if you are anywhere in the US it's a deal.  sorry, i forgot to specify that in my original post.
also... to be completely honest, i don't see any documentation inside the box for the free antivirus, but there is a sticker for it on the box. so i don't know what's up with that. i certainly never used it.
if that doesn't matter to you then....
12gpdsW4c4dMrMYKrkQR9XSHwxcx7JceXR
and we have a deal, i will ship tomorrow.

for the skeptics:

edit: do you need the hsf?  if not i'd love to save on shipping.

287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Do You Want Women? - Proven Method from a Celebrity Available, for Bitcoin on: October 26, 2011, 04:35:07 PM
Think about how many guys there are in the world who would love to just get laid.

Think about how many girls there are in the world who would love to be treated like human beings. Nah, better not. Your horniness is more important.

Maybe I'm all wrong, though, and you'll do the honorable thing and marry the objectwoman.

lol, take offense much?
My point was a lot of guys want to get laid, regardless of how you or I feel about objectifying women.  A number of those guys will go to Mystery for his services and see bitcoins on the website.  That is all.

Not only that, he talks about using it as a currency, instead of exchanging to fiat.  He's got more faith in it than half of the people on this board.

If everyone put as much effort into spreading bitcoin as they do judging and flaming people we might actually get somewhere.

You appear to be disgusted at the men that game women, but lay no blame at the women's feet for being the petty shallow individuals that allow this stuff to work.  Interesting.

Not that I'm saying one is better than the other, but it seems silly to vilify only one side of the same shitty coin.

exactly.

How about the gold diggers that are happy to marry an old man for money?  let's lay it all out.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Do You Want Women? - Proven Method from a Celebrity Available, for Bitcoin on: October 25, 2011, 11:33:54 PM
I read the book The Game, it's actually pretty good.  It is not Mystery's book.  It's about a guy who gets help from Mystery, all supposedly true.  This was way before the stupid TV series that made them look ridiculous.

It doesn't have to be good or evil.  Make of it what you will.  Most the stuff in the book I already knew.  Thankfully I am not socially crippled like the audience this material is mostly intended for.

The fact is it's easy to judge when you don't know what you're talking about.  Try being a little more open minded.

Look at the bright side.  Think about how many guys there are in the world who would love to just get laid.  I imagine Mystery and his goons get sought out quite a bit.  This is good for bitcoin, it should gain a lot of attention from this.

Spoiler: socially awkward characters get married in the book.  It's not solely about getting into panties.
289  Economy / Goods / Re: Updated 10-8-11 GREAT DEALS! COME OFFER ME! PM ME! on: October 24, 2011, 10:26:37 PM
I still have not received my digital picture frame that I ordered on the 21st of September (over a month ago).  Unfortunate, as it was suppose to be a gift.  I don't think this has anything to do with mrbashfo.  Hopefully just an honest mistake.

I have emailed the company and will let you know what happens.

It is attached to my laptop backpack.  It's a nice addition.

Thanks!

I just got 2 of my 6870's back from RMA today!

They were even flashed and the manufacturer could not tell.  They just replaced them with other cards.

294  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: More miners = lower Bitcoin price (not why you think) on: September 23, 2011, 11:07:53 PM
The more money spent on hardware, the more BTC need to be immediately sold to pay for that hardware.
For me personally, I consider all my mining hardware to be sunk cost. Whether I brought that hardware for $1000 or $1 is irrelevant since it cannot be easily recovered anyways. My only goal is to maximize profits, not to break even.

This.

I pay all my costs with USD I earn from my job.  Haven't sold a bitcoin yet.  Although I have made a couple of small purchases with them.

And yes, this is typical Angelus.  If his thoughts actually contributed to something, people would be open to them, but they are pure speculation with a lot of factors missing, based on his opinion of what most 17 year old zit faced miners are doing in their mom's basement.

Thanks for the hard work.  This should help a lot of people.
296  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: 5830 ONLY AT 270MHash/s on: September 22, 2011, 11:05:48 PM
Running gui miner and msi afterburner

What miner are you using though?

Try phoenix with phatk2 kernel.  I get 300+ with my 5830's.

BFI_INT VECTORS AGGRESSION=10-12 (as in, either 10, 11, or 12.... depends on the card)

try it.

edit: in fact try all the different miners and kernels and find which one works best.

edit2: make sure you are running latest versions
297  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: I'm going to buy a used XFX Radeon 5870. Does the model make a difference? on: September 22, 2011, 09:32:52 PM
Thanks.  There are a couple rare occasions that appear as is they are non reference but are actually reference.  I just wanted to make sure it didn't work the opposite way as well.

So I'm getting a reference XFX 5870 XXX edition for 135 shipped.  I'm pretty pumped I don't think the guy even looked at ebay prices before listing it.
298  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: I'm going to buy a used XFX Radeon 5870. Does the model make a difference? on: September 22, 2011, 06:06:12 AM
If it has the squirrel cage fan near the end of the card does that necessarily indicate that it is reference?

according to the model number and some forum boards advice it is not a reference model, but it sure looks like it to me.
299  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Radeon 5970 $400 with $100 off promo code from Newegg on: September 21, 2011, 09:08:04 PM
That's weird, I definately searched first, but I might have messed up and done it under a sub category.

Sorrys.  Can I delete my thread somehow?
300  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: I'm going to buy a used XFX Radeon 5870. Does the model make a difference? on: September 21, 2011, 07:59:21 PM
Normally that would be true.  But, I'm no longer the greedy miner I use to be.  Chances are I'll go easy on it.  I

EVen if you are not going to overvolt and overclock it, just running it at full load 24/7 is abusing it.

Gaming GPUs arent designed for that. They are designed for gaming performance, and due to the very competitive nature of the market, generally specced really close to their limits (much more so than CPUs for instance, which will generally take far higher overvolting and overclocking abuses). Compromises are made to keep noise and cost down, but the load bitcoin mining puts on them is far bigger than any game. WIth an aftermarket cooler, my 5850's VRMs will not go above 60-65C in any game Ive tried, but will go to 90C while mining. And gamers rarely play 24/7/365, nor do they often  cram 3 or 4 such hot cards in a single case.

Thats not to say they will fail because of it, but odds are definitely higher than for a single card thats used for gaming a few hours per day. There is a reason professional FireGL or tesla cards cost so much more, even though they use basically the same chips. Those are designed (and binned and priced)  to run 24/7/365.

I'll go easy on it for a miner Wink
