81  Economy / Gambling / 500% ponzi here it comes! on: February 25, 2014, 06:01:59 PM
What's to stop a 1000% ponzi?  at what point will people stop sending money and losing money?
82  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: ★ PonziCoin ★ Fully automated | 130% Profit | Instant Payout | +121฿ Paid Out! on: February 25, 2014, 05:58:58 PM
Do not make it so it resets after 24 hours, some of us have a fair amount of money in there that has been there since before that rule. Do it after 48 hours of no activity

SO you can spam 0.01BTC there every 48 hours?
No, because I have 2 btc in there and when I put those in there, there was no time limit. Unless it outright stopped I was definitely getting my money back. Then he changes it while everyone else has their money stuck in there.

Wow, you mean a ponzi operator is being unfair?  There are no rules, this is ridiculous.
83  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you think that we need new Ponzi section? on: February 25, 2014, 05:52:37 PM
Has anyone looked how many of these threads are started by the same person(s) or newbies?  I'd bet it's like 95%.
84  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com | 500M+ Bets | 300k+ BTC Wagered | Free BTC | 1% Edge | Instant on: February 25, 2014, 05:26:56 PM
Pvp sounds pretty fun.  I think it's pretty obvious it must be something like you go against someone to see who will get the higher roll.  Or something like that.  ALmost like an "invest" option except there is no house edge.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money run by Gox and conspiracy happening right now (Joint statement topic) on: February 25, 2014, 04:18:21 PM
Guys, don't want to spread FUD.

Just facts:

- All actors under joint statement KNEW ABOUT THE SITUATION.
That means all of them are pretty much responsible for this situation and most of all, they acted jointly. The first statement had insolvency written into, then they changed it. THEY ACTUALLY KNEW!!! AND THEY PROFITED OF PEOPLE BEFUDDLED BY STATEMENTS (Gox statements, blockchain, Roger Ver etc etc)

- Now that Gox will be gone EXPECT HEAVY REGULATORY RISK.
The first exchanges to go down will be probably Bitstamp and Btc-e as they are located in Europe and Europe will heavily regulate exchanges as they promised, especially off-shored ones.

Don't be surprised if you see this topic removed and my nickname banned because there is an agenda and corruption probably in the whole 'foundation' if not the whole 'core developers' team.

My suggestion - either keep USD/EUR mostly for now if you think you can handle loosing it or withdraw bitcoins if you believe in this beautiful technology.

I want to put a question of 'Bitcoin foundation' TRUST insolvency, as well as core developers and this forum administrators/moderators.

They all DID KNOW obviously.  Gox should have informed users of stopping transfers (BTC/fiat), as soon as they stopped withdrawals.  The fact that they did not warn customers of their impending collapse is criminal!

Yes, it could very well be criminal.  I don't know which entity is going to do anything about it though.  The Japanese authorities, from what I've read, are taking a big hands off approach.  THey did market in the US so I think you could sue them in the US.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why so much violence? on: February 25, 2014, 04:15:24 PM
Just be careful with what you say.  Even in the US you cannot incite people to violence, and there are limits to the 1st Amendment.  I know if you lost major money in Gox you'd be pissed though.  There are other avenues to getting revenge or your money back, like suing him.

I think this is the highest paying campaign right now, isn't it?  Can anyone please confirm when they've been paid?  Just because I'm obviously interested but would like to see some evidence of payments first.  Thanks
88  Economy / Services / Re: I need some btc on: February 25, 2014, 04:12:49 PM
You are a newbie with like no posts and you just say sell my services.  You need to think about yourself a little bit - what can you offfer?  Speak multiple languages?  know anything about computers, coding, internet, advertising?
89  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 0.5btc/month for your signature on: February 25, 2014, 04:08:48 PM
I am glad someone got into the mix to compete with Primedice.  In fact, I think Primedice raised their payout because of your sig campaign.  I think the more the merrier in terms of advertisement!  Hope everything works out well for you.
90  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MTGox lost 750K Bitcoins? on: February 25, 2014, 04:06:17 PM
That's like how they were blaming transaction malleability.  I mean, after like the 3rd time in a week someone says "hey you never sent me the 100 btc", you might think they'd check into it more carefully.
91  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: NEWS UPDATE on MTGOX web www.mtgox.com/ on: February 25, 2014, 04:02:51 PM
Their statement means nothing.  I guess at this point, they don't care what happens because they closed all trades and withdrawals.  Sure, they're killing Bitcoin the longer they drag this out, but since when have they cared about Bitcoin?
92  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinDrafts.com | Daily Fantasy Sports for Bitcoin | Freerolls Today! | Rewards on: February 25, 2014, 03:59:12 PM
I have the same problem. Can't get into the second tourney for tickets.  I also noticed the freeroll tourney amounts got lowered to .05.
93  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bet On Mt Gox's Survival - Zentrade on: February 25, 2014, 03:44:40 PM
I wonder if you could eiehter show some of your wallets, that you have funds in there.  Or put a certain amount of btc or customer funds in escrow.
94  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roulette'm | 100K Satoshi Give-Away | 1000 Satoshi Faucet | 1.35% House Edge on: February 25, 2014, 03:18:41 PM
Waiting to be able to make a withdrawal here.  Is a new version coming soon, and carrying over the old coins I had in my account?
95  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Find Mark Karpeles and do _xxxxxx- to him on: February 25, 2014, 03:05:57 PM
Maybe people are trying to locate him first, so he can be served with legal papers.  Guys, if anyone here has lost BTC with Gox, I'd advise not waiting around.  It may pay to be first in line suing him if he can't cover all the losses.
96  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitBook.biz - Bitcoin sportsbook - Instant Withdrawals - Widely Trusted on: February 25, 2014, 03:02:28 PM
Just a heads-up that tonight's UFC matches will be graded at the end of the night and not inbetween fights. Thank you for you patience.

LOL

Oh man thank god I got out of this shitty book

I mean bitbook, why don't you explain WHY you're doing this?  I can't think of a reason otehr than what this poster said, or that someone there is too lazy to check the results until the matches are over.  Eitehr way you can'tbe taken seriously if this is how you're going to operate.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After Mark Karpeles declares bankruptsy on: February 25, 2014, 03:00:21 PM
I think he'd want to wait until after he gets sued and a judgment comes down against him before entering bankruptcy.  Otherwise he'll be paying the judgment off his entire life.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS everyone insane? on: February 25, 2014, 02:52:26 PM
Hey I'm with you, something needs to be done.  And no, not violence, "we're trying to live in a society here!" (Costanza)
Sue Gox and if there is no Gox then sue Karpeles personally.
99  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: NO PROOF MtGox is insolvent - Document possibly a Hoax? - STOP THE FUD! on: February 25, 2014, 02:24:33 PM
The Mt. Gox homepage was not loading, although no error message appeared. Its source code contained a line saying, "put announce for mtgox acq here."  That's from yahoo news.  I wonder if that means Gox is being acquired?

Also, I think Gox SHOULD be sued.  That will help matters because it will put everything in the open.  It will also lend credibility, however slim, to Bitcoin because you can get legal redress if someone steals your coins.
100  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: It appears Mt. Gox isn't dead but rebranding as Gox after 1 month hiatus. on: February 25, 2014, 04:53:01 AM
And carry over old funds and coins to the new site?  Or start totally fresh?  To start fresh they'd have to go through some kind of bankruptcy I believe.
