LOL, agreed! 2,000,000 is unrealistic. Point of emphasis is to include as many people in original distribution as possible, nothing more.
Is it unrealistic? Is this being pushed on RPi forums and the like? There are a lot of people who could be potentially introduced to crypto through the RPi. |

So reading all this and still being a noob, can anyone tell me how this difficulty thing works?
The idea is that blocks are found at a certain rate, say one every ninety seconds. If lots of people are mining it then the blocks will be found too quickly, so the difficulty goes up to slow things down. As I understand it, anyway. |

That is called Difficulty. The launch was perfect. It's not a shit coin, it was your shit decision to solo, it was obvious that pools were the easy, reliable way to go since they opened on launch. |

Well after three days I solo'd and got one block confirmed, went away for my dinner and came back to find pools down, no more blocks and a near 2% premine.
I laughed quite a bit then went to mine something else, won't be bothering with PI again.
Oh, and difficulty at 20000+..... ouch, my sides hurt........

Guys we need more pools please. As much as I love hash, I can't have like 70% of the hash rate. I'm temporarily disabling new sign ups if this continues. Please use another pool until things even out a bit. There are good ones. I suggest using http://coinminer.net:19996/static/ to start with.
