also it was a little deceptive and I made a mistake because I had it on "wager amount" instead of "risk amount" and bet a favorite.  That spot should be more obvious, or change that somehow
I think bets which are posted not changeable and you need to read and check all before doing any thing

Yes I'm not saying I want to change it, but just saying it's just a little box under your bet that says your wager type and it's a little small and hard to pick up if you're not looking for it.

Hello quone, we do offer you the ability to see what you are paying for each bet and what the payout is before confirming.  This works on all three bet types.  This is the first time we are hearing that you believe it was a bit "deceptive".  We take all suggestions very seriously and will have a look at it.  We certainly thank you for playing with us.

I guess I'm not saying it was intentionally "deceptive" but just confusing for beginners on the site.

Bitbook I wouldn't have thought anything about the guys deposit issue but I had a tennis that didn't grade for like 15 hours.
326  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitBook.biz - Bitcoin sportsbook - Instant Withdrawals - Widely Trusted on: February 05, 2014, 09:10:38 PM
Has anyone taken a withdrawal today?

Yeah look above in the post.  Someone said it worked.  I would not deposit or place any bets on sports that might not be auto graded right now.
327  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitBook.biz - Bitcoin sportsbook - Instant Withdrawals - Widely Trusted on: February 05, 2014, 09:05:11 PM
The worry that this presents is horrible.  I don't care about the delay so much as I'm worried about these people getting ghost with our bitcoin.

It just doesn't make sense, why would they leave now?  and they've done giveaways, etc.  plus, as someone said, why would they still be allowing withdrawals

Well with that tennis lost today, I have gone from .25 btc to .075 left, which is all bet on picks tonight.  I must say this has been a disappointing last couple of days of picks and if things do not turn around tonight, I will have lost quite a bit of money to an "expert" picker.

Lets turn it around.

Ditto man.  The tennis loss, and then soccer win today, has me down about 9 units in the last few days.  I would expect rough patches, but 9 units in 4 days?  I have requested a refund as I bought a subscription 1 week ago (after tonight's game) and I am down a significant number of units, no matter what happens tonight.

That's some twisted logic right there. Many people can both gamble and do drugs recreationally and not get addicted, the problem is for those who cannot. People can get addicted to foods or all kinds of things that others wouldn't. And you don't smoke heroin or other drugs and immediately get addicted on the spot. People who keep going back to certain drugs and dangerous activities do so because they have a problem with those things. I've know people who have had gambling problems and drug issues from both soft and hard drugs; from weed to cigarettes to alcohol and more, but I also know people who can do all of those things recreationally with no problems at all.

Heroin can get you addicted in less than a week. There is no recreational heroin, just like their is no recreational crack or meth. Those are highly addictive and everyone that takes them gets addicted to them. Even if you don't think so, you do.

You're wrong. What are you basing this stuff on? Your own misinformed opinion? You can do any drug recreationally regardless or how addictive it is even meth or crack. There are no drugs you try once or twice and then you're completely hooked.

LMAO you must be a 13yr kid if you think you can't be hooked after one try. I seen it happen, I have had friends die because of it. But if you don't believe me do your own google search there scholar or science article, that will say otherwise.

Your logic here is flawed because you're going by any addict has to have tried the drug once, therefore you think everybody becomes hooked after their first try, which isn't the case.  And just because you've seen it happen doesn't make it true for everybody else. And did you really see it happen? Was you there the first time this person used drugs? I've known people who have smoked crack a few times as well as having tried many other hard drugs and never got addicted. How long does it take you to get addicted to cigarettes or weed or alcohol or cocaine? Are these all try them once and you're hooked too, or is it just hard drugs that get you on the first go? I'm sure there are many people who have claimed to be hooked on booze or cigarettes after their first try, but that doesn't make it so across the board.

If you don't believe me use google and research but you have taken this topic very much off-topic.

Gweedo, you're mis-informed.  You need to do the research, it's just as addicting as a drug.  You said you have experience with drug addicted friends.  You obviously don' t know anything about gambling addiction.  I have used alcohol and drugs and I'm not addicted to them AT ALL.  But I'm addicted to gambling.

withdrawing works fine... i withdrew .2... auto-grading works fine.. cashed out the .2 from a recently placed tennis bet.

Still owed .4 from starcraft last night.

Weird, withdrawing worked fine but deposits did not.

I feel bad for the people who must be depositing but haven't checked this site!  It is just so odd for it to go totally dark like this.
332  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitBook.biz - Bitcoin sportsbook - Instant Withdrawals - Widely Trusted on: February 05, 2014, 06:45:20 PM
i am worried... .4 is a lot and there's no sign of anyone coming to manually grade everything..feels like an abandoned ship.

I know I agree but that just seems like such a weird thing to have happen.  Maybe something happened to the admin or something.  Otherwise I'd expect him to have posted on here.  Anyone know what country it was out of?  If it's US that could be a problem...just speculating.
333  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Ponzi.io - Fast, Guaranteed 120% Payouts on: February 05, 2014, 06:32:27 PM
Actually you are retarded :
Says the man taking part in a Ponzi scheme...

You still don't understand. "Ponzi" is a play on word. You cannot be a ponzi and be transparent.
Ponzi schemes often use a pyramidal system and that's the link between Ponzi.io and a real ponzi.

You probably don't know but it is not the first "fair-ponzi" we see in Bitcoins, there was many of them and they were not scams.

The gem-system is similar : you take control of a gem for an amount and wait for someone else to take control after you to get back your money with interest.

To me this is a ponzi.  If people stopped playing, the last person(s) would lose their BTC. You NEED more people to keep paying to pay out the people from before.  That is a Ponzi, plain and simple.  Hey it's going to work for some people, but someone will get burned.

My tennis wagers were just graded on matches that ended under an hour ago.

Oh, must have been on auto grading on those.  The one tennis non-graded match I have is from a smaller tourney.

If the admin posts why everything has been messed up I wouldn't lose confidence in bitbook, it's been good for so long - tennis
339  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITBOOK PROBLEM! on: February 05, 2014, 05:48:10 PM
I just got in, so it seems someone is awake over there.  Also taking a little while to grade wagers today.  I'm sure everything is fine.

I have a wager that's been waiting like 12 hours to be graded.  I'm back on the site.  It's just weird the admin hasn't checked in or anything. I'm actually sure that something is WRONG, although it could just be temporary and get fixed soon.  No one has ever had problems with deposits.

One thing that would be nice is after I'm logged in and on the sports betting area, to be able to see my balance on there.  If there is a way, I couldn't find it.  Then, I'd like to be able to see how much I have pending and how much I have left (like bitbook does in the top right corner).
