyed by this thread. 9 pages already...

miners of similar value are bought and sold on here everyday.  Dank has not directly scammed anyone.  This watch is not worth a million it's worth a couple thousand.  Same as several miners are worth.  Am I missing something?

the only people that should be posting about concerns are those looking to purchase it.  I know I don't need a guardian angel protecting me from purchases on here.. I'm a big boy and you guys should act the same.
